After moving to San Diego in 2017, I started using Fur The Love of Your Pet to take care of my two cats anytime I travel, and I’ve had a wonderful experience. I’ve had both Maria and Linda cat-sit for me, and both of my cats know and love both of them. It’s such a relief to know when you’re away from home that your pets are safe. I always receive a notification of the sitter’s GPS location when they arrive at my house and at least a couple of cute photos of my cats, along with a message with any notes or questions. Maria also offers nail cutting services and did a great job with ours on her last visit. Highly, highly recommend this business for your pet-sitting needs!

Maria is fabulous! She’s reliable and always makes sure to send us updates on our sweet baby girl, complete with reports and funny pictures. Fur the love of your pet is just wonderful! Maria (and Linda too) have been taking care of our sweet puppy during the work day a few times a week. They provide midday visits for Bodie to play and potty. They are prompt, provide pictures and updates of how Bodie is doing, and genuinely care about the wellbeing of our boy, which is priceless. How do i start by saying Maria is great. I've never had a dog walker before and was looking for a great one. I downloaded wag, rover and ultimately found Maria on yelp. She first came over and met my dog and she was great off the back. My dog instantly loved her. I set up an appointment and she came over right on time and sent picture of my dog. She let me know how the walk went and at the end send a check list of what my dog did. Example, pee , poop. She makes sure she has plenty of water and gives her treats as I asked her too. Recently it was my dogs birthday and out of the kindness of her heart she brought my dog a treat. I honestly don't know what else anyone would look for in a dog walker than charismatic, loving , and super friendly. I highly recommend you chose her as your dog walker!!

When we discovered Fur the Love Of Your Pet it came from staff in our long time vet’s office. What a find! For the last 2 years Maria, whose soul is deeply entangled with her furry friends, has reliably fed, played with, and handled other well-being duties as needed by our kitties. She was invaluable when taking on end-of-life maintenance fluids and medications for our 18 yr old cat while we needed to be out of town. She has kept up in her formal training as a vet tech. Each visit is documented real time over her cell phone to us showing a gps map with her current location, a brief description of our kitty’s health along with a photo, and the time checking into the house and leaving the house. She has good communication skills, good attention to the cat’s needs, and a real love for her furry charges. Do not hesitate to trust your pet to Maria!

Maria and team have been caring for my pup for about two years now, and it's given me ease of being away from home during the work day for so many hours. She always notifies me when she's onsite and how things went while she was there, and her communication is very reliable. I also appreciate that she's bonded, certified, and insured as it gives me peace of mind to know there are reliable people in my home taking care of things when I'm not there. My dog also super appreciates the treats, belly rubs, and attention she gets!

Maria has been marvelous with my boy Codee. I wouldn't be able to concentrate at work without having her! She is a truly caring, knowledgable person when it comes to our dog, always going above and beyond, noticing anything that might be wrong with him, and always making sure he is happy and cared for. Our family LOVES Maria & Fur the Love of Your Pet!! She has been taking care of our fur babies for almost 4 years now and she is part of the family. Maria, the owner of this business was the first person to get back to me and meet with me. I have 2 dogs-one was abused from a shelter (Elaine) the other one is blind and a little quirky. (Zoe) Elaine responded fabulously to Maria and CeCe-a testament to their gentle nature...Zoe, who will never walk with anyone except me, allowed either of them to take her out-both very impressive feats. I've been hiring Maria for pet sitting of my two kitties for about a year now. She is wonderful with my kitties and they love her! Maria has pet sat for me while on extended trips, Most recently though, she swooped in and saved the day while I had a medical emergency and was hospitalized. I was out of kitty litter and on my way to buy more when I had to go to the ER. I contacted Maria from the hospital and she was able to pick up litter and feed my cats. Have been using Maria for about 4-5 years now so this review is long overdue. Maria does a great job looking after our kitties every time we go out of town. She is flexible and easy going and most importantly an animal lover. I could tell the minute I met her. I have been pleased each time I use her. Her services also include: picking up the mail, watering plants, food water play time with your pet, leaving daily notes, and she even texts us pic updates! Leaving my kitties for a long time is hard enough, but knowing they are in good hands with Maria means the world to us! You won't go wrong with her.

Maria comes over to walk our 140 pound bull mastiff, Oliver. She texts me when she arrives, and will share a picture of her and Oliver out on their walk. Always courteous, always professional, always concerned about Oliver's health and well being, Maria is the only dog walking service I would ever use.
