Friendly staff! Personal and sincere treatment plan. Just coming from another vet for the first time my wife and I are happy with sunset vet

Inconsiderate, rude and careless. We were looking for a vet during the pandemic and they were the only ones that accepted new patients - well there is a reason why. They might be one of the few vets that actually pick up the phone when you call them but they lack organizational and planning skills and worst of all they do not treat your animal or the owners well. It got so bad that our dog started shaking and shivering as we turned the corner for our second visit at this vet. Even with restrictions being lifted (Nov 2021 - I can work out at the gym without a mask) they don’t allow owners into the building. Why do you keep traumatizing the animals and the owners? Please don’t visit this vet - for your pet’s and your own sake.

My cat had very bad skin issues for years, I’d taken my cat to multiple veterinarians trying to figure out the problem. Dr. Chan knew exactly what was happening (allergies), we haven’t had any skin issues since my cat’s first visit. The office staff and techs are also efficient and knowledgeable.

Excellent care from all staff. Dog is even wagging her tail when they come out to greet her. Lucky to have such a great vet in the neighborhood.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Chan and her team when there are so many stressors from not being able to go in for your fur baby's evaluation. Very clear communication via phone and email. I will be keeping my pets' care here from now on.

best vet ever. My dog needed major dental surgery and they took her in right away and treated her so well. Super communicative, easy to coordinate with, answered all my questions and explained everything. Just a great experience overall. I felt like they really cared about my dog. The difference in my dog's demeanor after the surgery was incredible. she's 11 years old but acting like a puppy again!

They couldn't fit my dog in they were too busy it would be like days before I could get an appointment

The staff is so kind and treats my dog with the best care! I adopted a puppy maltipoo in June 2020 and have only taken her here! They are knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

Everyone is friendly, they treat my 85 lb mutt as if he were their own baby. They always explain what should be done and let me know how much treatment will cost up front. Cost of services are reasonable and they don't run up the bill with additional tests.

The whole team at Sunset Veterinary Hospital are kind, responsive, and professional. They are providing excellent care while implementing safety measures during these COVID times. They make sure to communicate all relevant info with you over the phone, as you may not enter the building. When I drop off my kitty for her appointments I know I am leaving her in capable hands and that the quality of service is the best!

I called for help on Christmas Eve, I understand availability is limited. But Sunset Veterinary Hospital wouldn’t sell me a cone for my cat to stop scratching his ear infection. I recommend trying another pet hospital if you need help in a crunch.......

Ive been coming for over 10 years. Dr. Wieman and staff are amazing and will take the best care of your little furbabies and furryfam.

SVH takes such awesome care of my senior chihuahua Myrtle. The staff are super accommodating and have been able to fit us in when they’re booked up to help me avoid costly emergency vet visits. Would recommend them to anyone - I always leave feeling confident and reassured that myrtle’s health is in great hands. Thanks y’all :)

Sunset Veterinary Hospital is the best! We’ve been bringing our dog Suki here since she was a little floof and the friendly staff and doctors always take such good care of her. They always go above and beyond to fit us in when inevitable things like upset stomachs or hurt paws come up. I would give them a bagillion star rating if I could.

We love Dr Chan, super helpful and always very approachable.

Friendly people & great service!

I've taken 3 dogs here so far and the service has been really great. The front desk staff and the techs are friendly and really good with the animals. Over the years there has been some turnover with the vets, but they have all been great. They always do a good exam, make professional recommendations, and never push unnecessary procedures. I really feel that I can trust them with my furry friends.

Sunset has been our regular vet for 10 years - 2 cats and 2 dogs. Dr Hanson, Chris, and the staff are great and have taken great care of our fur kids. Strongly recommend.

The vets, the vet techs, and the staff are very friendly and caring. The doctors take the time to explain what's going on with your pet, what your options are, and what to expect. While there are other veterinary clinics closer to my home, I have gone to Sunset Veterinary Hospital for several years because of the level of trust I have in them, their caring attitude, and their professionalism.

They've gotten better over the years. Dr. Wieman knew exactly what was wrong with our cat (injection site sarcoma) when she saw her. She was very kind and helpful.

Friendly, helpful and nice vets - tho front desk staff can exhibit poor customer service and then some ...

took my cat in after he got attacked by possibly a raccoon. they are very caring and nice. i feel as if i got my cat the best treatment from them.

I have been taking both my spaniels to Dr Paul for 5yrs now and he's great with them, very calming when they first come in and understands animals & different breeds very well......I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.
