This place is nice i have been there 3 times already staff is cool and they have good items to buy and their reptiles are cool... This is my spot from now on on buying my water dragon's food... Definitely checked them out...

This place is fairly AWESOME! An unexpected resource for all things reptilian and some added amphibian & avian. We couldn't stay long but were highly impressed, will totally be back.

Today I found a baby lizard stuck in a spider web in my backyard. It was so tiny it must have just recently hatched. I tried my best to extract the web from its body and tiny claws, but couldn’t finish it. I called the store and they said they could help. They handled the little lizard with care and removed all of the web off of him. It warmed my heart that they even cared about a common wild lizard. I was worried no one would want to help. I named the little guy Webster and released him back into the wild. If I ever get a domesticated reptile, I will be sure to come back to the Painted Reptile! Thanks again for all your help!

The guy who approached me looked like he didnt even care to help me amd was rude by walking away from me to help someone else without excusing himself. Never will i enter the store again. Waste of time

I think the shop is closed the phone number doesnt work and there was a padlock was on the door

Wow! Amazing prices...As a matter of fact, they're the lowest I've seen in SoCal, and I've shopped in 4 counties. Jerry was in the store my first visit. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Both of those things are important to me. It's a bit hard to find but well worth the search. Just enter on south side of Oxnard and keep going all the way down the driveway to the back parking lot. This is DEFINITELY my new go-to store for my meeting the needs of my Savannah monitor.

Staff is super helpful and very friendly. Great place to get feeders and decor, if we hadn’t moved out of LA I’d still be a regular, highly recommend this place.
