She was very kind and helpful with our senior kitty whose time had come. She explained what was happening and what our options were. Would absolutely recommend, especially for euthanasia.

Dr. Maria was so kind and caring. Our old dog, Penny was totally at ease with her from the first moment. Such a sweet experience in spite of sadness. I really recommend her services.

Dr. Kuty is a very kind, patient and compassionate person, and obviously a huge animal lover. Unfortunately, I recently had to let my sweet cat go due to illness. Dr. Kuty helped me through every step of the process., as I was a mess. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing help with their pets

Thank God for Maria Kuty. She is truly an angel who I was lucky enough to find during one of the most difficult times in my life. The strength and compassion it takes to deliver the level of care she provided for my Oso girl and my family requires a true gift. Oso was diagnosed with end-stage stomach cancer at the age of 7. After four different vet opinions, including UC Davis, I had to accept the reality that there was nothing more I could do for my baby girl. Knowing that Oso was in relentless pain and the quality of her life would never return, choosing to help her with the end was the most heart-wrenching decision I've ever had to make. Finding the right veterinarian to assist in this process was a decision of faith. I had been referred to other housecall vets by friends and family, but none of them felt right in my heart. I found Maria Kuty after scouring through dozens of other reviews on google and yelp, and as soon as I found her, it just felt right. She was able to accommodate us just hours after my initial phone call (which was a scary feeling, but also one of great relief). When Maria arrived at our house on a cold February morning, she brought a presence of calm, comfort and empathy. This helped Oso remain relaxed, as well as myself and my daughter. She took plenty of time and sensitivity in explaining the process and answering all of my questions and concerns. Oso chose to lay down in the garden when she was ready, and Maria allowed us ample alone time before the injections, in between the injections, and afterwards. It was honestly the most peaceful experience I could have asked for. I could tell that the process was not painful or scary for Oso as she drifted off into a deep sleep, in my arms, leaving behind all of the pain from this awful disease, forever. The grace and compassion that Maria brought for us that day was a gift. The cremation service that Maria chooses to partner with is probably the best one available in Santa Cruz/Santa Clara counties. That is also an added comfort in such an emotionally grueling time. Maria even brought Oso back to me after her cremation, with the box lovingly swaddled in a basket. The extra lengths that Maria goes to, to bring peace and comfort during such a sad time, is extraordinarily remarkable. She truly is an angel, and I can't thank her enough! Thank you, Maria!! From the bottom of our hearts!! XOXO

When it became obvious that our beloved cat was near death, we contacted Dr. Kuty to perform in-home euthanasia. Our sweet Gemini brought us 18 years of joy - we miss her so much! We are so thankful to Dr. Kuty for facilitating Gemini's peaceful passing in her own home surrounded by her family. Dr. Kuty was incredibly kind, compassionate and so thoughtful. We very highly recommend her.

Dealing with end of life for a loved pet is sad and difficult for everyone. I'm writing this review months after Dr. Kuty helped me with our dog, and after a few years back doing the same with our cat. It took a while to be able to choose to remember it directly. I can't begin to thank her for the service she provided. For hospice and end of life for your pet, I highly recommend her.

My almost-19 year old cat was at the endstage of kidney disease, and when she took a turn for the worse yesterday, I knew it was time to let her go peacefully. I did not, however, want to stress my cat out by taking her to her vet for last …

Dr. Kuty was compassionate and kind today as I put down my beloved kitty. It's such a difficult moment to say good-bye to a dear companion, but Dr. Kuty could not have been more professional and sweet at the same time. Thank you, Dr. Kuty.

We feel very lucky to have found Dr. Kuty. Scruff, our big mixed-breed dog, will soon be 16 years old, so outings to the vet are not his idea of a good day. Maria has made our lives so much easier, and Scruff is now actually enjoying his …
