During my move I forgot my litter box for my cat, I was able to find one and get everything I needed for my little fur baby

Clean store, helpful associates...would've given 5 stars, but there were several out-of-stock items. In particular, what I needed at the time. ????

Poor customer service. There is clearly a pick up sign in store that I waited at. Employee failed to greet or acknowledge me so I resorted to calling for curbside pick up and they brought my order out to my car quicker than dismissive cashier.

Where the pet people go. Always friendly and helpful. We always find the best dog treats and our cat insist on her favorite catnip from there. Thank you for helping us take care of your pets/children.

I always go straight to the clearance area first. Found a cute collar for my Jack Russell Terrier for only $4.00.

This is one of my favorite Petcos in San Diego for several reasons. 1) They have a good selection of fish, including some saltwater fish. 2) They have other animals like parrots, rodents and even chameleons! 3) They have plenty of supplies for cats and dogs. 4) This is one of my main reasons for coming to this store for my pet needs!!! This store is located next to a large PetSmart and Pet-kingdom ( the best store for fish FYI.) So if I can’t get what I need here I know I can just go a min or two to the other stores!

This store looks glamorous at first, but when you pay attention to the details, you will notice some glaring red flags. Petco should not be selling conures. They don't have the resources to properly take care of them. These birds are as smart as dogs, but are kept in small dark cages with no toys or human interaction. Find a reputable breeder instead. The aquariums are nice and well stocked with both salt and freshwater fish, but if you go to their aquatic plant section, you will notice that most of the plants are dead or dying, and some of the plants are just covered in mold. This is a chain store that obviously prioritizes profits over ethics, and that's fine for most items, but they're crossing a line by selling animals as smart as conures. There's a reason why these chain stores are no longer allowed to sell dogs.

Love this store. Not going to Petco when I've got this. There's even a giant tortoise hanging out in a large pen made just for him.

My friend and I went to this Petco location a few times throughout September and October, stocking up for our fur babies from their Halloween collection. We absolutely loved the experience every time as there is one employee who works at this location - Sheri - who is SO sweet and friendly, and very welcoming. It's a delight to talk with her and her customer service is excellent. Thank you so much for making our day every time! Everyone else at this location is also very friendly - the store is clean, and typically well stocked.

Overpriced and staff was rude. Lindsey was very condescending, short, clearly didn't want to help or be there! Will be taking my dogs to petsmart from now on!

Able to deal with my dog's attitude when he gets his nails trimmed.

Heres another example of petco out doing themselves again by greeting me with a smile and being just too darn helpful when i walked in. Paid way too much for the items om my list but who cares when your walking on clouds.

There was a problem with my online order. One of the items was not pulled, but I was charged for it. The manager quickly took care of it. Love the staff at the Sports Arena, San Diego store!

I went here for some dog things and I ended up with a chameleon, Rango

Go here frequently. They seem to change the dog food selection fairly often. This time I noticed more freezers/coolers along the wall with raw food than before. Seem to be low on merchandise fault often, either so popular stuff flies off the shelf or they have low inventory issues. But I have come here for years and wlli probably continue.

If you have family members of the furry, scaly, or feathered kind, then this is the place you want to go, to pick up all of their must have items. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable.

Can you buy a ferret here??

There leashes are a little over priced but there okay. Overall this store is 4 star
