I took my dog and 2 cats to this vet for 4 years. The vets took little to no interest in my concerns about my pets. They would often do the bare minimum and try to find ways to charge you for as many services as possible. I never believed that anyone there actually cared about my pets. They just wanted to get through the appointments and get paid. I've since switched vets.

I have taken my dogs here since mid 2021 since the old vet was too far now. In 4 visits that I have been here I have bounced between liking this vet to hating him. While I don't have any reason to doubt his medical competence based on my experience, I have realized that the vet here has an attitude that I dont appreciate. He doesn't say much and doesnt like questions. He relays messages through staff rather than coming and talking to you. He also has strange rules in place which treat you like a number. They have all sorts of games they play with you that serves them well but not customer. Also, the quote I got for last for dental cleaning is crazy high

I moved to California 6 months ago from Kentucky and came to Willow Glen Pet hospital because my dog was up for some vaccines. I was nervous because my dog is very anxious and has been aggressive with vets in the past but the vet tech and vet doctor were very patient with her and my dog seemed a lot less nervous than last time we were at the vet! I let Doctor Bock know I was interested in the buy 1 get 1 vaccine special and she went through all of the vaccine options with me and let me know which ones she thought my dog would absolutely need vs which were optional. Since I came from an area with higher rate of heart worm, she told me she’d recommend the test and followed up with the results. It was a positive first experience and I will be returning. Total bill came out to ~ $200 with the check up, vaccines, bordatella, and heart worm test.

Totally ripped me off. Said one price on the phone, and then added 30% when I arrived. Admitted the mistake was on their end and didn’t do anything to try to make it right. Wasted everyone’s time. Terrible customer service throughout the process. Avoid avoid avoid!!

Will rate negative if I could. Horrible hospital visit experience. Some staff members have extremely heavy perfume really frustrate my kitten. They are seriously trying to charge as much as they can for each treatment. Please dodge this vet for your own sake. Like

The staff here truly care about your animals. I feel safe about bringing my older cats here for their routine care. We had a teeth cleaning here 2 years ago as well, and the dental specialist at Animal Dental Clinic who did the major extractions on her complimented us on how clean her teeth were, which was all credit to Willow Glen Pet Hospital.

This place is great! The staff is super helpful and friendly. Pricing is very fair and quality and integrity of the dr is outstanding. I’ve had a few test done on here for my dog and X-rays for OFA to check her hip and elbows, everything went smooth. They made it relatively stress free for my pup.

Unprofessional and uncaring staff! I just called to cancel an appointment for my cat who passed away and was scolded by the person who answered the phone because I was transferred to the emergency line even though I selected option 2 which is the appointment line. How unprofessional! I just lost a member of my family and had to get scolded by a member of their staff for being transferred to the wrong line which was their mistake! Don't waste your time with this office. They don't care about you or your pet!

We truly appreciate the quality of care that our Chow, RJ, receives every time we bring him in. Dr. Gillon is very calm and thorough with his care and his explanations. The vet techs are kind and comforting when taking him from the car for treatment (COVID protocol). We have also had positive experiences with their other vets (Dr. Bock and Dr. Kim). The vets are not high pressure and explain our options, and there have been several times they have simply said, “Let’s wait a few days and see how he does, then go from there.” I never feel like they are trying to make more money by offering unnecessary tests or treatments which I have experienced at other places. We could not be happier with the quality of their care and compassion of their staff and we know all our friends who we have referred feel the same way! Thank you so much, Willow Glen Pet Hospital! I was going to be a new client, with a kitten. I was calling to get pricing and learn more about their services. The young lady kept on telling me they are limited in staffing (I understood that, I live in this world). She was very abrupt, and vague concerning pricing. Then said we don't give prices over phone, only to our clients. (It's like I am going to give you money, and you are going to treat me like this). VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I took my 10 week dachshund for his vaccines & first check-up. We weren't able to get in the vet's office because of COVID. The Vet techs are absolutely the sweetest. Our boy did not show any signs of being stressed after the vaccine.

Great service and very knowledgable staff. Lady on the phone left no ambiguity about the issue I called about and even ballparked a quote for a procedure with anesthesia. Will make this place my main vet from now on

So we found a stray cat who was very friendly and seemingly healthy. We wanted to take him in but we needed to have him vaccinated and tested for illness and worms before introducing him to our other 2 cats. He has no microchip, no collar, and is not neutered which would suggest that he is not someones cat. Still when we called to make an appointment, the lady said that we would have to put him in a shelter for 30 days to see if someone claims him before they can even look at him. I fail to see the logic in that. Very stupid policy. Will not be taking any of our pets here again.

