The staff is caring and professional. The facility is clean, comfortable and an easy environment for the dogs.

They managed to traumatize my happy, well adjusted dog in ten minutes. The staff's belief in their own expertise bordered on arrogance. Communication was poor and my instructions were not followed. I do not recommend.

A small business, I am impressed with their priorities, caring for our dogs! I saw conscious attention to my dog's evaluation time, learning about him, what he was comfortable with and not. I am looking forward to using their services. Keep up the great work.

My dog Flyboy absolutely loves going to daycare. He is so much happier now that he gets to go there.

first day at doggie daycare and i notice i had two missed calls from them two hours after dropping off my dog. i immediately call back when realizing i missed the call due to bad reception in my area. staff member tells me i must immediately come back to pick up my dog because she has “kennel cough?!” WTH? my dog is young and she has never been around any other dogs, ever! until this day!! (and her evaluation). apparently they called my son (when they couldn’t get ahold of me) asking him to drive up to pick her up and that it was an emergency ( he lives 3 hours away) i don’t have anyone else in my life who could pick her up! i stopped what i was doing to go pick her up and a staff member tells me one of the other dogs as kennel cough.. ???? during my observation: my dog DID NOT have kennel cough! she’s been with me for 9 hours now and not ONE SINGLE peep from her?!! WHY would your staff member tell me she had kennel cough?! freak me out and make me drive frantically across town just to find out she is completely fine?! i’m really disappointed in the unprofessional staff. i don’t even understand why i would have to even pay for the 2 hours, just to be lied to? oh well. live and learn i guess. no more doggie daycare for this pup if this is how the business is ran ✌????

I know an employee so am familiar with all policies, safety measures & the care taken when screening new dogs. If I took my dogs to daycare, this would be it!

It just doesn't get any better than AHDDC. The professionalism, the heart, the environment. Everything about this dog care center is the very best in Sonoma County

We are giving this rating on behalf of our dogs. We went on vacation over the holidays with our 2 dogs, had contacted the daycare prior to coming up - to try and make sure everything went smoothly, and of course on our end it didn't. But they were incredibly patient and understanding with us. There is a 2 hour trial period to determine if your dog is a good fit and gets along well with everyone, beyond that, you pay. They are affordable and all of the staff is beyond nice. Our little guys had no problems leaving or coming back, which says a lot as one of our dogs HATES being alone and the other refuses to enter buildings associated with unpleasant experiences.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The people here are wonderful and take loving care of the animals. The facility is fantastic and the dogs are in "dog heaven".

My dog has been going to Almost Home since she was a puppy [5 years] At 1st she has some behavioral issues, but the AH staff worked w/ her & she got past them. Dogs are well-supervised by people who really like dogs. They are sorted by size and, to some extent, temperament, into 3 separate play areas. When I leave my dog there, I feel confident that she will be safe and have a fun, energetic play day.

Almost home is really "home" for my pooches when I"m working. I know they love being there and that all the folks at Almost Home really love dogs. They are conscientious, loving and watchful of all the dogs and the dogs love them. It is clear from the way the pooches love to go there, and want to stay and play that they feel cared for and safe and comfy there. The owners are very careful to vet all dogs and owners before accepting a dog, and they won't allow hostile dogs to be there. The overnight care, when necessary, is wonderful also. They only accept a few dogs and they stay at the owners home with them. If you need to have a safe place where you can leave your dogs with confidence, Almost Home is the place. If there were ten stars, that's how many I would have given them.

Our dog, Gracie, fell instantly in love with the place...She doesn't really do that. I want to live there.
