Love the cut! Our dog was given a bath, nail trimming, and a grooming. The grooming turned out fantastic. My wife thinks our pup is super cute and we'll definitely be back. We have mini aussie and it can be hard to find a place that does really well with their coat but this place was perfect. That all being said, I dropped a star because the communication difficulties. I called for an appointment but no answer so I left a voice mail and it took two or three days for a call back. Then when I arrived, there was a sign on the door to not come in but call them to let them know you were there. They answered and the check-in went smoothly. They said our dog would be ready between 12:30pm-1pm and that they would call me. I didn't hear anything so I called at 1:40pm. I called 3 times over the course of 20 minutes and no answer. So I showed up in person. They had someone at the door and I asked them about my dog. They said she was ready and brought her right out. Kinda frustrating that I had to show up to find out. Anyways, I still really like the place and will be back.

I took two of my cats for a bath and grooming. They said all they do is a lion cut, which was not menyioned when I fixed the appointment a month ago. And I was told that they would trimnaround the mane and the belly because I didn't want them to get a lion cut. But when I got them, they only took a bath and their nails were trimmed.

I normally take my dog to the Santa Cruz ShamPooches so I figured they would be good, and they have a good review. I brought my dog in today, they ended up making a big cut on the front right shoulder and about an inch and 1/2 razor burn on his tail and he’s acting as if he was traumatized and they are much more expensive then the Santa Cruz ShamPooches

"Walk in" (we actually had to sit in our car cause Covid) to get our cats nails trimmed. The girl came out to get our little guy, and it only took her about ten minutes. His nails were trimmed nicely, and the girl was very nice. Will visit again.

This shop is the BEST!! The owners are very knowledgeable. The groomers are very good and professional. They do a lot of dogs and even do cats!! Bring your pet to ShamPooches!!!!

My dog Walker won't let us trim his nails and would only let Jessie at Shampooches. She is very caring and gentle. I totally recommend Shampooches.

Excellent service at a fair price :) Highly recommend going here. They do a great job and are always on time. Also, they are very attentive and took excellent care of my dog (putting supplied eye gel in eyes) while giving him a haircut/shower when I told them he recently had eye surgery. My dog looks so much younger and cuter when I pick him up after a haircut and bath from here ????

This people are extremely professional. I came in and they had all the information they need about my dog. They have their very own system and they personalized the visit to every single customer. The BEST PART: my dog seems to be really excited about her new grooming.

Mary, who runs the place, is very nice. They have been grooming my dogs for years and have always been very kind and accommodating.

I've been taking our dogs here for years. They always take good care of my poodles and Bichon's. Wish they accepted other forms of payment though.

Used the self service dog wash, which was great. My dog doesn't love getting washed, but this was much more tolerable to him than anything I can do on my own. While I was there, as it's just before the holidays, a steady stream of clients and thank you gifts for the staff turned up. It's clear this place is well loved by customers.

Fantastic place.... Very nice people and very knowledgeable!! Not knowing, my old groomer advice me to cut my Golden Retriever’s fur as a Schnauzer to avoid the summer heat but he did wrong. I learned now, thanks to the Shampooches specialist, that it is important to keep the under-coat protected with the over-coat to avoid skin diseases on Golden Retrievers. So, what they did?...they thin out the under-coat fur excess leaving the over-coat fur grow naturally again. They solve the heat problem that my dog suffered and at the same time she recovered her original Golden Retriever look. I’m very happy...and so is Duna (my dog). Thank very much! Five stars... no doubt!!

We are long time customers (over 10 years) and Shampooches is great! They are good with small dogs and big dogs and we have both. Very friendly and good at what they do. We are very pleased with their service.

always do a great job on my golden retriever. I moved away from San Ramon but I still go back to Shampooches for my dog grooming service. People are very nice there.

I brought my little fluff ball in for a quick mani/pedi and butt massage. (That's what the missus calls claw clipping and anal sac expression). They do a great job and fairly quickly. What completely won me over was when my lil pup came out with a fancy bandana because she was a good puppy. What a way to win over your customers! :-) I usually try to come in during the morning hours because they will be fully booked for most of the day, which is generally a good sign that they know how to retain their customers. FYI, cash only.
