Nice staff. They take their time to answer your questions. My two dogs had a really good time here.

Took my little dog here after she was bit by a rattlesnake. They took her in and were able to treat her right away. She is recovering very well.

They are always very helpful and I can tell they actually care about my cat and my dog.. they are both patients there :)

Called requesting an emergency appointment for my sick cat. Was told none available for a week! They need to hire another vet to accommodate urgent cases.

We are so grateful to the staff at Sand Canyon Animal Hospital. Our little shih tzu was mauled by a rottweiler. They immediately took him in, performed surgery & we believe, saved his life. Even though they close at 5:00 p.m., they stayed with him well after closing time. They have been responsive, professional, generous with their time and extremely caring during, and throughout, his ordeal. I can't say enough nice things about this place.

I've been taking my dog here for 2 years mostly for routine exams/vaccines and prescriptions. I just called to take an appointment and after I gave the receptionist his name and she found the file, she put me on hold and came back saying that they don't have any appointments available and she'll be happy to email his medical records and I take him somewhere else. I did not ask for an emergency appointment or anything like that just when they had availability to which she rudely responded they don't have availability and I should take my dog somewhere else. They are by no means great or compassionate animal care givers but I used them for routine things since they are close to my home. Do not recommend them.

Didn't get past the voice mail. Their message was they were booked thru the following week but leave a message if you want to schedule an appointment.

Not taking ANY new clients. My cat had blood in his stool and is clearly in need of help, this vet DOES NOT CARE.

I can't give them enough thanks, they saved my dogs life when she was attacked by a coyote and almost died. All the people there were wonderful helpful and very very caring. I don't go anywhere else for all my pets I love.

Recently moved to Santa Clarita and found this animal hospital to take our dog. Excellent service and care. Highly recommend.

We found an issue with our dog that I thought needed to be seen ASAP. So I called Sand canyon animal hospital and they were able to get me in within minutes. They bent over backwards to make sure I was able to get it and see the vet. It was truly awesome. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. Great job!

They will run every test under the sun without resolution or progress. The vet swore our dogs issue was her back and did xrays and cortisone shot...did nothing. was actually seizure that she needed phenobarbital for. took her elsewhere and in one visit showing the same video the vet knew it was neurological and not a back issue. Beware, they're thieves. Would not recommend.

The faculty are so nice and helpful! Love them!

Avoid this place if you can. The staff was rude and lack compassion.

The veterinarian gave me a quote for surgery My dog needs, He was a thousand dollars higher than the prices I got from 3 other pet hospitals...

Dr. Bassi and his staff are truly caring for both animal and human alike. You don't wait long if you have an appointment. On arrival your will be accommodated and oriented away from other animals coming and going. The facilities are first rate always cleaned and most procedures including X Ray are in house. You can even get a basic blood panel while waiting. They understand your desire to see your pets and be involved. There is no scary behind doors mystery. I had 2 Dalmatians that were cared for there. Dr. Bassi and his staff prolonged the life of my "Faithy" for almost a year comfortably with his knowledge of pharma and kindness. The other died of a slower genetic spinal disease at the age of 13. I have a new 100 lb Dalmatian named Charles! He's got more energy than the 4 before him combined and is a big goof. The only problem is I suspect he's part alligator. He's chews on EVERYTHING! Over the years I've seen many businesses come and go in this shopping center. I try to support local businesses. Unfortunately due to Covid this vet is not accepting new pets, thankfully there are other vets in the valley.

Whenever I use the Sand Canyon 76 driveway to leave Von's the idiot 900913 robots think I went to a vet clinic that I do pass. Clue for AI: If I don't stop for at least a minute I didn't actually visit. Adjust yr Al Gore Rhythm accordingly.

Love Dr. Bassi, he is an honest and caring vet. I’m so grateful that he opened his practice next to my home. It was frustrating to drive all the way to Valencia 24/hr hospital.

Don't advertise as a "hospital" if you're closed on Sundays

I took my Basset Hound to see Dr. Bassi because he had a lump in his neck. I had never been here before but was referred by a vet friend. They were able to see us right away and the staff was kind and attentive. We were given a clear breakdown of possible outcomes and treatment along with pricing. Dr. Bassi was friendly and took his time examining my boy. We received our biopsy results quickly and thankfully the lump was benign. I would recommend Sand Canyon Animal Hospital to anyone who is looking for a clean, professional vet and we will be going back again.
