Very caring and goes above and beyond more than other vet locations

It couldn't have gone any better. Everything was explained and done thoroughly and very professionally. They have been my dog's vet for over 5 yrs.

Given our current health and safety restrictions, I think that my experience at BCVH was exceptional. Being able to interface with the staff and meet with Dr. Guenther in person made the difference for us. I have been taking my fur babies to see Dr. Guenther and Dr. Selman for 20 years. I am always pleased with the care the dogs receive in all stages of life.

Our visit was perfect! Staff is always caring with animals. Dr. Guenther is always thorough and supportive. That's why we have been Blue Cross clients for 25 years!

The most important thing you want in a veterinary practice is that the people to care for your animals as if they belong to them. BCVH does that in a professional, caring manner. We've gone there for years & can't imagine being without their expertise.

Staff is ery polite and helpful. Doctors give detailed information and reports about my animals everytime I have an appointment. Polite, honest and knowledgeable.

I have been taking my pets to Blue Cross Veterinary for a few years now nd they have always been great. Dr. Guenther, who is the min vet that my dog sees now, is always very friendly, kind, and helpful with any of my pet's needs. Likewise, the support staff has always been amazing and great every time I take my pet in. Even though I am now not living in Long Beach, it is well worth the drive to take my dog to a quality vet that I like.

They are fast and efficient! Excellent service and everyone is very sweet and makes you feel, comfortable. Highly recommend going here.

During this pandemic services can be difficult pretty much everywhere, however, BCV put in place well organized service flows. They have minimal contact while the kiddos go into see the doctor. Communication conducted by phone. The doctor is just as interested and spends the time necessary to discuss concerns as they are in person. I don't feel like they are rushing me. They take good care of my girl!

The attention and care of my pets (yogi and oyku) keep me coming back for their services. Highly recommend veterinarians and site staff.

Blue Cross Is great with animals and with people. They care about you and your pet. The way they adjusted due to the pandemic is absolutely amazing. Our family is so grateful for how safe the have always made us feel.

Brodie just had his yearly shots, and even though he was anxious going in, he came out cool as a cucumber. They wrapped him in a cuddly blanket and brought him to the car, and he has been a contented little guy all day. Thank you!

We’ve been bringing our cat Sebastian here for a few years now and we’ve always received clear, helpful information from a professional staff. Price-wise, value is solid but not exceptional—I’ve never felt ripped off, though. Be sure to download the app to get loyalty rewards, too.

Service is to slow. Always want to charge exam fees even on recurring issues. Like itching .

This vet really cares about their animal clients! Pricey but well worth it.

Watch out for the examination fee. Seems to me they want to charge an exam fee on every visit. Even though I've been here before for an ongoing health problem with my pet.I felt price gouged. ☹

Excellent staff. Dr Sellman & Dr Guenther are just wonderful! Started coming here 3 years ago with my guinea pig waffles and came back with a Great Dane. Yes it's pricy but I rather pay and come where I know my pets are safe, taken care of & well loved. The staff is very educated here, I tried 3 places before I called Blue cross. As a new pet parent they were very patient and took their time with me. All the ladies in the front are just awesome with me & my enormous puppy. Dr Guenther is so detailed in explaining things to me. Gives me options & even catches things like if my dog has had her meds. She scolded me. And made it very clear my dogs health is #1 we have not missed a pill ever since. I read some of these reviews and honestly the two people complaining about Dr G & the mean staff.....just plain lies. Angry people who play victims and exaggerate. 3 years coming here Ive never seen anyone here be rude or mistreat anyone or any pet. Ever.

Monica at the front is the best. The are my other vet but take care of all my travel needs. Great for International certificate. I looked everywhere in San Diego and they are the vet my woman uses. Awesome guys. Thank you for helping.

Came to facility to inquire about boarding we really loved the family and employees. Now seeing vet who are wonderful.
