❌❌❌❌❌❌ - Dont go to this clinic at all. I wonder how did I not read the other reviews before going here. These people are a scam and also wont write their medical records correctly and why was the pet admitted. I reached out to them and asked them to correct vet records on why was pet admitted. They did not do any of it which is causing a big trouble for me to claim my pets insurance and they almost charged me for all the tests which is around 3-4k d. Snow has pre-existing condition about gas and loose stool but snow was admitted because she ingested pesticide and chew on wooden stick so we were not sure which one was it and they gave a treatment based on that and they did not include that on the vet record and only mentioned wooden stick and there was definitely gas since her stomach was upset. Anyone would have that. I have asked them to support me through this since last 4 months and they wont respond properly and whenever I try speaking to elfy she says she is on a “lunch break”. She says she spoke to the vet and cannot do anything else. All have I asked for is to support me that snow was not admitted because she has gas issues. She was admitted because she had blood vomiting die to toxication and wooden stick. So they did test for all those. Also, please dont go to this vet they will not help you in anyway.

1 star to this veterinarian being open past 6pm. Otherwise, the overall experience was alarming to say the least. The employees were all scrambling over a missing cadaver, sus. There’s no organization or customer service for the prices they are charging. I guess we live in a world where blood work and X-rays are double what it would cost for a human being, $600 FYI. They’re not shy of hustling vulnerable people. When I refused to pay the amount, instead of letting me go, they tried to convince me to go another route for $285. At that point I was not afraid to let them know I would take my business else where. Be warned, get a 2nd opinion as you would for your own health checks. I will never return to this establishment. Waste of time & money.

Took terrific care of my cat while he received IV fluids for potential poisoning. Staff was kind and friendly. Far more reasonable prices than other emergency vets in the area (came over from Medvet, ARK was less than half the cost for identical treatment).

I love this place they have the best customer service ever. My Romeo wasn’t feeling well and they took him in right away without any questions. That is the best service. Thank you so much for being there for us we appreciate it and we love you

If I could give them more stars I would. Dr Chahal is incredible knowledgeable and he takes the time to explain what is going on with your pet into detail. I really like the fact that you can actually go inside the clinic instead of waiting outside in the car like a lot of vets are doing. I took my pup in last Monday due to a respiratory infection + knee injury. I was really worried because my pup looked very sick and couldn’t move. The vet assistants notified the vet right away and I didn’t have to wait long. The helpers/vet assistants are also really nice and seem very happy to be working there. Overall, great experience and I really recommend this place.

Worst place ever .. don’t take ur pet here at any cost even in an emergency go some where else. They waste your time don’t give clear instructions and charge a lot and at the end the treatment is also the worst. The list just goes on and on.. Reading other reviews just made me realize that I was not the only one who suffered this. They have no regard for improving the service. Spoke another customer who was there and they told their experience was the same. I am not writing this in frustration but after a well thought and through research and their actions behavior and pet treatment.

This place is awesome!!!!!!!!! They took care of my dog, when he got into a fight with another dog, his paw and whole arm was ripped up, and his veins were tore apart, his nerves were also damaged too, but Dr. Chahal saved my dog, and helped him get back to his normal self, I can't thank you enough Dr. Chahal, you are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Chahal is truly the best vet I've ever met in my 40+ years with pets in my life. He is the ultimate problem solver. When my local vet said there was nothing to be done for my kitty with cancer, I went to Dr. Chahal. I trust him to care about quality of life as well as treatment options. If you care about your four-legged family, you can't put them in better hands!

Don't take your pet here. If you choose to decline their services because of price, or you want to get a second opinion, or to find a better vet, they will report you to Animal Control as refusing medical care from them. They wanted $4000 from me up front before they would treat my dog. I was crying, asking for a payment plan, told them I'd get the money together and come back the next day. They refused care to my dog at 3pm because I didn't have the money right then and there, and at 4pm they called animal control on me. I took my dog to them and paid $400 for an exam and x-rays. They refuse medical treatment to my dog and then have the audacity to call me a bad owner. No, Mr. Jatinder Chahal, you are a bad business owner. You care only about money, not the well being of pets.

MY DOG DIED HERE DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE DO NOT GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY . the main surgeon working with my dog LEFT THE BUILDING while he was under critical care and the only people left responsible for my child was two people who acted like it was their first day. I did not even get to say goodbye to him during his last waking moment. I hate that the "vet" is still able to even touch another fur baby.

