It was fun hanging out with the cats! Remember to schedule an appointment. We're lucky the next available spot was 30min from our walk in. The people were very friendly and helpful. $10 dollar donation per person to help keep the place open. ???? Lots of toys for the cats there.

Always happy to see cats. Expect them to be sleeping, since the afternoon is their bedtime.

Great way to hang out with cats...and even meet ones you might want to adopt. What's great about the Dancing Cat is meeting them in a friendly environment the cats are used to -- one thing you notice about typcal pet fairs is the cats there can be a bit stressed that there can be several other unknown dogs and cats around.

This is such a great organization and such a beautiful space to house cats for adoption and keep them comfortable and cared for until they can find forever families.

This is a lovely place with quite a few polite felines. Very polite staff who help us ensure that we can have fun safely without hurting any cats. Will definitely go back to this place.

San Jose’s Cat Cafe! My husband & I loved it when we came here a year ago.. Great value & great experience playing with the cats & contributing to the local cause!

Most of the cats were sleeping at that time (3pm). The lady told us it was normal & that they are more active towards the noon, but this was not clear when we booked. Also the page said 5-year-olds were allowed, but when I clicked next, it said kids must be at least 10 years old, so it was confusing. Otherwise it was a beautiful & well-kept room, & the cats looked happy. My son enjoyed it.

We got our cat from here, the adoption process was awesome and we got a cute little boy. He’s really been a great cat and the whole adoption process really was awesome. Some of the other places we talked to were truly awful. I hopefully won’t have to adopt another cat for many many years but this is the place I’d tell anyone to go to.

Went there today to find a new addition to our family. We left feeling very happy and confident that Little Lucy will be joining our home very soon.

I absolutely LOVED this cat cafe. I have been to some cat cafes that try to cover "undesired" smells with strong aromas, leaving me wanting to take a shower afterwards. The Dancing Cat welcomes you with a clean smell - maybe they are able to keep up with cleaning because they don't have hundreds of cats, but it was a nice break. The staff were so friendly and more than accommodating with my last minute pop in without a reservation. (It was during the work week in the day, so perhaps that helped.) It wasn't overcrowded and the $10 donation was very reasonable. I'm used to at least $15+ per hour so I appreciated the lower cost - and quite frankly, anyone who complains about donating to helping homeless kitty's looking for a home should maybe consider a different outlook on life. Best cat cafe I have been to so far.

I love to go the Dancing Cat because you get to play with cats who needs attention and love. Also staffs here are so nice and amazing! They all work hard to find a perfect home for cats. Before I visited here, I did not expect to fall in love with cats so fast since I only had dogs before.

We adopted our adorable Leo from here and were so thrilled with the whole experience. The space is bright, clean, and full of kitties! Ongoing events make return trips worth it. Definitely check this place out and bring along some cash to donate and support this fantastic local spot.

Cats are very good and most are very open. This is an anti-cage adoption center. When they say lounge, they mean it. The cats are at complete ease in the place

Great non profit that has great people. We fostered a cat from here, and had some hiccups. The staff was really responsive, and had a home visit plus a supportive call so we could make the cat feel welcome. It didn’t work out for us but it was a very happy experience. I would be back to The Dancing Cat and believe their mission and cause is much needed.

All the cats were up for adoption! And a couple look more ambiguous when they sleep (e.g. last image)

This place is a fantastic cat lounge. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. They dont hover over patrons and they really help to make a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. The cats are all very cute and clearly well taken care of. All guests get full range of the small lounge which may feel odd at first, as you walk right past the employee's work stations and food patery, but I highly recommend it as there are even more cats hanging around in the back. Keep in mind this is not a cat cafe. There isnt really any cafe like drinks or food, but there is coffee from a little coffee maker, tea, and cookies you can buy. That being said when one sees it as a cat lounge with optional food and drinks it's well worth the cheap price of entry.

Fun place to hang out with friendly cats. I read a book while my daughter drew and enjoyed the cats.

The cats here don't really interact much with the people that visit. Plus, they aren't the round and chubby cats I'm use to seeing on youtube.

Very cute and quant cat Cafe with lots of cats and comfy spaces to hang out. The staff know a lot about the cats and really care about matching the cats with a good adoptive home. You can't pick up the cats because some of them get stressed out, but a lot of them love to play with toys (which is more fun anyway). Great place to go to adopt an adult cat. Kittens are great, but they all turn into cats eventually, so you might as well adopt an adult so you can know their personality. Definitely recommend.
