The Vets and the Groomer are top notch in every way! My family has brought all of our dogs here, to Dr Nagal, for over 15 years. I, live in Los Angeles but come to San Jose a few times a year. I, always save Jasper’s annual exams, and second opinions for Dr Nagal. I’ve experienced other vets at the office and have always experienced experienced, expert, thoughtful, compassionate professional service, and high quality care from the vets, vet techs and front office staff. The prices are beyond fair, and I never feel pushed into anything. Compared to some of my friend’s vets, this place is cheap in prices, but not skimping on quality- which is rare rare rare! However, I think that’s because they’ve got an old fashioned mentality of putting patients first& that brings lasting loyalty above highway robbery. Jay, the groomer is literally the best groomer, I have ever had the pleasure of having groom my Jasper. He’s a poodle bichon mix, which is an extremely high maintenance breed… meaning his very curly, fur grows very, quickly, he’s all white, and loves the dirt. Jay Hurtado, is so good, that I’ve been stopped on the street regularly to be asked who is my groomer. I’ve been able to refer other friends, to use both our long trusted vet, Dr Nagal and Jay, the groomer at Lincoln Ave Vet, and they literally call after every visit to the vet and groomer to race about their experiences. Literally, every time! Lol! That’s because, the care is so exceptional & the prices are so reasonable. Definitely, seeing is believing! Don’t take my word for it, give them a try and see for yourself!

Get a second opinion, otherwise, your baby may die and don't expect compassion from them when it dies.

I have been going here for 6 months. Be it vaccinations or injury, they are really quick, detail oriented & economical. I highly recommend them My pup was attacked on by a bigger dog. His snout was punctured through and lower jaw dislocated. Yes quite traumatic. These guy took perfect care of him and fixed him with one surgery and few check up visits. I cannot thank them enough for their help and care. ????

Dr. Nagel is the best vet I've ever had for my cat over the past 11 years. He's excellent at dental surgery, and has so much experience with cats that his diagnoses have always been correct. Where other vets have just assumed, Dr. Nagel investigates. I recently learned that my cat was misdiagnosed by a vet in NYC with Chronic Kidney Disease, and it turned out to just be kidney stone, which passed, and Dr. Nagel was able to research and confirm this be palpating her kidneys and ordering new tests. He's done almost all of her teeth, and her recovery time has always been short. He's the only vet she can stand. Prices are very good for the Bay Area, and about 1/4 the price I pay in NYC for the same procedure. Thank you for all the excellent care over the years!

Everyone here was kind and helpful from start to finish. I have a pet with a lot of special needs and when I moved to the bay area, I needed a new vet clinic. After having a bad experience elsewhere, I made an appointment with Lincoln Avenue Vet Clinic and the service here was spectacular! They took the time to understand my cat's medical history and did the most appropriate and necessary tests without going overboard. They were so gentle and patient with my cat and she was the least stressed she's been in a vet office since the move. The refills on my cat's medications were also pretty reasonable, and I'd happily get them there with how quick and convenient everything was.

Lincoln Avenue Veterinary Clinic takes wonderful care of my pets, Dexter and Sithis. The vets have always treated them with kindness and respect. The rest of the staff are really nice too. The vets are always very thorough in answering all my questions. Thank you! :)

This is a great vet clinic. Been bringing my dog here since she was a puppy. Dr. Bowden is awesome, with decades of experience, and really knows how to handle a big dog.

The team at Lincoln Ave have done a wonderful, diligent and considerate job of caring for our 2 cats over the last three years. From check-ups and vaccines to the hardest of goodbyes, they have been compassionate, professional and understanding throughout and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is a very late review, but last year in the summer, my dog got a foxtail embedded in his nostril and Lincoln Avenue Vet Clinic was very fast and helpful in diagnosing the problem. Dr. Kang was wonderfully helpful, and super informative and was very kind to inform me along the whole process because my dog had to be sedated to pull the little sucker out. My dog was sneezing uncontrollably and sneezing out blood, but after his visit to the vet, he's as good as new!

I've been going here a little over a year. Dr. Nagel is great with my cat Nubs and they were very professional and kind hearted when we had to make the difficult decisions to put down our elderly cat last year. They offer great services and their prices are competitive.

Front desk staff is rude and unprofessional!!!

We have been taking our pets here for as long as I can remember. The doctors are wonderful with our dogs. I have my daughter-in-law taking her cat there now.

I have been taking my 3 labs to lincoln ave vet clinic for many years. Cole (my black lab) is a regular as he is plagued with allergies. Haley my yellow lab has gone thru treatment for throat cancer. They love our dogs at Lincoln and I can truly say our pets aren't afraid when they have a visit. The docs are knowledgeable in the latest treatments and always make great recommendations. If a specialist is needed they know who to send you to and don't hesitate to do so. They just want whats best for my beloved pets (kids). I would recommend taking your pets her absolutely!

Some staffing turnover, but a good veterinary clinic

The vets and nurses here are always excellent. Reception can get quite busy so you do sometimes have to wait but the staff are always helpful and friendly.

I would not willingly take my animal here. My girl and I took our cat here for its annual shot. She picked this place cause it was close. Upon entry they say you must pay a 65$ "check up fee" all I want is the shot. Not a check up. The "check up fee" is not an option. I say call it what it is. Its a first time patient fee. Hiding fees behind bullshit names. THAT'S NOT SOMEONE I WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. be upfront and honest no SHADY business tactics. If you want my business. I say do your research and check prices to find out what your paying for.
