We boarded Bailey for 12 days over the holidays. She was so well taken care of. We felt she was safe away from us

After doing a lot of research and hearing highly from people about K9 Activity Club, I chose to board my dogs there for 1 week because I was having major hip surgery. During their week-long stay, they were supposed to get a bath the day before we picked them up, which was perfect for us as I was going to be extremely limited in physical movements and unable to help my significant other. They were great at communicating with me within the first couple days about some GI upset and overall progress but hadn’t heard anything else so assumed everything was going well. When my significant other picked them up, he noted a farm smell from both dogs who clearly didn’t get a bath with no explanation as to why they didn’t and about 2 days worth of food for each dog when their food was portioned out per day, so I’m not sure what they ate for those 2 days with again, no explanation. Overall, our dogs clearly had fun as they came back tired but I’m just unsure if we’ll bring them back for another stay.

I highly recommend K9 Activity Club for anyone wanting to ensure their fur baby is taken care of. Our Skyler loves returning to play with her friends! The staff is very professional and I appreciate the daily report card and communication about how she’s doing.

I can't thank Natalie enough. She runs the Saturday Puppy Socials (in addition to what I'm sure are many other responsibilities). She is skilled, thoughtful and kind. I'm so appreciative of her guidance with my pup. ♥️

Love this place ! Great place to take your doggies while going away on vacation, or if you just need help for the day.

Our first experience with daycare was good. We took our then 8 month old pit for 4 days of boarding. We asked to have her supervised closely, she has had major hip and leg reconstruction done prior to us adopting her. When we picked her up we noticed her rear paw was torn open and her eye was goopy. We took her to the vet and had her paw and eye treated. She also got kennel cough from her visit. When I called about this they made excuses and tried to justify her injuries. Since K9 has fairly good reviews we decided to give them another chance with a day at daycare. When we picked up our puppy she had 20+ puncture wounds on her body. When I called to ask what had happened the person we spoke to said they would review video. When she returned my call she said it was "mutual rough play". My girl is a rough player but that kind of play should not be permitted, causing injury. My dogs demeanor towards other dogs has changed since her daycare visit. I asked for video so I can watch her day and see what has caused her change in behavior. I was sent a 15 minute clip and told the video couldn't be sent in its entirety. I wanted to see the video so we could work with a trainer to improve my girls new behavior challenges. They did ask repeatedly if I had to go to a vet and mentioned she didn't appear hurt. Well the breed is known for a high pain tolerance. I would have appreciated more of an effort and ownership of what happened rather than excuses and justification Pictures of a wiggly puppy are hard to get. These type of cuts were all over her head, legs and two on torso.

Last minute vacation plans. The kennel we thought we would go to, was full. Thank goodness lol. Things happen for a reason. We checked this place out. It was so much bigger than we saw from the road. We were pleasantly surprised. So clean. So much room. Busy people dealing with so many aspects of dog keeping. We have a bully breed dog. We were so nervous. Being nervous was a waste of our time. They acclimated him to a group of dogs. He had a blast interacting with other dogs. Today was a trial run. This weekend he will go there for four days.

Our pup Carmela lives going to daycare and boarding! It’s sweet to see her so happy and with all the other pups, plus plenty of outdoor space. The team is always so sweet and welcoming, and their communication is so easy and fast!

The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. My puppy loved the socialization at the beginning of class.

We have always had great experiences at k9. Our dogs are happy to stay, and happy and tired when we pick them up ????. We look forward to training experiences with our new family member!

K9 is the best! They genuinely care about my dogs well being, and my dog is always happy & tired when I pick him up! They get to play with dogs in an open space for the entire time they are there. Thank you K9, I really appreciate the wonderful service you provide!

Communication is poor and unwilling to work with us. We went in for an assessment for training and they didn’t explain that there is ZERO wiggle room in what they recommend. The only thing we didn’t want was to board her overnight……I spoke with many people and no one could explain why just that they don’t budge. Their quote was $2,800 I guess they don’t want it. I’ll take it elsewhere.

Everyone is so helpful with all of my questions (and there are many) very happy with the progression of my dog ???? and me...what a difference in my boy.. and he LOVES IT THERE...

My dog Bentley has been going to K9 for about 8 years? He’s been boarded, he goes to day care regularly and he’s been groomed there also. All services have been exceptional. Bentley loves going to K9 and I have a peace of mind when I go on vacation because I know he’s in good hands, even longer term. I’ve also used their trainers for Bentley and it’s been a game changer for me and him. I highly recommend! I love the friendly staff and so does Bentley. They take care of him like I do. ????????

These folks definitely know what they’re doing! Fantastic approach and I’m super picky of who even touches my dog. Their philosophy is solid.

We love the convenience of the the K9 Activity club. The two times we have used the facility the dogs always return home relaxed and happy. My problem with the facility is communicating. It is hard to get them to answer phones or confirm your request. Also, we checked our dogs in at 2 pm. We asked the girl if we returned at two pm three days later would there be a late fee . She told us 2 pm to 2 pm would be perfect no additional fees. Will that is not true. You need to pick your pets up by noon or you will be charge a late fee. They never told us that over the phone. The girl at the desk acted like she knew what was going going on. Clearly she didn’t.

We started with a timid, shy, feral rescue dog and now have an adventurous, friendly, engaging member of the pack. K-9 trainer Sophie and team were supportive in showing me how to help our dog feel safe and comfortable while learning important tools such a down holds (Jenna can hold a down for almost an hour!) and recall. We can talk walks in the community and Jenna isn’t fearful; she enjoys the adventure now. Thank you Team K-9. We will be back for more. ????

Seem attentive to and experienced with dogs. My dog loved his play time. Pickup a little chaotic at 4pm: everyone there at the same time and not enough parking spots.

Good place for puppers to get together

I felt very comfortable in the beginning when Alicia spoke to me on the phone describing the club’s services. It was nice to get a free day before we were going to board him for the weekend. Love that they do a report card so I could see during the day how he was doing.

Loved the puppy social… was my pups first opportunity to play with others and he had a tail-wagging great time!

The most wonderful and loving people. I had two surgeries and had to leave my young dog at K9 for extended periods and they loved her and she was so happy. Thank you to all of those at K9! I appreciate you so much!

Currently my dog ace has been going to day school and he comes home such a happy and tired dog. Everyone is very friendly and answers all my questions , I can’t wait to go to training with him soon!

I am new to Sonoma County so I was nervous about where to house my two dogs when I need to be out of town. My fabulous new veterinarian friends at Northtown Animal Hospital referred me to K9 AC and my dogs have been well cared for and come home happy and healthy. The staff at K9AC is so personable and caring that I feel confident that my two babies will be safe and happy. Thank you K9 Activity Club! ♥️

So happy to have found this place for all Manchester’s needs! He loved his week here. Everything is so well-maintained and organized… Very professional and I feel so safe with him being there.

My dig loves coming here to play with all her friends. When i pick her up she comes home eats her dinner and puts herself to bed. She is so happy when i drop her off.

Emma seems very comfortable but i had concerns about how much she ate. Left message and soon was called to address all my questions. Person read from notes taken each day. Much appreciated
