We took our dogs to the Willow Glen location. Two dogs had full grooming appointments, and two were walk-in nail trims. We were greeted warmly, and everyone present contributed to the warm, friendly feel of the environment. They were exceptionally thoughtful and understanding with my senior girl, who I brought in wrapped in a puppy pad. One groomer gently cradled her, while another worked on grinding her nails. My other dog has had medical nail trims through her vet's office in the past, due to extreme stress with the nail trimming process. I was absolutely shocked to see her start out being cradled, and then graduate to being trimmed while standing. This is a credit to the confident and gentle nature of the groomers handling her; her nails have never looked better. The other two dogs received full grooms. The anxious one didn't even receive an upcharge for being harder to handle (as she had at a previous location), because apparently she did wonderfully. Her cut turned out beautifully, with her normally wiry fur unbelievably soft. Both dogs seemed content and unstressed at pickup. Yoshi and Lio were listed as the groomers for our 4 dogs, but all three present were amazingly kind, and the receptionist was incredible. They'll definitely keep our business.

Have taken my pup here about four times. The initial decision to go here was because it’s the closest grooming near my house, however they do an excellent job and my pup comes out looking rather fly every time.

I loved & recommended this place to many doodle owners, but not any longer. They switched dogs during the grooming process! My mini bernedoodle was in for a bath, but they switched him with a standard bernedoodle who was there for a full haircut. They apologized when it was time for pickup, and tried to play it off that it was close to the haircut my dog would normally get, and they would only charge me for the bath we had booked. There's no excuse for switching dogs during an appointment!

This team always does a great job grooming my schnauzer-poodle mix dog. More importantly, they take good care throughout the process.

I have three rescue dogs and groom them myself for convenience and it doesn't hurt that it saves me money. That being said, after a year of working very hard to desensitize one of them to touch, including bathing and grooming, I'm still not able to get him to sit still enough and be calm enough to do anything resembling a good job on his muzzle or do anything inside his ears. Having reached the point of no return where I had to either have him sedated for ear plucking and cleaning or find a groomer willing to work on a dog with his history (he was in the shelter for nearly two years due to a history of biting), I called Yoshi, the manager, who was highly recommended by another dog owner/frequent fosterer. After hearing his lengthy story and my needs as a pet owner, she was more than happy to take on the challenge. What I appreciated the most was the fact that she said his well-being is her top priority so if she could not do it safely and without causing him distress, she would stop. Having spent a year trying to teach him that grooming is not a scary thing, that was exactly what I wanted to hear. Fast forward to today when he had his appointment and I was over the moon to get a phone call maybe 15 minutes after I dropped him off that he was ready for pickup and his ears were clean. He's the kind of dog that wears his emotions and feelings on his sleeve so I knew when I picked him up that his experience had been a positive one. I will definitely be bringing him back on a regular basis for his earsand may even see if they're up for the challenge of trying to make his face a little bit more handsome.

My wife and I scheduled an appt. for our 3 year old lab/beagle mix to get a haircut, bath and nail trim, this would be our first time here and it was negative to say the least. When we arrived, the younger Asian American female was somewhat odd with us in that she didn't really engage or greet us, let alone our dog. You would hope that the dog groomer is going to be a dog person, but she just reached for the leash and brought him behind the counter. As soon as our dog got behind the counter, the employees dog (we think she said it's name was paco) snipped at our dog and scared him. She told her dog to shut up and literally dragged our dog to the "kennel/waiting area" in the back as he dug his paws in, where we immediately had multiple dogs begin barking at him. We told her to give us our dog, and we left. It was not ok, they were overbooked, aggressive with handling the dog and just rude. Wouldn't recommend waisting your time here. I saw how she treated my dog when I was there, I don't want to imagine how rough they would be with hime when I wasn't looking.

