Website say it's open. All offices closed and dark. Cats and dogs crying in the dark facilities. Probably hungry. Animal abuse in the County Animal Services?

They kill more dogs than they get adopted. Shouldn't kill animals just because they can't be rescued rather because they need to. If you guys can state "help! Euth-listed! Can be killed at any moment!" Meaning it can still be adopted no need for death regardless, u can't take an animals life because no one adopts it then why have you started this organization for if it's not out of just goodness of your heart, unless your benefiting from the deaths.

This place is a joke I rescued my dog and it came home and cost me hundreds in vet bills.

i understand it's coronavirus times but they never answer the phone no matter what time of day it is and if they do answer they don't respond to the location of the call

Got our very first dog here 4 years ago. Both the facilities and the staff were excellent. The care given to the animals and the price of adoption are unmatched.

I went to get my dogs rabies and registration and the door was locked. The receptionist ignored me, then posted a paper on the door. I had to get mad at her through the door because she still would not open the door. I have never had this experience. More infirmation should be posted online about all hours of services.

Just adopted a dog from the San Jacinto animal campus and had such a great experience. They have a great layout and so many amazing dogs to choose from. I can't imagine anyone going there and not being able to find their new best friend.

I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know exactly what my expectations were for a govt run service but I do know that RCDAS exceeded them. I took my dog in today for low cost vaccination boosters. I was able to painlessly schedule an appointment online and get a reminder text. The shots were very inexpensive and injecting my dog was handled most expeditiously. Kudos. You deserve them.

facility is OK during flu outbreak but phone is nuts, keeps taking me in a circle and won't get any one to help me. A miserable hour of playing phone tag.

shelter works extremely well with the public as well as rescues. They are helpful and allow visits with the animal to see how well the dog and the adopters interact.

Awesome service, very few knowledgeable employees. The vicious beast I took home just needed a friend, plays well with other dogs here. Use your own judgement. The dog phycologist is a idiot.

I called them regarding adopting a dog that was on the euthanasia list . They are totally useless. I called them on Sutarday, they were open refused to give any information but told me to call on Monday. On Monday I spent almost all day calling them, I had to wait 30 minutes on the line then calls were terminated before anybody answers or operators answered and terminated the calls immediately. The dog probably was put down already, since he is not listed anymore on the website.

In and out with paying for dog licenses took me less than 5 minutes. No problem getting ready to license another.

Well they were very nice to me. I lost my dog yesterday, she was very old. The one thing I don't like is the cost of euthinising is outrageous at $50 .

Drove all the way down there to drop off some kittens to be adopted and I guess I should have called beforehand cuz they're not taking any animals in right now

I couldn't be with my pet when he was put to sleep. Pets have feelings and i dont think they should die alone.

I was actually surprised. I was expecting a nightmare but found a very clean facility, friendly helpful staff, & well taken care of animals. I didnt leave there with an ache in my heart at all. While I was there, one young woman was slowly going from cage to cage, petting each dog & talking softly to each one. I was pleased with the whole experience there. 5 Stars!
