Love this place they are always nice and polite

Very helpful and comforting staff. Helped me step by step with appointments and paperwork to get my dog to Hawaii! I highly recommend this place for all pet owners who love their pets.

I had trouble getting an appointment with my Vet so started calling around. Dr. Thiessen's wife said bring your dog in at 4:00. He is old school, very kind to dogs and people just a sweet man. He charged me 38.00 less than my regular Vet for the cytopoint shot. Guess who is my new vet? Staff was so kind and helpful too!

Great Vet! Very sensitive, and caring!! I had to have my 18.5 yr. old cat put to sleep due to being in organ failure. She was an exotic breed. (ORCUTT PET HOSPITAL REFUSED TO HELP US AND PUT HER OUT OF HER PAIN/MISERY...THEY DON'T TREAT EXOTIC BREEDS. NEVERMIND DHE WAS SCREAMING IN PAIN AT 10:45 PM on a Friday night). Dr. Leon of Santa Maria Animal Hospital was there to take great care of her and let her calmly ???? away...no more pain.. I recommend them to everyone ????

I’ve never been here but I read a comment from one client that said dog was hit by a car and they took their pet to your facility but you were closed. To my understanding a facility that calls themselves a hospital should be open 24 hours. So with that said you should change your name Without the word hospital. That is very deceiving to some people.

Went here to pick up some medicine for my roommate's dog. The vet was a little strange but my roommate has been coming here forever so there must be something good about it

I've been bringing my dogs to doctor thiessen's ever since he diagnosed my doberman with tetanus. He did it by just looking at them and had I taken him their first he would have probably lived to a ripe old age instead of dying by the time he was three. dog did everything he could but it was too late for more than 6 months additional life. But it was a good six months then I took my mom's Pitbull to him. He had been to his vet three times and they gave him antibiotics for what they called an ear infection. Doc looks in the air said one eardrum was broken all the way through the other one was on the verge of it. And we waited just one more day mom's dog would have probably been deaf. He had surgery immediately and came through with flying colors. Does this happen on more than two occasions with my family and I just absolutely don't want anyone but doctor thiessen taking care of my babies. Doc your staff and wife are amazing compassionate understanding yet firm. I really like that. You really don't know how good of it you really are. I would give you a 10plus.

would leave zero stars if i could, had to put my dog down it took them 4 tries to do it and they said “this usually doesn’t happen” worst experience of my life. extremely uncaring about it and unprofessional, will never go back there

Dr. Thiessen is the best in the business! This place has taken care of my families dogs for years!! Well worth every penny. The staff up front is always nice as well.

So it was my first time there and I got the vibe of no care towards my dog of 11 years . She has a super hard tumor the size of baseball ,been throwing up but they just seemed to want the 65$ for an examine and they lagged .