I've only been for routine stuff, but it's been great. The prices are reasonable, the vet I spoke with seemed knowledgeable and thoughtful, and the techs and staff are all kind and responsive. I did have a slight concern about a lump after a rabies shot, and they were able to see me the same day. I told by a tech it was a common issue that should go away soon, which I appreciated. To my surprise, the vet actually called me to follow up the next day to ensure I didn't have any follow up questions or concerns, which was unexpectedly great. The place is small but efficient, clean, and there's plenty of parking most of the time. I would definitely come back for anything routine.

We took our cat here because we were concerned about unexpected weight loss among other negative signs, they told us he was fine multiple times, and then suddenly we have to take him to an emergency veterinary clinic and it ended up being $3000+ and a weekend of worry. I’m disappointed with Willow Glen Pet Hospital because they just didn’t seem to care about our concerns or acknowledge that something was wrong. I feel like it’s our fault he’s had to suffer when in reality, they didn’t do a thorough enough job figuring out what was wrong. On top of this, the veterinarian is often late to appointments and doesn’t seem to care. We will definitely be going to another vet after this...

They were very nice and able to accommodate my old man cat. Usually taking him to the vet is a horrible experience but he was surprisingly chill afterwards.

I have been going to this clinic for a year after having moved into the area. I take both my cat and dog to the clinic. The vet service is fine but the customer service is terribly lacking. I needed forms filled out for my animal to travel by plane and it was fairly urgent. The regular vet was out of the office and they had no appointments for the week with the relief vet. They made no attempt to make accommodations to help me with my situation. It was not so much that they did not have an appointment, that I can understand, but no attempt was made to see that I got these forms filled out in a timely manner. I will not be going back.

took one of my three new kitties to see them. We haven't had a regular vet for a while mainly because we haven't needed one, probably recently had adopted 3 animals in need and that created a need for one and I think we found one. I really liked the assistants their location is kind of funky place to find the first time but after that it's not difficult. Did that seem very comfortable and knowledgeable I'll be a very quiet but that's okay because the majority of the support work is done with his assistants and they're awesome. All in all I plan on staying with them for all four of our animals down and highly recommend them so give him a try let us know if this review helps you please like it that way I get the support of Google to continue reviewing.

I came here after my cat got sick and the assistants were very helpful and respectful. They put my mind at ease while taking care of my cat. The Doctor here was very meticulous, he went through the procedures with me in details and after a few visits, my cat got better. I don't think I could find another clinic this good, so I will definitely come back. Thank you Dr. Gillon and staff for the wonderful service.

Just visited this place for my dog. I do not know where to start and how to express the horrible experience. I am surprised to see good reviews which misleads. True colors of a person, business, etc., are revealed always only in tough times - a life lesson ! The vet did not even touch the dog and was rattling lab test etc., to extract money. The staff was poor also and not friendly to poor animal who is mellow and kind. Rather the vet accused poor pet of aggression. Only if dogs could talk ! God bless vet and hospital ! Also check similar review from: Andreina Northam Balliache I'd stay far away from this place. I hope other readers and hospital read the review. I was not alone and had family as witness. What a waste of my day and money ! This place tells they do not do vaccination unless check up which is additional extortion charge. I do not know who owns this hospital - for sure they are not only inhumane but unkind to pets too.

My dog has chronic ear infections, so bad as he got a hermatoma in one of his ears when someone was dog sitting for me. He loves the water. I simply need my prescription refilled as his ear is infected. I only need it refilled because they didnt have the correct bottle size, and was given a generic bottle that they pored some in from a much larger bottle and the lid kept falling off and eventually spilled and went bad. When i went in to get a refill, I was told the prescription ran out and that i need to schedule another appointment to get it re prescribed cause of there policies. I was not happy. I was going camping 2 days after for a week in a half to a lake. My dog swims the entire time. I could have handle it a little better and was a bit rude. I did cusre.... not at the person but at the situation. It was never directed towards the person at all. I do understand that was still NOT okay. Keep in mind my dogs ear is infected and causing discomfort. i called in today to schedule an appointment as my dogs ear is now REALLY INFECTED after our camping trip. i was put on hold for 12 min only to come back and tell me that they will no longer see me due to the last conversation. I can say i was frustrated in the "last conversation" but to say they don't want me as a customer anymore is extreme. I even asked what was the conversation and what specifically did I say or do. No real answer, just "it wasnt me so m not sure, I only know we wont see you due to the last conversation." Our new sensitive world. I asked if we can at least fill one more prescription, even if i need an appointment as my dogs ear is really bad right now and they said no. i even called back to confirm in the middle of writing this, and no. Why not send me an email or text the day that happened? why wait until I call in when my dog is in a time of need? Also know, I was never rude when calling in today. Even after being told they will no longer see me. I'm upset cause my dog is in pain. I am writing this as honest as possible. I still think the girl exaggerated the "last conversation"
