We adopted a bunny about two weeks ago. I called to let them know I can no longer take care of her because of life situations that came unexpectedly. Our bunny was having seizures and had vet care which the director insisted she needed meds my vet advised me that if it was an on going poblem he would start her on meds after running some blood work . thankfully she stopped having them and didn't require any meds. I called rabbit haven for support to be able to re-home her and I felt judged and attacked Through out the whole process. Customer service is not their greatest strength. Heather the first thing I mentioned to you was that I can no longer take care of her due to what I had mentioned. You obviously completely ignored that part of the conversation. I spoke to my vets receptionist and mentioned you were pushy throughout the whole conversation while they were doing their best to help us . My vet was doing his job and you were telling his receptionist to give me medication for something he did not diagnose her. He told us if she continues with her seizures that she would need blood work to find out what was causing them. your response to this message proves my point.

I adore this group. They're extremely helpful, even if you haven't adopted through them. They helped us with our Peppy Pepperton for years with nail trims and advice. They helped our family learn how to properly take care of him. Auntie Heather is quite knowledgeable about rabbits and is incredibly compassionate. She took a photo I sent to her of our Peppy who had passed away and turned it into a lovely memorial. This was after she kept checking in on us to see how he was doing. I highly recommend this organization.

Bad service and no help/support after you adopt a rabbit from them. They are not honest about their rabbit condition either. Worst experience, I would never adopt from them again!

It helps saving rabbits like how we need to save dogs and cats but rabbits are getting tortured for makeup concealer but this isn't that right you should pay attention on the concealer where it says you'll see rabbit on it that's not right to kill him so probably this place can bring any kind of rabbit that's wild or something to save them

The Rabbit Haven is the most valuable resource that i have for my bunnies. Heather and James are bunny experts, and beyond. James is the bunny whisperer. He is the only person my bunnies will let trim their nails (not even the vet can get it done as well as James). Their grooming prices are super low. Heather is the earth Angel to all bunnies, and bunny parents. Their bunny knowledge is endless, and their caring hearts are boundless. Heather and James provide a world-class service, and are doing very good work. We feel very lucky to have them in the Santa Cruz area.
