High Tail Hotel San Francisco, California

Our pack of dogs cannot get enough of this place! They’ve been going for daycare and boarding (aka “camp”) for the last 6 years and have loved every second. The staff are so caring, and have gone above and beyond countless times when we’ve needed an extra hand or been concerned about the pups while out of town.

Best daycare boarding facility ever! Been taking my pups there for over 7 years for daycare and boarding. Amazing staff!

We love this place, but not nearly as much as our dog does! He knows it by sight and gets so excited when we pull up.

Alan and Victoria are compassionate business owners and lovers of dogs. They saved my dog's life while I was on a trip by noticing something was off with him and immediately taking him to the ER, then opening their home to him to recuperate. I am so appreciative of their care and so grateful my dog is still alive upon my return.

The only place my dog tries to get out of the car to go back inside when we pick her up. She LOVES it!

Hightail Hotel is the best. I can tell not only that they have great people working there but I can barely hold my dog when I get him out of the car to go to the hotel. It is the only place I have ever let my dog stay overnight. He has boarded many times and he is as happy when I pick him up as when I drop him off. If you need daycare or boarding I highly recommend the "Hotel".

My pup went to High Tail over the 7 months we had her and were living in the city. They provided outstanding service and care! She always came home sleepy from a full day of fun. High Tail is trustworthy and is an exceptional doggy daycare. I'm looking forward to visiting the city soon so that my pup can have a reunion with some of her favorite people!

High Tail Hotel is the absolute best. The people are great, caring, professional. Our dog can't wait to get in the door, and returns home blissfully tired. Couldn't live without them!

The best place to let your pup have a play date or an overnight stay. The staff is fabulous and my year and a half old golden retriever can’t wait to get inside and play. Everything you could want for your beloved dog.

I feel very comfortable dropping my dog here for the day or overnight, and my dog loves getting attention, company, and exercise with the friendly folks and pups! There have been times that they reminded me my dog's vaccinations are due before my vet did! We live close to High Tail Hotel so it's convenient -- but even if we didn't, drop-off parking is easy. I'm happy to be able to support this excellent local business.

Took my sweet husky here for years and she loved them all dearly. The highly attentive staff and owners care deeply for each fluff ball and work hard to cater to each dogs needs. They always have someone stay with the dogs for overnights which I highly respected and was different than most dog care facilities.

Great place to board your dog. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and really care about the dogs in their care.

Everyone is super nice and accommodating. We have taken our Cooper to a few different dog “hotels” in the city and this one is top notch. As long as we live in SF we will go here. Love them!

Our dog LOVES it here! She gets excited as soon as we pull in and loves all the great people who work there. We looked at 4 different boarding locations throughout the Bay Area and this one was BY FAR the best.

We love HTH! We have a pit-bull mix and they treat him so well. All of the staff is so friendly and wonderful, and they treat all the dogs super well. We have boarded our dog here numerous times for extended amounts of time, and he loves it! They are the best and we cannot recommend them enough.

We love it here! Our pup thinks that High Tail Hotel is his actual home and that our apartment is actually the hotel. Kidding, but, am I? Everyone who works here is so wonderful and thoughtful and really knows my pup. I feel no stress when my dog is at High Tail. Happy mom :)

Excellent boarding center, but a bit expensive.

Our German Shepherd loves this place. Staff is great!

They take great care of our two precious pups. Always friendly and love our dogs. It does smell, so the dogs get baths as soon as they get home. Also, the costs add up for long trips. All in all, though, we've been loyal customers to High Tail for years now.

Its a safe and friendly place for pets

Kirby hasn't been here in a while, but he enjoys boarding here so much more than places where he is in a kennel all alone at bedtime (we've seen him crying on Webcam all night at other locations). Here he can sleep amongst the other dogs. I'm sure he's thrilled every time. They give a discount for rescues!