2 stars because of their sweet and friendly staff who builds trust in the clinic. Only 2 stars because the Vet tried to take advantage of my vulnerability and put my pet through all sort of expensive tests, x-rays, blood work, poking the pet's bladder to get urine, etc, etc, before doing simple observations that could have easily directed the vet to the issue my pet was having. If your excuse is that you had to do all sorts of tests to make sure my pet is ok, then I'm sorry why didn't you look at the primary symptom area before doing other tests and put my pet through long painful procedures? Hope you learn from this and start giving direct diagnosis from now. Sorry, I trusted you, but I lost that trust unfortunately.

Doctors are very friendly and staff are incredibly kind. Very insightful and empathetic about any situation you may be coming in for. You pet is guaranteed to be well taken care of with the utmost care and love through its stay. Will highly recommend coming to this veterinarian again. 10/10

Take your pet elsewhere !!! I had a scheduled surgery for a broken femur on my 8 week old kitten and upon drop off at 8am I received a call approximately 6 hours later stating they can no longer do the surgery. They shaved my kitten, gave her drugs and inserted a catheter just to find out they didn’t have the right size tube for her throat. They told me it’s not there fault but that the company doesn’t make a tube for her size !?!?! Proceeded to tell me “come back in 4 weeks when she’s bigger” got 3 evaluations before this vet and they all told me this surgery has to be done ASAP. Called a vet the next day and got her booked for surgery the same week and for cheaper. Undertrained and incompetent. Terrible experience all around.

Please please don’t go there if you want your pet still alive. This is just a scam place.

The vet is better than other big animal hospitals, Sage Campbell or Adobe Animal Hospital, I went. At least I can meet with the Doctor and nurses. However, I don't know why we need pass our words through nurses. Either the miscommunication happened or the Doctor and nurses don't care the blood test result which shows big problem in Kidney. My dog died soon within one week after the first visit, and a couple of days after recheck because the Doctor did not give us anything to help his Kidney. Yes His digestion got fixed, but the Kidney was the root cause for the losing of appetite. My youth child checked internet and told me that my dog was died from Kidney failure. I then picked all symptoms and realized the problem. The dog is a great lovely adorable Shih-Tzu boy. Therefore I changed my five stars to three stars. The three stars are for their convenient hours, and the prior work that Dr Chahal performed for my another dog Bichon-Frise. She got a put-down suggestion from Adobe Animal Hospital Los Altos, Dr. Chahal saved her by locating the root cause, performing a good surgery to remove a throat tumor (please check my Yelp review) in late night. I picked her around 11pm. She is well after that surgery. Regarding other hospitals, each of Adobe Animal Hospital, Sage, and Pacific Santa Cruz requires us to stay in car during Covid-19 that could cause mis-communication hard to communicate ==> wrong dose wrong medicine wrong treatments ==> sleepless nights ==> high bills + cost the life of each of my dogs.

Very good vet and very good veterinary staff. They followed up afterwards to make sure my 14yr old pupper was getting better as well. Hopefully I won't have to go back there, but if I needed to I absolutely will do!!

The staff here are very attentive and empathetic. They will do the best they can to treat your pets. I had to make a hard choice and put down my cat here during an emergency visit, and the staff were very sensitive and very caring throughout the entire process. I hope to not come back here again—but if I had to, at least I know that this place would give the best fighting chance.

Dr. Chahal is the best! We started going to him when he first started practicing and he is as enthusiastic and empathetic today as he was back then. It’s great piece of mind to know your fur babies are in great hands.

Amazing staff and care! Came in for a congestive heart-failure emergency with my dog after 9pm. Had called in right before and was immediately taken into a room for them to check her out. Extremely thorough and gentle care of my little one and very professional and thoughtful care for a rather broken down me. Dr. Chahal came out several times throughout the treatment process that night to explain what had happened to her, how they were treating her and what steps to take next. All documents and test results were sent by email and they made sure to confirm that all documents arrived and were able to be accessed by me before we left. If something happens after-hours to my little one again, I will definitely return to Ark Veterinary Care.

All though my Frenchie a bit loud, he is not used to new things and the staff where always polite and understanding. I love this place and if I needed to come I will definitely will, but hope not to.
