My dog died in their care. Please, do NOT COME HERE. In addition to dying under Dr. Kristy's watch, she also expressed zero compassion towards me and even accused me of saying she was to blame. My baby Daisee is no longer here because I chose to trust this place. Prior to her moving forward with the surgery, I asked Dr. Kristy if there were any risks about the surgery. She was so cocky that she would be fine and even told me that "she has done this many times on older dogs". I am heartbroken and disgusted by this place and the cold vets here. DO NOT BRING YOUR BABIES HERE, this place is a death wish.

Such a wonderful place. Very caring and explain everything perfectly. Everybody who works here are the friendliest.

Hands down the absolute best vet in San Diego. I took my senior boy to quite a few out here and nothing compared to Dr. Lair and Dr. Webb's warmth and love they gave my pup. Very patient, kind and professional. I will always go here as long as i'm in SD.

So good! So helpful. They keep my dog happy. She hates all vets, including them, but they fit her in on a ridiculously booked day due to an emergency. Everyone was amazing. She is so much better 2 days later. Tried 3 emergency places first. All were at capacity. They were as well, bit at least let me describe the issue. Had me come in immediately to fix before it became an abscess

2:30 appoint arrived 2:20. Staff thaey said be right back with check in info. No seating whatsoever ever. St0od till 2:34 no came to. Girl outside said her appoint was at 2pm still waiting. Called me at 2:40 asked where I was, said vet was getting out of surgery soon. Went home to call a establishment more concerned with my time.

We LOVE Dr. Silvaberg and staff!!! We have been seeing her for over 15 years! We trust her with our dogs and know she will do what's best for them!

If you live in OB the convenience of this location cannot be beat. All the staff is friendly and helpful, and I don't know off hand the credentials of the vets but my dog sees Dr Silvaberg and she comes across as very experienced. Her calm and friendly demeanor is a huge plus. Due to these factors, I would seriously consider continuing to use SCAH as my go-to for veterinary care even if we moved out of OB but a clinic 5 blocks away from home is just too convenient to bother taking my dog elsewhere.

Caring and happy people here calm the animals that come. Great vet clinic.

Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. The doctors have a great "bedside" manner. You can tell they really care about your pet and you. They do Everything to help your pet feel better and do not try to upsell. We've been bring our dogs and cats to them for 25 years!

My 1yr old French bulldog had just got attacked this vet wouldn't even look at him as he was bleeding everywhere what kind of vet cares that little

A++. Absolutely great facility and care, especially for bulldogs.

We have taken our dog there for a year and a half and not had any problems until recently. Our dog had a bump, so we took him to the vet. They told us he had a UTI, put him on antibiotics for 1 week and did a culture to confirm the antibiotics would be effective. After a week, our dog completed his antibiotics but we never were called about the culture results. We had to call multiple times before we were told that our dog would need more antibiotics. In the meantime, our dog has been off antibiotics for 4 days, which should have never happened because they had the results but didn’t bother calling us. I will never take my dog there again. What could have happened if we didn’t continue to call for the culture results? Not to mention we spent a lot of money to get a culture. Extremely disappointed and worried for anyone’s pet who is brought there. Complete negligence on their part.

We have been bringing our dog here for 14 years. They are caring and supportive. They have great staff, doctors and facilities. We will always bring our animals here.

Great place to park in front of for the Farmer’s market on Wednesdays. I’ve never been inside but I’m sure they do good work.

I've had different doctors over the years but everyone is kind and professional. I've had everything from a normal check up to having surgery for my cat and was always treated with kindness and understanding. I recommend them to everyone

Been going to Sunset Cliffs Animal Hospital for over 10 years. Fantastic staff with Dr. Damm and Dr. Berg being fantastic at what they do. Definitely feel confident placing my loved ones in their care. Highly reccomend!

Great availability and hours, they can always squeeze me in. The staff is courteous and on it. While I'd rather not visit as often as I do, they're great!
