Adorable cats — all with different personalities. Some will approach you or let you pet them, others are catnapping :)

I had fun, but it wasn't clear that food had no longer been served. I looked back at the website and after a few clicks I found where it said you no longer served food. Just wish it was bigger and next to where you purchased the tickets on the website. I spent about $100 for me and my fiancee to go pet some cats and have a soda. Again, it was fun, but I would've given a lower score if it wasn't also a shelter.

This is an interesting place. If you don't have pets and want some interactions with cats this is a place to go. They have a little gift shop before you enter the cat area. Inside the cat area is a no shoes area, so it is clean to sit on the floor. I didn't notice any cat hair/fur anywhere too. They have a lot of cats inside and they are all different. Some are playful and some just sit around waiting to be petted. Some just walk away. Overall a good experience. Best part of all, you can adopt certain cats.

Too many people in the room with the cats for me, but everyone wore masks.

Great staff, clean facility and environment! I've been here a few times for their movie night. The cats are treated like royalty. Towards the end of the night the cats aren't as snuggly and cuddly because of all the in and out of different kinds of people.

I absolutely loved visiting KitTea Cat Lounge. The cats were all so sweet and friendly. There were plenty of toys to play with the cats and places to sit. The lounge area was so clean and inviting. The staff was so nice and the whole environment was so welcoming. I highly recommend visiting!

Such a wonderful experience! They have good health protocols in place, too. The people working there when I visited obviously cared a ton about the cats. There were a wide variety of cats and kittens when I visited, and it was fun early in the day to see a lot of them active with toys, etc. I got a delightful snuggle with one cat, and gave plenty of chin scritches. After I was done, I bought a couple of fun cat-themed knick knacks in the lobby. Do visit regardless of whether you're looking for adoptable cats - you're helping support and socialize the cats! :) Side note, check with the cafe ahead of time if you have things you want to donate - they have to be careful with donations for health reasons, but they definitely treat their cats well!

KitTea Cat Cafe is one of the only cat cafes near me, it was a lovely experience but a little bit pricey. Overall, it was very nice:)

Awesome! I highly recommend :) a nice little spot and the cats seem well taken care of. They also have a cool gift shop. Most of the time one of the workers were talking to people about the cats they were interested in and seemed knowledgeable. I had this really cute one that loved to sit on my lap. You can also adopt cats there Wich I think is so awesome. If you are near sf, definitely check this place out!!!

I'll start off by saying that my first visit to the KitTea Cat Lounge was when it was located at the other end of SF. Fast forward to their change of locations.. I decided to visit again since I had loved my last experience so much. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed. The current location is a lot smaller than the older one (which is fine) however this is NO LONGER A CAFE at all. No food is available. In addition, our session was cut about 10 minutes short which I found frustrating given each ticket was $50 for the FULL time advertised. The staff didn't really interact with us even though we were the only ones there and the cats didn't approach us at all. For the entirety of our time there we attempted to get at least one cat's attention but failed. I at least expected the staff to offer us some cat food to help us interact with the little babies and get closer to them but nothing was done in regards to this. Overall left really upset and unfulfilled. I feel like the prices are unfair given what we received.

You spend an hour with adorable friendly cats. What's more to say? Price is a bit high, but worth it.

While the staff here might be decent human beings, there is an obvious lack of customer service experience. There is a sense of a superiority complex going around as they are more familiar with the animals than the guests, which for one, nobody cares, and two procures a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Advertising a 30 minute session and ending 5 minutes early is unacceptable when they are charging the prices they are. It is not an inconvinience, you are expected to work the full session we are paying for regardless if it's near closing time or not. Advertise the slot correctly or work the entire shift, pick one. Lastly, the place isn't really a cafe, the drinks are cans from a fridge, which is fine but shouldn't be advertised as a full-on cafe. All in all, it's an alright place with good intentions. There is a lot of potential here that is yet to be exploited. This place doesn't really blow you away, and going in with that mindset might produce a better experience.

Fun way to spend some time with delightful kitties of all ages. Cute gift shop, too.

They should advertise openly the fact that they have changed locations and are no longer a cafe. They don't serve tea or snacks / desserts anymore and instead have a fridge with canned drinks. I still love the mission but this was very misleading, as someone who has been here before. I thought I was booking for the old KitTea and was so confused when we arrived at the new address. I understand covid must have been hard on this rescue but I personally don't think the entry price is worth it anymore. Most of the adult cats are standoffish or even bite at you. Very few cats available for adoption too. New location is small and dingey, no area for cats to chill out away from guests, litter boxes all in the same room. Hopefully Kittea will bounce back.

I sent in a request for a birthday event and they never gave me a response back in the 36 hours they promised. When I called in to ask about it, the lady seemed like she was in a rush to get me off the phone. She had told me that their event manager takes weekends off and would respond on that day or a day later. It has been 2 days since that and I have not gotten ant emails, not even a confirmation email. I am extremely disappointed because I really wanted to host my birthday here and hangout with my friends and the cats.

Literally the easiest way to relax if you're having a stressful day just respect the cats and they'll be nice back
