Best vet service I ever had! I needed to relocate my rabbit to Spain, and THEY figured out all the requirements and paperwork that was needed, even called the relevant government agency to be 100% sure, THEY timed my appointment to make sure it was within the right timeframe and THEY organized whatever had to be done within the same appointment so I only had to go once to get everything done. Basically they made a very daunting process seem like a breeze. I had a bunch of phone calls with the clinic and everyone was always super friendly and professional. Highly recommend. Side note, I had also called a different clinic specialized in exotic animals (rabbits are considered exotic animals) and they were much less professional and totally unhelpful in comparison.

Had such a great experience here! The staff are pleasant and caring and deliver a consistent level of helpfulness, efficiency, and customer service. It's obvious that their priority is helping your pet as they were able to work us in on short notice. Will keep coming back and will also recommend their clinic to our friends and family.

Recently my dog Nash had a fox tail in his paw. I took him in and the staff there was so kind and loving both him and me. They took care of Nash and after I took him home they called and checked up on him daily and were so courteous and friendly and kind and caring. This is the only place I would take any of my animals and a matter of fact it is the only place I take my animals to. I also have a cat named Buttercup who frequently visits there for shots and necessary visits. If you were looking for a veterinarian to care for your animals with over and above care and expertise, this is the place to go!

The staff here went above and beyond for my nacho kitty. I had to bring him back twice and the Dr and all the assistants were so helpful and explained everything to me and made sure that I totally understood my take home instructions. They have a number to text and talk to the Dr which of very helpful. I love this place. I would recommend it to anyone that wants their fur baby in the best possible care. Thanks you guys

If you are searching for a vet that really cares about your animals, I highly recommend Dr. Markoff and Dr. Evans at Animal Care Clinic - SLO. Although we had to say good-bye to one of our dogs, we're grateful to Dr. Markoff for keeping him alive as long as she did. Dr. Evans has been successful in controlling our dog, Kimo's seizures. Figuring out which medications and dosages was no easy task. Additionally, Dr. Evans has helped put a spring back in the step of our 14 year old little dog, Lani.

My dog is my whole world. Thus, I did not take the decision of who their vet would be lightly. We have visited a vast number of vets from Nipomo all the way to SLO over the last ten years for all three of our pets. All have been satisfying and often absolutely wonderful. However, Animal Care Clinic is on its own level. We stumbled upon ACC by chance. My dog was having a crazy case of Pancreatitis. He wouldn't get up to eat/drink/go on a walk, leaving me scared and stressed with how to help him since I had no idea what was going on. I called our primary vet explained the severity and they couldn't get me in that day. I called our backup vet and they had no availability. Finally I just drove to ACC (where I had never been) with my sick dog and they MADE TIME FOR HIM right then knowing that it was imperative he receive treatment as soon as possible. Not only did my dog get immediate treatment for this emergency, afterwards Dr. Barber called every couple days for over a week to check on him. She sent detailed hand written notes home with us for how to make his recovery the most successful. Since then, we have brought all of our pets to ACC and have made Dr. Barber our primary vet. We feel comfortable with her and trust her. As amazing as Dr. Barber is, she isn't alone. It is the entire team (S/O to Karla and Kate) that make you feel comfortable and as if you were apart of the family. The team clearly talks you through the cost of everything before proceeding so you aren't stuck with a giant surprise bill at the end of your visit. I appreciate the transparency. Quick Summary: In my opinion, after visiting many vets, I can confidently say Animal Care Clinic is the best veterinary team on the Central Coast.

We had to have some dental work on our cat, the staff was very friendly, informative and helpful, they explained everything that they were going to do and when the work was done they called us and informed us and how it went, we are glad we took our cat to the animal care clinic.

Everyone I’ve encountered that works here makes me feel comfortable and heard about my concerns and questions about my dog. He has a bad ear infection and on my first visit I couldn’t have felt more appreciative of their attentiveness. Dr. Barber is very knowledgeable and kind

The staff does really well with delicate dogs and animals. They give you lots of objective information and estimates. It's a little slower due to Corona but atleast you won't go home and get corona from people touching your dog. Also please bring old leashes collars or food because there's a community bin for the homeless and people who are having a hard time financially supporting their dog. I left some food and leashes I hope someone gets use for it

This place came highly recommended and I had really high expectations. I have a service animal and wanted to make sure they had experience with working dogs. Which they did. When I made our initial appointment, they made a really big deal about my bringing my dog's records ahead of her appointment so that they could review them prior to our appointment. Once we got there, we had to wait about 45 minutes, which wasn't a huge deal because we had the last appointment of the day. What was disappointing was that it quickly became apparent that they had not read my dog's medical records and were asking all these questions that were noted on her paperwork. I had some questions which I was told the vet would be calling me back with some answers, but she never did. There were treats everywhere for the dogs and coffee and tea for the humans. I am all for treats for dogs, but I didn't appreciate that they were out in the lobby for anyone to grab since my working dog does not get food rewards. She was simply more distracted in an already difficult situation for her... and while the vet was great with my dog, the fact that the customer service side of it wasn't so great, I am not sure we will be going back.

Animal Care Clinic is a professional, very compassionate, and overall wonderful practice. I've taken both my cat and dog here, and both of them have received incredible care. Their fear free techniques are awesome - my big babies aren't afraid to go to the vet anymore. The staff are direct and upfront with any additional procedures or charges and offer alternatives just in case, which anyone who has paid a vet bill knows is very helpful. We've seen Drs Evans, Tao, and Meusel - they're all wonderful and very kind. Everyone else - Natalie, Karla, Jasmin, Anvay, Henry, Gustavo, and anyone else I may have forgotten who has cared for my babies - are all truly lovely people and fantastic assets to the practice. The kindness, professionalism, and level of care here are top notch - I won't be taking my pets anywhere else.

This is one of most caring vet offices I've ever encountered. They suggest options for both the well being of your pet and affordability. They have always made time when it was urgent that my pet be seen. I love that if the phone lines are busy and you can't get through, their message says if you think it's an emergency, just come in. Amazing service! Highly recommend.

Take great care of my kitty, Baboo!!

Love this place. They take such great care of our furry babies! I also like the gatherings they have and being able to give my little Pup a bath in their standing tub for only $15! You get to use their shampoo and hair dryer and not get your own bathtub and bathroom all messed up. Plus my doggy runs around rubbing the floor and furniture after a bath so it saves me the cleanup at my place. I take all 3 of mine for shots and check ups and they give us one room so it’s super convenient and having the 3 of them all together calms their nerves. Great place to go to obedience training for your doggies as well. I totally recommend this place! They’ve been really good to all of my animals.

They do great work here, from routine check -ups to surgical procedures. Understanding , helpful staff. They also have board and care facilities.
