We brought our Goldendoodle puppy in and he was somewhat matted but were told she would keep at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch of hair. We could not even recognize the dog when we came to pick it up. They even shaved his ears which had not matting whatsoever. Shaving the ears, jeez! We would have paid double to have someone comb out a bit and then cut, but were never given the option. The dog was down to skin and bones. The puppy looked terrible and was totally traumatized. When we brought it home it lay there, and didn't move the whole night. We were never given optional call to tell us what they were going to do. I will never go here again! Terrible place.

My sweet pup (who gets anxious even being touched by new people) doesn’t mind going here to be groomed. Her haircuts are always wonderful. We’ve been coming for over a year and will continue to come as long as we can!

I like this place. They work well and it's not as expensive as Petco. I pay the amount that used to pay for just a dog at Petco for both of my dogs. I really recommend this place.

I love this place! I used to bring my dog to Petsmart to get groomed but she never seemed happy when I would pick her up and would shake like she was scared when I dropped her off. Also they were way over priced. My dog seems way happier going to Indiana Bones and they do a fabulous job. All the groomers seem very gentle with the dogs (and cats) and they all come out looking fabulous! They usually can always fit me in to their schedule if I all of a sudden remember that my dog needs to be groomed. To give you an idea on pricing, my dog is 13 pounds and I usually get her trimmed, washed, and her nails clipped and grinded, and it usually costs around $70 with tip. Not too bad for every 2-3 months. It would cost me almost $100 at Petsmart for the same thing.

My high maintenance Coton de Tulear has been going here monthly for 6 years. She would totally be affected if they were nothing but sweet... and she in fact doesnt mind going there at all! Skylar also has enjoyed their boarding service many times. I drop her at store and they bring her back to store and wash her up before I pick up. The owners Diane and Jim are awesome ???? I always love the way Skylar looks!

The nicest people here! Our 2 dogs have been loyal customers well over 15 years. Its easy and quick to drop off and pick up. My white dog comes out white and not dingy. Both dogs require a good brush out and their coats are consistently well brushed out. They always know how short I like them and like another user noted, they tell me about things I might have missed. The dogs are happy here.

For the past 20 years I have been taking my dogs to Indiana Bones and I cannot say enough good things about Diane and her crew. You can see as soon as you enter the shop that the dogs (and some cats) are not unhappy to be there and are well cared for. In fact, on 2 occasions over the years they detected something in Josie that I had missed and recommended I make a visit to the vet, and on both occasions I was very grateful for their advice. I love and adore my dogs (both past and present) and wouldn't take them anywhere else.

First, I want to say that I've been to a few other dog groomers as I don't have a place I consistently go to. Each other experience I've had has been extremely friendly and a great experience. To start, they have the wrong address listed on their website!!! I found the correct address on Google!! Not their site!! As far as Indiana bones, I thought the place was dirty. I walked in the front door and 2 people basically just looked at me and didn't say anything. I just blurted out that I was there for a scheduled appointment. Next, they asked my last name I told them and they had no idea who I was. I gave my appointment time and they ok great then came around the counter and out a choke chain on my dog. Now my dog is big but old and fairly calm. I started to walk out and realized they never asked what i wanted them to do (ears, clean, nails etc). i then explained what I wanted. At this point, they asked if this was my first time and had me fill out a card with mine and my dogs info. So far, the lady helping me at the counter said maybe 5 words to me total none of those resembled hello, welcome, etc. they were just 1 word answers to my questions. Another lady, was a bit more pleasant but she was speaking to me from across the room as she was grooming another dog. I asked how long they thought it might take as I was leaving and the answer was just "we will call you". I again asked if they might have SOME idea at which point they gave me a time frame. So I came back about an hour and a half later and they had absolutely no idea who I was even though I just walked in a short time earlier and spent about 15 min going through their ridiculous check in process. So i was again asked what my last name was. They didn't write it down when I first arrived to drop off, so I figured they wouldn't be able to find it this time either. Sure enough they couldn't find it!! So, I just pointed to my dog and said that one is mine after letting her try to find it for a minute. Now, the other lady came up to take payment. I paid with a card and was charged a fee for doing so. More importantly, she asked me if I would like to leave a tip. Maybe I'm crazy but I don't think that's very professional. I decided not to, looked up and saw the unfriendly lady, who by the way didn't let my dog out past their gate until my payment was processed, and the other lady rolling their eyes at each other. I'm really not sure how they would expect a tip but I guess they did. Anyways, the grooming was fine, as was the grooming at the 4 or 5 other places I've been too. In this case, I think I learned my lesson. I had such a good experience at the other places I'd been too that I took them for granted. I will definitely not be giving these people my business again. I've had bad experiences before and don't ever write reviews like this. This particular business was exceptionally bad and I feel that other people should be informed before deciding to use them. I would think the type of attitude toward me would reflect on how they treat my dog while I was gone.
