They Euthanized the song bird I brought for them after a few hours even though he was very active and in his early stages of having a diseases. When I asked them they didn’t even know what disease he had. I would expect them to try to heal these birds before euthanizing them. This center most likely euthanizes the birds you bring for them and they don’t seem to have a good Vet trying to heal wildlife. Shame on you.

I found a Dove that a cat was biting his wing and it couldn't fly any more, I wasn't going to leave it to get eaten so I took it to the Wildlife center, what a great place, they nurture them back to health and let them back out to live their life.

Easy and quick dropoff of Goldfinch nestling. It's a quick left turn once you enter the park.

Once In a while I leave there birds which my cat brings home. Thanks to these guys who help us to save poor creatures. I'm really happy that we have such a center in the Bay Area

We had an injured raccoon that we humanely caught and they were able to take it in and help it. They do not usually take animals in, unless injured, so you cannot bring any rodents or garden pests in.(Raccoons, squirrels, possums, etc.) The person that helped me was very thorough in explaining how they work, so thanks to you sir!

If you found an injured or juvenile creature, call them. If you'd like to volunteer, call them. If you'd like to donate, old towels old blankets or dirty old cash, call them.

I found an injured squirrel and did not know where to take it I went online and I found the wildlife center of Silicon Valley. I drove out there with this poor little squirrel my back seats. Unfortunately, she ( it turned out to be a she ( passed away before I arrived. But they did an examination and discovered that she had a ruptured hernia. The staff person there was very nice and considerate and helpful. It is so nice to know that there was a place that I can bring our local Wildlife to if they are hurt or injured.

Entrance is at the small, gravel driveway, shortly after the parking lot entrance to the park. I am grateful we have a resource like this in San Jose, with caring individuals who can help rehabilitate animals.

Great service to wildlife. When in doubt they are okay if you call and ask if you should bring an animal there. They also have help instructions on website for baby animals.

Thank goodness they are here to take on the challenges of caring for those lost in an urban environment.

Well after seeing the reviews of how helpful this place is for wildlife rescuing I am disappointed. I've never had the opportunity to turn in a wild animal before to this place. Next time I won't. I turned in a small finch yesterday that hit the window at my work. Once I got to this establishment a man answered the door and just pulled the finch off my hair where it was resting and told me to fill out a form and went back inside the building. Then I asked if I could adopt it if it wasn't able to be released back into the wild. He said wildlife is protected and wouldn't be able to do that (didn't know this and wouldn't want to get in trouble). I did see there was a sponsorship program to pay for the animal to be treated. There was no mention of the sponsorship program or how else I could help this finch. Very disappointing, I have volunteered at animal shelters and people who are compassionate about animals should understand this? No? The few hours that I had protected it and sheltered it, I grew attached to it and it seemed to like perching up on my fingers and shoulder and head. It did come back to life while in my care compared to what it looked like when I first saw it. I know that I see a lot of hummingbirds and birds hit the windows and die and wanted to help with at least one when I saw it was somewhat alive at first. Seemed to recover quick after I picked it up and let it rest on me. When I called in today to ask if the finch was okay and made it through the night, the lady who answered the phone asked me if I received a registration code for the bird? No, I didn't and I'm very disappointed that I wasn't given the same nice friendly service like in the reviews. No one wanted to talk to me when I got there with the bird or when I called in. It was very bothersome for anyone to give me any answers. They didn't seem to want to talk to any strangers trying to be a compassionate human being. Even with Covid going on its okay to talk to someone over the phone or staying 6ft apart and these people didn't make any time to talk to me about anything. Very sad and disappointed : ( Good luck to nature...idk if this is the place for me to turn in animals.

I love this place. They helped me with a pretty fast response over the weekend with an injured hummingbird. He recovered on his own without needing care.
