Apparently I can't write my review to warn other people. So I will have to include my review in the pictures. If they put a character limit to reviews that says something doesn't it? I had a terrible experience with VCA the doctor as well as the staff scammed me of over $1,000! They got paid so much to do certain things and they didn't do anything and denied it all. They were happy to take my money though. Pleas view the pictures to read the real review. VCA don't send text messages if you're going to deny things later on. Own up to your terrible mistakes instead of trying to blame the customers.

We've had a family of older pets through the pandemic. While we've suffered the loss of two of them during this time, throughout, the VCA team has always been extraordinarily kind and professional in what I'm sure have been extremely challenging circumstances. A big thank you to everyone there for helping to keep the rest of the world running by providing needed care.

If I could give VCA Lewelling 6 stars I would. Recently we had to put down our beautiful loving dog. We live in Newark and looked for somewhere closer to us that could accommodate us. Our little buddy was in severe pain and his quality of life was atrocious so waiting wasn't an option. We called everywhere and VCA Lewelling was the only place that would "squeeze" us in so long as we could be patient once we arrived. Our little buddy was loved and I can't tell you how hard this process was for us but the whole staff at VCA Lewelling and in particular Dr Lew were just amazing. Dr Lew was very warm, empathetic and walked us through the process. He treated us as if our little guy was his very own. Long story short I have nothing but accolades for the whole staff. Despite the fact that they are much further from us than other pet hospitals this will be our go to from now on. Big thank you to VCA Lewelling for helping us take our little buddy to the Rainbow Bridge

This was my first experience with my two dogs. I am pleased with the friendliness of the staff. During this covid-19 I have yet to meet in person. They have kept me up-to date through email and phone when I am sitting in the parking lot.

I dropped my dog off at 9:30am for a wellness exam and two vaccines. They said he'd be ready in a couple of hours. I called in at 2.5 hrs And they said he wasn't ready. Finally four and a half hours later I told them I had to pick the dog up. And none of the requested services have been done. Very disappointed, a waste of time and money!

Don't know what happened. This was the best place for customer service and now we have to remind the staff we are waiting here to pick up our fur babies ( over 45 minute wait time in car to pick up when all fees were paid ahead of time over the phone hours before we arrive/ plus told our babe was already ready for pick up ) when they say they will remind the technicians. Have a strong feeling it is not the technicians fault..... Update: finally got home. we paid for a wellness exam as well as some regular vaccine boosters that are on our receipt, but on same receipt it recommends another wellness cause I'm " overdue" for it. Again not believing this is the technicians fault, but whoever is messing up is giving this once highly rated hospital the worst name cause they are trying to give me more reasons to call and complain ( not that I want to call a 5th time today)

VCA Lewelling is an amazing team of vets, techs and office support staff. Dr. Morris is very attentive, professional and knowledgeable in diagnosing and treating several complicated issues with our many pets. All of the doctors have been very patient and informative with all of my questions. The support staff always goes above and beyond in helping us to get our pets seen when they need to be, and quickly attending to medication, procedural and follow up requests. They are always courteous and professional even when they are extremely busy which is very much appreciated. During the pandemic they have done their best to keep things running as smoothly as possible while keeping everyone safe. Thank you Dr.Morris, Dr.Lew and Dr. Beck and all staff for your continued care of our furry family!!

Sent my daughter here for her sick cat. Even though busy, they took her cat right away as a new patient, as she had an emergency situation. I'm in Oregon with VCA Rock Creek. Before I moved here, I was with VCA Mission S.J. Hosp Fremont for many years.

They listen, they offer you the best options for payment of services. The dotor and his staff kept me informed of my dog's treatment plan and gave me options. It was my dog's first vet visit. He was nervous and they took very good care of him.

I am a fan. Really friendly and efficient frontline team and Dr Morris has been fantastic to deal with. I have an elderly (14+) beagle with deteriorating mobility, virtually blind and deaf. Decisions have to be made in the short term and I feel I am in really good hands. Short term experience but I feel really comfortable writing this review.

Very unsatisfied with this location.????Lack of communication, start charging exams without your consent, and then says there’s a fee for something you never came in for and still couldn’t help me with something as simple as a nail trim. I wouldn’t take my animal back here if my life depended on it and it said they would even try to charge you before you agree. As well as being here for an hour just for the nail trim .. yea no words. Save your Pet,Money and time.Horrible experience overall. My 11 month old puppy look traumatized ????????♀️

The doctor was helpful but the reception staff was not. They held on to my puppy for a long time and I had to call back a couple of times just to get an update. When we got there we had to wait another hour just to get her back even when they had said she was ready. They also have a lot of extra charges so make sure to ask for an accurate estimate !

My dog needed a refill prescription for Apaquel (itch relief) but they are to busy to see him said it would be 25 days. I can't let him suffer like that for that long. It's just a racket to take your money... . I

Feel pretty good bringing my animals to VCA. During Covid they have a good system of coming to your car based on the # spot you are in but they have been a little slow on the return as they are (probably) not staffed at 100%

Called and spoke to the tech,explained why My dog needed an appointment ,was told No problem bring her in.waited 2 + hours In The parking lot ,the tech came out and told me they couldn't help us ,she wasn't in bad enough condition.i turned down other appointment because they agreed to see her when speaking to them on the phone. They couldn't have cared less.find another Vet is my advice.

Long post but worth the read... I have worked in Animal Welfare for the past 8 years (in constant communication with lots of different vet clinics) and I am very pleased with the service that I received from VCA Lewelling staff and from Dr. Beck and Dr. Morris. I mainly saw Dr. Beck while in the office. She is the kind of vet that will get down on the floor with you and your dog and be very gentle with them when they are nervous. She is well educated and will make sure that you understand your animals health and current situation by putting things into terms anyone can understand. She doesn't push unnecessary treatment on your animal just to make money off of you. She is also pretty accessible via text which is AMAZING because I can communicate with her while she is in the office and not have to go in for another exam and take my ill pet into a situation where he gets very nervous. She even follows up via text to see how my dog is doing and gives feedback on what I can do to help my pet feel his best. I was worried about moving away from my old primary vet who I worked closely with for the senior dogs at my job as well as my own personal dogs but Dr. Beck and VCA Lewelling staff make me feel like I still have that close connection and rapport which puts my mind at ease. Dr. Beck and Dr. Morris converse about their patients regularly and so when Dr. Beck was out of the office Dr. Morris was up to speed on my dog's situation and ready to help which was great! I would recommend Dr. Beck, Dr. Morris, and VCA Lewelling to any of my neighbors who are looking for quality vet care. :)

We brought our Tess there but she didn’t make it on time. The staff are very helpful and help us through the grieving process. They even sent a card to the family... Thank you all! You’re all awesome
