Tales of the Kitty is by and far the most wonderful cat sitting service we have ever used. They are incredibly reliable, responsive, easy to schedule with etc. Beyond that- all of the TOTK folks are people who truly love cats. My favorite part of their service is that they send email updates describing their visit with your cat and including a picture. We highly recommend this service to anyone looking!

Aine is our go-to sitter now! She is thorough, responsible, and genuinely seems to love what she does. I had never called cat-sitters before because I was wary of letting someone in our home while we were away, but Aine has earned our trust and kept our kitties very happy! Thank you, TotK!

It was my first time using Tales of the Kitty and they followed up with me almost immediately after my initial request. I filled out some online paperwork which helped them assess me and my cat's needs. They then sent someone to meet my cat in advance and see where everything is laid out in my home. They asked all the important questions and things I never considered. I received daily emails with photo updates on my cat. I couldn't be happier with the service and can't recommend them more highly.

Tales Of The Kitty looked after our boys, Merry & Pippin, many times during our 5 years living in San Francisco. Every time was an exemplary experience, from the booking website and personal reservation confirmations, to the actual care given to our cats and the daily check-ins with status updates and photos emailed to us, even dealing with an ant infestation of our auto-feeder a few days after we left on one particular trip; you name it, Tales' staff cared for our boys as if we were there ourselves. We can recommend Shelly and her staff wholeheartedly. I can only hope we find a cat minding service as good in our new city. 6 Stars!

You won't be disappointed. Been using this fine establishment since 2004. My cat is close to 19 years old and needs attention. Tales of the Kitty is very careful with him, his meds and needs. I trust them 100 percent.

We've used Tales of the Kitty for years now, and they are amazing. Our cat is never stressed and upset when we get home, and never has matted fur (which was a problem we'd run into with cat sitters she didn't trust to brush her). I can't say enough positive things about Shelly and her team at Tales of the Kitty. I had a "high maintenance" kitty (diabetic) and did a lot of travel for work and not only was I always able to rely on them, but I knew that my fur baby was in not only incredibly capable, professional, experienced hands but also in hands that truly loved him as their own. If you are nervous about leaving your fur baby with strangers, fear no more - Tales of the Kitty is absolutely the best.
