Yosemite Pet Hospital Simi Valley, California

This vet is insane, the WORST vet I’ve been to, they scammed my mom. They charged her for several tests and X-rays that are double the price than other places. HER BILL CAME OUT TO 1,000 when all my cat had was a UTI. We explained her symptoms, it is common sense that it was just a UTI. Supposedly checked her heart, did X-ray, urine, her blood. She didn’t ask for these tests at all my cat is healthy and she doesn’t have a heart murmur like they said she did. All we were concerned about was a UTI. When my mom asked why they were charging her that much, and why they ran unnecessary tests / X-rays they said they had too to find out the problem and they can’t make a refund. We went to another vet for a second check up, and got a 2nd opinion he agreed that it was outrageous and very unnecessary. It’s obvious they write they’re own fake reviews.

Priscilla and the team are simply amazing!!! I’m so sad that I will be relocating out of state, however they go above and beyond for their clients. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet in the Simi Valley area. Top notch service guaranteed. They will be missed !

My fur baby Car-Lee was all swollen on the right side of her face this was the only vet that I called that would take her right away❤️ They were friendly and knew what to do????

We wanted to thank the entire staff and especially Dr Lissel for their extremely kind and professional assistance in regards to Calvin. Our dog had an emergency and we could not have gotten better service or care from Yosemite Animal Hospital.

Took my cats here last year for a routine exam because it was nearby. The doctor and staff were knowledgeable. The pricing was average. However, it seemed to me like they just wanted to do extra tests so they could bill me for more services. One of my cats has FIV. They wanted me to get yearly blood tests for both my cats because of this, even though I already know he's positive and it really wouldn't make any difference to the care action plan. What's the point of confirming something you already know over and over again, except to line your pockets? Even if my other cat got FIV (unlikely), a blood test wouldn't change the care unless they got sick. Then I called when my cat had an emergency in the middle of a weekday and they said they couldn't do anything that day. I ended up having to take my cat to another place to put her down. They don't seem to be very readily available. Will drive further for something better for my other cat.

my two pups, baybe and boomer got into a fight this morning with a HUGE raccoon on my patio. Boomer was unscathed. But baybe was a MESS. She has four puncture wounds and abrasions across her chest and body. Her eye was seriously hurt and obviously, she was shaken and terrified. The team is amazing kept me calm and we're amazing with my puppies. I love the entire demeanor of the staff and the friendly kind service. I will always come back to this location. the Vet was amazing and did such thorough work with Baybe. Shout out to the fantastic team at Yosemite pet hospital who did such a tremendous job for my fur babies! I cannot thank you enough!

Quick service! Very knowledgeable and professional staff. I absolutely have no complaints. My kitten feels much better now. Prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend!

Caring, Knowledgeable Staff !! Great Doctor ... Took our Dog there today because we thought she had an ear infection. Turns out she did not, but they gave her a very thorough checkup and we got a clean bill of health. As a crazy dog parent we had a laundry list of unrelated questions. Dr. Madrazo addressed all of our questions and concerns and spent a lot of time with us, and made us feel very comfortable. The staff was very caring and attentive to our Dog and we left there very satisfied and worry free !! I definitely recommend this practice !!

If you read anything of this review, read this: Yosemite pet hospital goes above and beyond in pet care. They are honest, caring, and will do anything for your pet’s health. I would recommend them over any other facility. They are in your pets’ best interest and treat you like family. They saved our Cat’s life when she had no other options. Dr. Lissel Madrazo is nothing short of amazing and is a person who really loves her job and cares for animals. We adopted a cat from a shelter who was healthy but shortly after fell ill with a respiratory infection, which unfortunately lead to an eye infection. Throughout the whole process Dr. Lissel was there for every step of the way, providing us with details and options for treatment for our cat. Her treatment options were very affordable, and she answered any questions that we had (plus we never felt rushed or dismissed). She called us for updates on our cat, got us in for same day appointments when our cat was having an allergic reaction, referred us to specialist when it progressed, and offered us many options. Unfortunately, our kitty had to have her eye removed but she is currently in recovery and is doing great. Dr. Lissel gave us may resources on getting the surgery and even offered to do the surgery herself if we were unable to find an affordable solution. In short, Dr. Lissel saved our cats life and let us keep our family member and will continue to help us keep her health. We thank you and most importantly, Raven (our kitty) thanks you. We hope you know what a huge difference you have made in our life and our cats’ life. Here is to many more years of great health with your guidance.

We brought our rescue dog in for his first checkup and to get a few shots. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the facility, how well organized everything was, and the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
