I just took my puppy here for the first time for a social. The trainer was great, he worked with me and my pup on discouraging jumping when greeting. He explained puppy behavior throughout the session and used positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior. Way better than Petfood Express. I also overheard the other trainer on the other side of the room explaining things to the "parents" during their shy puppy social. I really appreciate the time the employees take to ensure a well behaved and happy pup.

Amazing, truly a treasure in the bay area - good value for $, responsible and caring employees, responsive, clean, reliable, etc. etc. all the good things you are looking for when you entrust someone with your fur baby. They have a report card system as well after daycare, it's just the best. Webcam also available whenever you want some respite from work and want to check-in on your baby. My pup, T'Challa, is only 4 months old and has already gone 3 times. He's already made so many fur-iends. They have an interview process to ensure they only accept socialized, happy dogs in their pack. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love this place. From the first time that we brought our 11 week old to a puppy social here, we knew we had found an awesome group of people that we could trust. They are usually booked for daycare 3 days out and extended overnight boarding needs a month or more notice. We've been coming here for a year and a half now and every Thursday Artemis gets super excited and bounces off the garage door hoping to get to go for the day. The webcams are clutch and let parents watch how much fun our furbabies are having without us! This week we went through another puppysitting agency and we thought we were going to be ok being out of town for a week. Boy were we wrong. Even though we had introduced Artemis to the sitter beforehand and they seemed to get along, the sitter just couldn't get Artemis to trust her. It took a neighbor and their pup coming over to get her to feel safe enough to be leashed. Fast forward to a repeat of the situation the next day at the sitter's place. We were out of town and there was absolutely nothing we could do. Artemis was stressed and didn't feel safe, so was the sitter! Downtown Dogs really came through for us. Even though they were already fully booked, they listened to our situation and agreed that they were the safest place for Artemis to be, so they took her in! I am soooo glad that we had been bringing her here for soo long! Artemis is in a happy place where she knows and loves everyone and she gets to play with her pupfriends.

Our puppy Bilbo has been going to Downtown Dogs for over a year, and we are always extremely impressed with the staff. A little pricey, but very worth it.

My border collie has been coming to downtown dogs since he got vaccinated. I love watching him on the camera feeds. They also take great pictures which they give you upon your dogs departure.

Bilbo our Corgi loves going to Downtown Dogs for both Daycare and Overnight Care (they are primarily the former). They are extremely caring, have an easy online reservation system, and run lots of themed programs for your dogs.

best doggy daycare and boarding in the bay area. I've been a client since 2005. they also have great training classes. Mark and Kelly, the owners, are super knowledgeable and are great people.

We've been bringing our 12-year-old Alaskan Malamute to DD every weekday for years, and she's always excited to go. Everybody there clearly loves dogs and is invested in their care and well being. Highly recommended!

Great environment for the dogs, whether for daycare or boarding. My oldest dog has been coming here for 12 years. His two "brothers" join him now.

The three hound boys have a blast here! Better Hu et, they come back exhausted. Great staff....great care....A++++++
