Bloom has continuously provided affordable, reliable pet care to all 4 of our pets. I trust the advice that is given and the pricing is fair. Excellent neighborhood vet!

In my opinion; Dr. Bath is one of the best vets in the area. He does not do unnecessary tests that cost hundreds of dollars; like some vets do.just to get your money. He is affordable for low income people; like myself. He has treated 2 of my cats. He is very good. The vet who had been treating my cat Emmy; just gave up; she didn't know what else to do; but Dr Bath found the problem and now Emmy is breathing much better after her visit to The Bloom Plaza Animal Hospital. I highly recommend Bloom Plaza Animal Hospital.

Impossible to get ahold of them. I tried getting my cat in to be looked at for months. 8 phone calls + emails later, I brought him to another vet to find out he had cancer. The new vet never got the records from Bloom, despite multiple record requests. The day after my cat passed, Bloom started blasting me with cat food emails and haven't stopped, despite my requests for them to stop. Do not bring your pets here. They will randomly ghost you and stop answering messages once they have your money.

They get things right the first time and are very reasonable with their fees. No frills, just honest knowledgeable staff that care for your pet’s health first and foremost.

Bloom plaza animal hospital is by far the best in the area! Every time I bring my dogs in we are met with the most friendly, accommodating, professionals. My dogs can be a handful but Dr. Bath and his staff have bonded with them, gained their trust, and always look forward to their visits. It’s so refreshing to have such a great, friendly, supportive vet just around the corner. As long as I live in the area I won’t take my dogs anywhere else! We love bloom plaza animal hospital, their vets, vet techs and everyone in between. We’ve been through many vets with these dogs and past dogs and I bloom plaza is easily number 1. We recommended them to all our friends and family because we trust them THAT much!

Nikki gave our hard to handle Bully Dog expert and capable care. She gave us detailed instruction for home care. No trauma. No issues.

Do not take your animals here - just don't do it. I've never come across a clinic with such lack of empathy for their patients (and their humans). The residing veterinarian here has been seeing my dog ever since we brought him home, almost 13yrs now. They've taken countless appointments, we've paid for countless visits and countless medications and scans. My dog has a long and complex medical history. His condition has worsened over the last few months and the past few days have been extremely rough for him so we scheduled an appointment for noon on May 26th. We called to let them know we were running late as he had a little accident on the way there. The woman on the phone, Nicky, told us that the doctor wouldn't be able to see us if we were 15min late. We were frustrated and there was a heated exchange as our dog was in serious pain and discomfort. Nicky's only solution for us was to take him to an ER. We don't want to ever take him to an ER because of his long history that this veterinarian is aware of. She then said the next appt wouldn't be until June. After a few more minutes of back and forth the vet came to the phone and gave us the same spiel and attitude and eventually asked us to check for appointments with their other branch. We called the other branch and within five minutes the other branch offered a solution and an appt for the next morning. She suggested we call back the bloom plaza branch to ask for a drug to be prescribed, which we did. We made an appt with the Alum Rock location and I went to pick up my dogs medication from Bloom Plaza. Upon my arrival, I worked with Nicky and let her know my thoughts on how the practice should consider leaving more time in between and for their appts. While the phone call was heated, this interaction was not. I actually ended up apologizing for the behavior on the call earlier. I asked that they take a look into their practices as there should be more leeway of a grace period when it comes to booking appts, I would've rather they said they had no time then to "double book" my appt in between the vets other obligations. (Nicky used the term "double book.") Nicky then told me that maybe we needed to work with two different vets and build relationships with both. In what world does anyone do that? Please let me know if anyone has two doctors, two dentists, two optometrists, two dermatologists - in what rational world? After spending more money than I should have, once again, we just received a call saying that they were cancelling our appt because of the interaction I had with Nicky at Bloom Plaza. This hospital and its sister practice has absolutely no problem taking your money until you actually need them. Animals are members of our families, we treat them like family. When things are dire and timing constraints are imperative to their health and comfort, we get frustrated. What's the point of building a rapport and relationship with them if they drop your animal when you need them the most? I honestly just can't believe that they operate an animal hospital and have this little care for the animals they see. Go somewhere else. Find a practice that actually cares for your pets and not just about booking as many appts as possible to make as much as an income as possible. I'm actually extremely grateful that Nicky and Dr. Bath decided to act this way. We were able to find another office that saw our dog on the same day that we called and even scheduled follow up visits for the following day. The medication they prescribed worked wonders compared to what we received haphazardly from Dr. Bath.

I’m happy with how fast the visit was but I’m unhappy at how much lack of transparency there was about what injections they were giving my pet. They didn’t care enough to explain everything even after asking questions. I'm likely not going to go there again unless action is taken. Right now it seemed like they were giving my pet as much treatment as they could so they could make more $$$.

Been going here for years now. Very professional and easy to communicate with even during COVID. My new dogs has been going for a year now and will continue to go.

We took our puppy to get spayed at Bloom Plaza Hospital because it was half the price of our vet clinic. They were very friendly and professional and did a great job with our puppy. The post op care was very well laid out and I felt they overall did a wonderful job. I think some vets charge a lot simply because of the zip code where their office is located. It does not mean that they do a better job! This clinic was less expensive with the same level of treatment.

Dr. Bath is the Animal Whisperer. He seems to know what's wrong with my babies before even the results come in. My babies love him. When he enters the room they are calm and he can get them to do what he needs them to do for exams. He's so good with them. The staff are friendly and very qualified.

I really like allot of the staff but there is definitely a bad apple there. other then that services are decent bet himself is great. Your front line is the most important to a business so with that said only complaint is the front desk. I'll leave the name out because it'll be easy to figure out who it is!!

I moved to San Jose about 2 years ago and I took my fury babies to few doctors in San Jose and non of them were animal lover and they only cared for money. With no positive result even ... Finally I found this clinic and this amazing doctor and lovely staff which I am really happy with.. they are really good people and you can tell they care so much for your kids... I’m so blessed I found them The Doctor was always right about any issues my kids have and they are so fair in any ways ... god bless them ... thank you all at bloom plaza hospital .

Bloom Plaza has been our go to vet for at least 10 years. Always available and always have the best interest of the animal in mind. Very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I especially like that the staff has been the same for years, the sign of a stable and good work environment.

Super friendly, attentive, and proficient staff, flexible scheduling, and extremely fair pricing for services rendered. The vet and his staff really care about their patients and do not appear to be guided solely by money as is the case with many other practices around the Bay Area.

I love bloom plaza. They are responsive and fast. They love animals and do everything to help you with your animal at a reasonable cost. My dog has had surgery here on his ACL and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pup!

Bloom Plaza has been our vet for at least 5 years and we are so happy to have found them. They truly care about your pet and their advise is always in the animals best interest. The price is fair and the staff is very caring.
