Loveable dogs and wonderful people!

The work that they do with their animals is wonderful my only personal issue is they don't have very many dogs that passed the child testing. I've seen a lot of the shelters become almost empty during covid and now they're starting to fill up again. Please help I adopting a friend for life.

Second Chance Dog Rescue was fantastic! Extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions or concerns. I am very happy with my adopted dog from them! They are an outstanding group of motivated volunteers.

This organization sometimes goes to the store I train at, and everyone who volunteers is lovely and ready to answer questions. The rehoming fee is a necessary thing not just to help cover costs of care, but to dissuade people looking for a animal for nefarious reason to pick one up cheap and quick. However, it's still pretty reasonable and affordable to the average family. I'm looking to get a 2nd dog in a few months, and will definitely make sure to check back and call to ask questions about the dogs available to get a hood match.

Great peeps working hard to bring these sweet pups up from Mexico. The networking is awesome. Cabo needed surgery on her hip and she had to go down to Ensenada for surgery. Between her foster mom here, Holli, and her foster mom in Ensenada, Elizabeth, we finally got her in our arms! Cabo was rescued from Cabo San Lucas! She’s funny, smart and loves her home! Thanks to all!????????????????

We got this wild dog over a year ago, his foster parents did everything they could to make sure we were ready to take him. We couldn't be happier.

Never had the chance to visit because of the quarantine but will do so once everything opens up again.

They are great! We got our rescue dog from them. The foster was super nice. We had a great experience.

We adopted a beautiful pup from here and can't say enough great things about them. We reached out to Sarah who helped us schedule two meetings with pups, one that wasn't even listed on their site yet. They allow a two week foster to adopt program to make sure you and your future family member get along. Great communication and adoption system.

Needs improvement, the navigation and user experience can use an upgrade and be refreshed. Also and unfortunately mostly all large dog breeds and the small dog breeds are all for the most part very elderly dogs. Which creates for a painful situation when they die on you after you already fell in love with that awesome pet.

Second chance dog rescue was great. I saw the dog i wanted text them about him, within the hour i had a response. I was a bit concerned over how far away the dog was they told me not to worry they would bring him to me and they did.Dianne is a super person along with the foster Sarah. I would highly recomend them. I have my Walter now and couldnt be happier. Thanks for the work you do to save these animals.

I was just checking it out. I will say this. this place has the highest "rehoming" fees I've ever seen

I apologize for putting a negative review on this site. I have never been to this rescue. And am revising it to reflect a 5 star rating This agencys name is similar to St Pacos Second Chance Dog Rescue (I recommend that no one use this adoption agency, you can see my review on yelp)

Food was outstanding as was our server Steve on Friday night. It was busy but he was great. (Thank you for not singing Happy Birthday). We all traded tastes!

Dedicated rescue organization. No dogs kept in kennels... They're all in foster homes. A great organization to Foster for and adopt from.
