Love this Petco! Not a huge fan of chain pet stores, but this Petco has had the same staff for some time. They help you when you need it and they ask even when you don't. Kudos, Petco! You're earning my business and trust...

This review is way overdue. I live just 7 minutes-drive away from this Petco, and one day around January 2016, after I adopted my second cat from other organization, I came here to find supplies; food, toy, bed, etc.,. While I shopped, couldn’t help but noticed some cats in the back for adoption. I went in just to look around and didn’t have any intention to adopt since I just adopted one the day before. While most of the cats are all adorable happily playing, I noticed a quite one on the corner and she was just sitting there watching. I went over to say hello and pet her and one of the ladies working there told me I could hold her if I wanted to. The cat’s name is Talia. She’s a tabby and quite shy. I loved her the moment I held her. You see, I always have a soft spot in my heart for cats. I decided to take her home with me that same day. The adoption process was a breeze. To this day, 5 years later and counting, Talia has been and still is the best thing that happened to me since at the time I was grieving over my father’s passing just 6 months prior. Talia is grown up now and she is the most adorable kitty. She gives happiness with her adorable poses for photos and her equally adorable belly-showing. She is the most affectionate kitty I’ve ever known and she loves sleeping on my laps amd following me around everywhere. From a quite and shy cat at the store, she turned out to be very talkative with me. ???? I can’t believe the previous owner decided to give her up. How could anyone really? But oh well, she’s a great blessing to me. So, thank you for Talia!

I really like Petco. They have very affordable litter that they encourage you to bring in a reusable tub in order to get a discount, and they always have the cat food that I purchase in stock. Recently, I went to the store and noticed they had cats for adoption in the back corner of the store. I felt so sorry for the poor cats and submitted comments when the company asked for feedback. I got a response within an hour from the store manager who explained that having the cats near a window makes it hard to regulate temperature and that they are taken care of by the non-profit Give Me Shelter. It made me feel so much better, and I was impressed by the outreach. I will be a customer for life.

If you want to keep your fish alive, don't get anything in their tank to put in yours. I got an aquarium plant from them. It took less than a wk for my Betta fish to get sick and die. It spread on him so fast. I gave him three different medicine, but that didn't even slow it down. When I got this Betta fish (that they just killed), within a month he had some issue. The water quality was good so he must have got it even before I brought him. You see dead Betta fish on shelves often. I should have known better. I always had problem getting help from employees here. There were always someone else in fish section waiting for help as I were. I would never step my foot into this place ever again.

It's convenient and decently stocked. Appreciate the refillable kitty litter.

I wanted to finally spend the two, Christmas gift cards given to my fur baby at this store. I was immediately greeted at the door by a staff member. His colleague helped check the balances on each card, however, one card was not reading properly. The full balance was there when I called the 800 number. After I selected my items and brought them to checkout, the same issue occurred with one of the gift cards. Both male employees called a line to have a representative come up with a workaround that totalled my gift card balance. While the visit took longer, I greatly appreciated the customer service I was provided all around. The store was neat and well stocked. They are working with a new system and new in-store promotions.

Employees are in no rush to help anyone, I needed feeders and asked multiple people multiple times for help and every person I asked would just tell me that there would be some one with me shortly yet they never showed. I counted 5 employees two were chatting with each other one at the register and two moving products around, none were helping people meanwhile the fish section had already 3 people needing help aside from me. This was the fourth time that this happened, I usually just leave with purchases for my other animals but no more.

They have the litter I like.

The groomers there are AMAZING. They made my moms 14 yr old Mini Pomeranian look like he was 5 again.

Always fully stocked and very helpful staff.

Rescue dogs from Rocket Rescue at this store. It's been 7 years with my two buddies. We go back to get quality food, toys and treats. Lots and lots of treats. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who can help you out if your buddy decides to "spread their scent".

I love this pet co! All the employees are help and knowledgeable.

One of their female cashiers were extremely rude. She did not care to greet me nor hand over my stuff when I finished paying. I had to take the dog treats off of the scale my self. Not to mention she was talking to another staff member about getting her nails and eyebrows done the next day. Not very pleasant and super unprofessional.

Not as many birds, fish, small animals, reptiles or amphibians as they used to have and the few birds they have are expensive. Hope now that things are returning to normal they will have more variety.

Had to open a pallet sitting in the isles. Ten deep in checkout line really!!!

All their staff is so dog friendly
