Everyone I interacted with was so kind. Handing over Mr. Cat was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but the person who received him was so kind and supportive. His remains were packaged beautifully and the entire process was very reasonably priced. I keep telling my friends that I hope they don't need this service, but if/when they do they should use Cal Pet.

It was so hard losing my pet. All interactions with CalPet were professional and met with sympathy. If you go to their facility, despite being in an industrial area, is very peaceful with benches and a small garden. I wanted to buy a …

Losing my pet was very difficult! I loved the extra care Jack was given all the way to how the driver extended his condolences while delivering my Boy to me. Thanks for the great keepsake and service!

For the second time, I've entrusted the aftercare of a precious little buddy to this fine company. On the phone and in person, the staff are understanding and respectful. They answer all one's questions and keep their promises. And their charges are reasonable. I find it very comforting to keep some physical presence of my darlings after they have passed. If you feel the same, trust these folks to take good care of you and your pet.

The employees here are very helpful, we where still in shock after our little girl suddenly passed in the middle of the night. I called the next morning and the person I spoke to explained the process and told me we could come in anytime. The paperwork was easy and they let us take our time picking out the urn and gave us time to say our final goodbye. We picked her up 2 wks later the footprint we got was perfect.

Very careing, thoughtful, kind and polite.....Once again the employees of this establishment have gone above and beyond in seeing to our comfort and ease after suffering another devastating loss of a family member, friend and loved one. Understanding the magnitude of our loss, they took the time to just be good human beings by showing compassion and patience in which was so appreciated during this very difficult time....Five Stars!.....

Due to COVID-19, the vet came to my home to put our foster doggie down. Donut had a mass growing inside his spinal colum. I had to drive Donut to Call Pet. They were do nice. Bruce came and got him and said he would take care of him like he was his own.

We called CalPet when our dog passed away at home. They were super compassionate and accommodating. I called and everything was arranged quickly and efficiently at a fair price. The passing of a beloved pet is always hard and everyone at CalPet was very kind throughout the process. Thank you CalPet!

Craig - was accommodating and respectful when we drop off our little princess. My wife called in ahead of time to let him know she was immune comprised. He helped fill out the forms over the phone and make payment to help provide contact free experience. Craig was at the door ready to receive out baby. Thank you so much for your compassion during this tough time. ????

I can't explain how Heartbroken I still am but at the same time I feel a bit at peace knowing I can bring him to whatever house we live in and knowing he's not in the dirt or thrown away like some people do. He came in a beautiful box and was cremated separately to assure we only got his remains and no one else's. Thank you Cal Pet Crematory for making feel some comfort knowing hes still with me.I'm happy we had him for as long as we did. My childhood dog and friend. Please Rest Easily Charlie ????

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Not only were the beyond rude and unprofessional- they didn’t even spell my pets name correctly

So appreciative that we have a place like this to take our beloved family pets to once they pass on. That they make it possible to somehow be able to keep a piece of them with you once they are gone. The service they give and the compassion they show is amazing. They understand why you are there and they get that your pet is part of the family. Thank you for making it possible to have my beautiful girl Venice back with me.

My family has had over the years, 5 pets cremated by Cal Pet Crematory. The VCA Pet Clinic made the arrangements for all 5 pets. I was very pleased with the caring, sensitive, professional manner in which all our pets cremations were handled. Very supportive staff and compliments to the person, whose name I forgot unfortunately, was sympathetic for the loss of the last two pets whose ashes he dropped off at my home within the last 3 years. Thank you for being there.

This place is great and reasonably priced. I went straight to the source when my cat that died suddenly. Craig was very kind, thoughtful and considerate. It cost me only $160.. I learned my lesson when I my other cat died years ago, the vet charged me $600. Craig is great he has a high caliber of true professionalism. I highly recommend them...Nooch

During this most difficult time, having to say goodbye to my sweet Dachshund Chessie, a best friend for 16 years, Cal Pet was very compassionate. They were very prompt so I was able to bring her back home where she belongs. They had a nice selection of urns and boxes to choose from. I chose a lovely pine box and they made a nameplate for it. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Thank you so much for the care and respect that you provided to us and our beloved dog, Kasey. We are having a hard time with his passing but are extremely grateful for the hand delivery of his ashes and the added touch of clay paw print plate. You have no idea how much this meant to us. Again, thank you all.

Have used Cal Pet during many difficult times, seven to be exact. They are caring, professional and reasonable. I just lost my sweet rescue cat on New Years Day. The emergency vet hospital (True Care, Studio City) tried to steer me towards a crematory service that would have cost three times what Cal Pet charges! I am so grateful for Cal Pet.

This is a very special place. A little hard to see from the street because it is behind an old auto place, so look for the sign! The people are gentle loving souls whose life work is to provide respectful care for your beloved pet's passing. I have taken several cats under many different circumstances (one died from cancer, one was a kitten I saw hit by a car) and our beloved pitbull who I had placed on a board so two people could carry her. The man who came out to the parking lot to help me lift her just picked her up into his arms, cradled her and said how beautiful she was. It was such a gentle and sweet gesture. These are special people! You don't have to worry or feel like it will freak you out or be weird (I didnt however elect to use the viewing room.) They let you know when the ashes are ready. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I live upstate now and have paid twice the price. where I live. They also pick up and drop off at many vet offices. Ashes can be mailed Fedex to you if you are far away. They also have a variety of urns, boxes available. I would give them 10 stars. And I also would say that driving my pet to their facility and having that closure in a supportive environment was something I would choose to do again with no qualms. I would give them 10 stars.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to share because I had no idea what to expect. Half of me stupidly thought some lady would hand me a ziplock bag of ashes and send me on my way. I realize how silly this is, but I didn’t know. Of course, the people there were extremely kind and courteous. Dealing with complete strangers walking into your office and having to show sympathy for a story you don’t know has to be hard. But from the parking lot to the lobby to the gentlemen offering me sympathy, everything was very well done. There is no lady with a ziplock bag. It’s a lovely lobby, they bring your babe out in a cardboard box (which inside has another very sweet box which holds your can of ashes), you try to sign, they have tissue when you cry instead, eventually you sign and go on your terribly sad way. None of it is easy, but expect a very lovely setting and a very professional box.

I run a rescue and we work with many senior and otherwise frail or hospice animals... so sadly we deal with loss on a regular basis. Over the years we have used pretty much every crematory in the area at one time or another... but for the last 10 years we use ONLY CalPet for our crematory services. The staff there REALLY do care about your pet, your personal well being after your loss... and your pocketbook. Foreverhome Pet Rescue will always recommend CalPet.

Reasonable price for an excellent service. It's my second time coming to this place and my experience so far has been positive. I really appreciate the respect and care given to the remains on my beautiful girl cat. Thank you for making it easier through hard times.

My dog Snoopy passed away suddenly back in March. I called multiple places & all of them stated I could not witness the cremation & were overly expensive. Until I called this place, they were very understanding & allow witnessing cremation. Although it was tough cremating my dog, Gabriel a staff member at this facility made this whole process much easier & pleasant! I could not thank him enough!! He even recommended a great guy that does dog portrait tattoos because my boyfriend & I were talking about doing that. This place really loves & respects animals. This review was long over due. I just would like to say a BIG THANK YOU again to Gabriel & this facility. ❣️????????
