Alexis has been taking care of our dogs for 2 to 3 years now. She is awesome, my dogs love and excited to see her. Never had an issue and the prices is right.

My parents have used her for awhile now she is always fantastic with our geriatric chihuahua mix Honey Pot. Her cage free attitude with the dogs is amazing and I love that Honey is never stressed out or panting when she is finished.

Alexis is amazing! Our dog does not like being groomed, but listens to Alexis and comes back looking new!

Alexis is wonderful. She is a skilled groomer and clearly a dog lover. She has a wonderful disposition with both dogs and dog parents. I will never take my pups anywhere else again.

Horrible experience! I am not a picky dog parent, I’m super understanding and willing to help facilitate the grooming and maintenance of my dog any way I possibly can. This was more than evident when I took my dog to Alexis and her grooming shop today. Her co-worker Andrea stated that she was behind and I explained to her that was no problem and to take her time grooming him and that I “am in no rush whatsoever”. I explained that he was shaggy and that she could use her discretion with his cut. Before I leave I say “you don’t have to be a hero” informing her that she doesn’t have to do anything above and beyond. She thanked me for my understanding and I left my dog there and was on my way. An hour or so later I get 6 text messages asking if I can “come back tomorrow to finish my cut” she explained about some personal issues she was dealing with and what not and that she could finish the rest of his cut tomorrow. Before I finish my text message response stating that’s fine she texts me back and says “Alexis is finishing him we’ll contact you when he’s done. 20 minutes later I receive a text message saying I can pick him up in 20 minutes. I wait 15 minutes and hop in the car and head up to the shop. As I walk in she states that she “allllllmost done and to give her 2 minutes”. Obliging I step outside so that my dog doesn’t see me but I can see in the window and no more than 15 seconds later I see her try for one last piece of fur and she slices right across my dogs tongue. I see him immediately distressed and I walk in to see him began to profusely bleed from his mouth. Working in surgery I know the tongue is extremely vascular and so I don’t panic yet because I can’t see the extent of my dogs injury. As I grab paper towel after paper towel I see that he is bleeding through them at an alarming rate and finally when he opens his mouth I can see that it isn’t a small cut, but a fat chunk of my dogs tongue is dangling in a pool of blood in his mouth. Now I realize that I have no choice but to take him to the vet because he is going to need almost immediate medical attention. I grab him, grab more paper towels and a towel to help soak up all the blood pouring out into the towel and all over my car, and head to the vet. As I walk into the vet the attendants hop up and grab my dog upon seeing me run in with him bleeding everywhere and rush him into the back. While I know his injury isn’t life threatening, it doesn’t help me seeing my 8 year old boy that I’ve had since he was 7 weeks old in pain and bleeding and scared. Some people might think he’s just a dog, but to me he was my son before I had a kid. Needless to say as I sit here at the vet and look at the $800 bill for surgery that Alexis so happily declined to even help out with (not sure what reputable groomer doesn’t have insurance for such occasions), I contemplate the worth of going to them as groomers at all. My dog is certainly worth every penny I have to spend to negate his pain and suffering, but the experience wasn’t worth it whatsoever and I will recommend that none of my friends, family, co-workers, or remotely close acquaintances ever take their dog to this shop. Not if they value the safety and well being of their beloved pet.

She has great reviews and I can see why she got us in and out for a trim on our dog's nails without a glitch. We will start bringing all of our animals here