The short story- they mutilated my dog. Read on for details. I left my dogs at the Willow Glen location for bath and paw trim. My boy was agitated on pick-up. The groomer said he was unruly. I apologized, paid and left. I soon noticed that they cut his tail, shaved fur off his legs and his belly was shaven to the skin with razor burn. I called to complain that I hadn’t asked for any clipping except his feet. I spoke to the groomer who said it was a miscommunication and that the cut was normal for the breed. I left my big dog to calm down, but I wanted to get pictures of the bad grooming. He’s a happy dog but when I tried to pet him, he winced. What I found horrified me. He had red, inflamed, bloody wounds down his neck, back, sides and tail. I took pictures and scheduled a vet visit. The vet agreed that the wounds were caused by the grooming with either a razor or a brush repeatedly ripping out his fur and skin. After several calls and messages, I received a call from a female manager who apologized and admitted what had happened was horrible. She refunded the cost of the grooming and agreed to cover the vet bill. She offered to have him gently groomed, but I declined as it would be cruel to ever take him back there, which she understood. When asked about the groomer, she said he had used the excuse that he was misbehaving. As you can imagine, I was livid and inquired if it was their policy to take their anger out on unruly dogs and abuse them. She apologized and backpedaled. When I suggested that such an individual should not work with animals, she said he would be spoken to and retrained. I cannot imagine the torture it must have been for my boy to have to endure his fur and skin being ripped out until he was bleeding. It breaks my heart that I took him there and wasn’t there to stop the pain. Although I do not want to vilify the entire business for the actions of one person, the other employees were present while this happened. No one stopped it. No one called me or investigated why he was misbehaving. It sickens me.

I have been bringing my elderly long haired dachshund here for grooming for three years. I have always had a good experience, and bring her in every 3-4 months. In late December I suffered a spinal injury and was unable to bring my dog in until today, 5 months after her last grooming as I was unable to lift her. When I showed up for her appointment today, I was horrified to see every table and the entire floor covered in dog hair of many colors, up to an inch deep in areas. In the past, the tables and floors have been very clean, and I have seen groomers sweeping up and sterilizing tables between every dog. A very young receptionist, whom I had never seen before greeted me with a loud complaint about my previous groomer, whom she said hadn't left any notes. I mentioned that my dog's hair which is very fine, always formed matted areas, which the groomer always scissored off, then clipped her evenly. She demanded to know if I wanted something she called gringe feet. She became loud and agressive when I was unable to answer her question, as this is something I have never heard of. I told her to please just groom my dog and clip her nails. She then placed a paper in front of me and said I had to sign it because the dog's hair had mats. The paper stated that I agreed not to hold them responsible if they lacerated, burned or mutilated my dog. I have never seen such a form although she insisted that she had been there a long time (6 months!) and everyone had always had to sign it. The girl then tried to show me pictures of mutilated dogs that she said had had mats. She quoted me a price approximately twice the price I have always paid. When I asked to speak to the other person there, an older man whom I recognized from previous visits, she attempted to shout me down, not allowing me to speak to the more experienced person. I of course asked for my dog to be returned, and left. I will never bring my dog here again!

I have been taking my Golden Retriever there for the last three visits. Staff are friendly and they are willing to hear my questions and requests. So far I had a different groomer every time but the results were the same, happy dog and happy owner. They also have a mobile service. A bit more costly...almost double the price. But it was worth it in an emergency situation.

Was very unhappy. The receptionist was too busy to even look at me as I spoke to her about what I wanted done. She kept answering other calls and talking with groomers behind her or was looking at the computer....yet she was assisting me as I stood in front of her. Needless to say my dog did NOT get what I requested. And I had to take her back to clean up the terrible cut they did. Been six months still cant do a good job. Lost this cutomer to Antonio Rodriguez.

I’ve tried other places including Petsmart grooming (which was the worst). Quality Pet Spot is amazing! they do a really good job they’re not cheap but you get great grooming for your dog. The people who work there are extremely friendly and they know exactly what your pet needs and also offer advice.

After our groomer of 7 years retired we took a chance and tried Quality Pet Spot and it turned out to be the best choice. Jasmine takes great care of our Shih-Tzu with consistently beautiful work.
