Went for vaccination clinic. Had to make an appointment but very fast. Checked in, weighed the pup, and they took him back for shots and then back out. Maybe bout 10 mins.

Saying goodbye to a fur baby is the hardest thing a pet parent will ever do. My Winston crossed the bridge Sunday 4/25. He declined rapidly and I had to find a place quickly on a Sunday. SAH was recommended by a pet group on Facebook. They were so compassionate. They were patient with me when I called, a crying hysterical mess. I asked if the paperwork could be emailed ahead of time which they did so I didn't have to think about that when I arrived. I was escorted into a private room to be with my guy as long as I needed. They covered the metal exam table with a fluffy cloth. Very thoughtful. I brought my guy in wearing my tee and in his bed. They were perfectly fine with that. Everything was gentle and kind. Even the bandage around his IV had a heart on it. My man crossed in the most gentle and humane way. Even after, he was treated gently with respect. It sucks price has to be considered. In this post covid time, its a reality for many of us. SAH was very reasonable. Much less than almost any other place in SCV. And its open on Sundays until midnight. It broke my heart to let my man go. The amazing staff, from the receptionist to the Vet Tech to the Doctor, were wonderful. My little man's crossing was entrusted to the right people.

Just move into town, had an emergency with my dog and they where the only ones to fit me in. Very friendly staff.

We put our pup to rest. They were very compassionate and gave him 2 plates of treats.

We love Saugus Animal hospital. We have been taking our boys ( 2 mini dachshunds) here since they were puppies. So about 12 years now.

Great vet, but check the prescription prices elsewhere before you buy (walmart stocks most of the same medicines)

My experience with Dr Laura was excellent. She is very knowledgeable (after referring me to a specialist, he said to follow her guidelines because they were right to begin with), listens to you, and truly cares. I am glad I found her after many years trying different vets in SCV that often left my animals in worse condition than what they came in for. It's really simple, all I want is a vet that cares for my animals, and makes them feel better because they know what they are doing. No unnecessary tests and other rip-offs. She helped my dog and I am grateful. My new puppy is, of course, going to be her client too!

Wasn’t satisfied with level of care. Called ahead for an allergy shot for a puppy and they said sure bring her in. Would have preferred if they told me ahead of time that isn’t possible for a puppy instead of wasting money on a visit and shampoo medication that didn’t work. Also was unhappy that they didn’t test urine to see what the dog had before giving medication for a uti on a puppy. They don’t really ask questions or sit down and talk with you properly. I ended up going to a different vet after they were much more thorough and upfront. I already knew my dog had allergies before I went to either vet. Worked out on a plan and test with them instead. A vet should take time with their pets and owners. Didn’t really feel like issues were address properly at all. I have been to a lot of vets from moving around a lot and have another dog who is 15. I expect more. I’m giving two stars because despite the vet being subpar the rest of the staff was nice.

We had to put our precious little dog to sleep, I made an appointment, and everyone there was so compassionate and thoughtful. They took care of us as well as our pet, explained everything, treated her with love, and gave us time with her afterward. They have always taken excellent care of her...and certainly did at this time of sadness.

They had us pay for an unnecessary surgery for out bulldog. Over $800 later we found out that her issue could have been treated with antibiotics.

I like the vetinarians at Saugus Animal Hospital. The location is easy to get to. I'm just always shocked at how much the blood work costs.

The staff and doctor were AMAZING. I was nervous going in there because my pup gets very anxious and can be a handful at the vet. She was extra crazy today but the staff was so helpful and I felt like we were good hands even though our dog presented a major challenge. Dr. Chung was calm and patient with us, I felt open to asking question and he provided in-depth answers. I would highly recommend and I am thankful for welcoming environment this place provided.

I'd been meaning to write a review since late December and after another visit this week, I was reminded how awesome this place is! Dr. Brogan and the entire staff at Saugus Animal Hospital are simply wonderful. Our 12 year old pup needed enucleation of her left eye in December and my husband and I were a wreck. They kept us updated through every stage of her surgery and made us feel like the only patients on the docket that day. I am confused by the negative reviews, but I guess you can't please everyone! I would not hesitate to bring my fur baby back, and actually have! Thank you, Dr. Brogan and team!

Really nice and compassionate. Dr Laura is very thorough and know what she is talking about. My pets are my babies and I am more than comfortable bringing them here.
