Maui loves daycare! Never wants to leave, but comes home nice and tuckered out!

Update: It turns out that the documentation I provided did have proof of the rabies shot they said was missing. So not only did they handle the situation poorly, they also made a mistake reading the documentation I provided them with and turned me away for no reason at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. I just arrived for the first day with my dog at 7:30 AM. Apparently they sent an email early this morning letting me know that my vaccination paperwork for my pup was not up to date.they said the list I provided was missing proof of a rabies shot. (I had previously requested full vaccination records from my vet and uploaded them to the Dog Days portal the previous week). When I arrived they let me know that they could not accept my dog without proof of a rabies shot (which I completely understand). I couldn’t check the document I uploaded because I didn’t have it on hand so took their word for it. The real issue is with how they handled the situation. I had received an appointment confirmation Text at 6:35 am so I left my house around 6:45. Somewhere between there and when I arrived, they apparently sent an email saying proof of rabies shot was missing from his paperwork and they could not accept him. I would think that something like this would warrant a phone call / voicemail at the very least. I’m not sure who is checking their email before 7 am anyways, especially after I still received a text this morning confirming the appointment. This ordeal not only costed me my time, but also a significant amount of money from having my arrangements foiled last second. If anyone from this business is listening, do a better job of communicating with your customers. The two people at the front desk had terrible customer service akin to a teenager in their first customer service job. Their only response and rebuttal was “we open at 6:30”. They couldn’t explain why I wasn’t contacted earlier about the issue or why I never received a phone call. Was I supposed to call and confirm my appointment after receiving a confirmation text at 6:35? Either way I decided to not do business with them in the future. If you can’t even handle smooth intake for new customers, I’d hate to see what happens if there is an actual problem while my dog was staying there. Anyone reading this, be careful, and make sure you constantly call to confirm everything is okay for your first appointment, even if they tell you it is all set.

Amazing experience. My girl needs slow initiations and then is great to play with everyone. The staff made sure she was ready to play and they gave me a thorough report card afterwards to let me know how she did. I will definitely be returning when we need more play days.

Was looking for a new place for social interaction for my pup and this place was amazing. Having a husky mix he can be loud and curious and they were so supportive of that. We can't wait to make this a weekly occurrence so he can make friends and be stimulated.

My golden retriever enjoyed the day care provided by Dog days. He came home tired and happy. He always looked forward to going back again the next morning. I would recommend these guys for their thoroughness, professionalism and care they provide.

Both my boys were snoring happily about 2 minutes after I picked them up. Captain was a little nervous and timid at first, then tried to dominate the other dogs. Rather than give up on him, the staff let him spend the rest of the day warming up and making friends. By the end, he was happily and confidently playing with the other dogs. Great first day.

Called and left voicemail for three days straight trying to get my dog set up because I’m new to the area. The night before I start my new job at 6:30pm they let me know that they rejected my appointment even though I went through all the proper steps on the website. When an associate finally called me they said they didn’t receive any of my calls. When I let him know of the number I called from they called he pretty much just said I can’t help you. Thank you for putting me in a tough spot and hope the other dogs enjoy their time.

My puppy has been going to dog days a couple days a week for about 4 months now. She is excited to get dropped of everyone time!! The grooming services are awesome and I genuinely feel like they know my dog.

Our pup loves this place. Like that it is a one-stop situation. Can pick our pup up bathed and nails clipped at the end of the day. Have even boarded her and she did very well...and she probably would have stayed there forever.

After moving to San Diego I needed to find Sage a new dog daycare for my busy days of work. I feel so lucky to have found dog days! The staff is friendly, the first day is free, and they go the extra mile to give you report cards, post photos, and even have a livestream! I could tell my dog had so much fun, and they even checked in because his nails were needing to be trimmed and offered to schedule that service the next time he came in. Overall very happy with my first day with them, and feel like my dog will be loved and cared for here!

Our pup Capri loves camp! Even after a half day she is zonked for the day. While she only goes every once in awhile she has been going since she was a little puppy, and the workers comment on how big she’s gotten. Makes us feel good that they take the time to get to know each pup.

I really wanted to start socializing my dog and I wanted to make sure I found a clean, safe, and friendly place. They were so friendly at the front office, they were so sweet to my dog, so many pictures, they give the cutest report cards, and after picking up my dog, you can tell he just had the best time. I’m so happy I took him there!

My 11-month-old Boston, Pearl, LOVES Dog Days! She practically leaps out of the car before we even get there. She's been going there 3 times a week for months. Every single person working there is fantastic. They are all so friendly, competent and clearly love the dogs. They even have kiddie pools to keep the dogs cool in the summers. They always keep you apprised of what's happening with your pup and notify you when they need their nails clipped. You can NOT go wrong with Dog Days!!

It puts my mind at ease being able to drop Porkchop off there, and I don’t leave him with too many people. He may not like the initial drop off of me leaving but he can’t dart out the room any quicker to go play with the other dogs. They take care of his ears and nails along with his bath so nicely. He is so exhausted and dog tired once he’s home.

We have been taking our dog since he was cleared with all his shots at 4 months. It has really helped his socialization and he loves going there. We tried out another place one day and he didn’t seem the same when we picked him up. It makes us happy that he is happy when we drop him off at Dog Days and when we pick him up. You just know he is being cared for.

This is one of the most friendly, cleanest, and well run dog daycares I have experienced. It is clear that they put a lot of thought and effort into everything they do. The large amount of pictures at the end of the day are awesome as well!!! I love this place and so does my pup Penny.

Happy people! Happy dogs! Great service, with detailed report cards that capture the essence of both of our dogs.

Don't show up late! Tried using this place several times for my dogs first day..turned away. Your email reminder is very vague and misleading. When it says a minimum of a 5 hour stay from 8:30 - 7:00 that's what I assume it is... a window. Our dog community will be going somewhere else. And anyone reading this should too! Dr. Boyds and Camp-run-a-Mutt are better facilities with bigger spaces and friendlier staff. Bad business is to turn down business.

Today I dropped off my 4 month old Lab Duckie for her first day trial. When I picked her up her she was as happy as can be tail wagging and all. Within seconds of being in the car she immediately fell asleep. I am super happy to find a place where I feel comfortable leaving my pup. The staff there is super friendly and you can tell how much they love dogs. We will definitely be a regular customer. Thank you dog days for all that you do!!

From the initial inquiry, to drop-off, to report card, and finally pick up, everyone was so nice and accommodating! It's right off the freeway, and their add-on services are great additions for high energy dogs like mine!

Dog Days always provides great and friendly service. I can trust and count on them to take care of my dogs, even my dog with IVDD. My pups and I are lucky to have Dog Days in our lives.

Dog days it the best doggie daycare in San Diego. The people who work there TRULY care about dogs and dog behaviour. They are constantly educating themselves beyond what “a daycare” is expected to do and I am very grateful for the entire team. Their instagram commentary deserves an award, so if you aren’t here for the dogs, do it for the gram.

My pups favorite place to spend an afternoon! She literally tries to jump out of the car when we pull into the parking lot. Staff are extremely friendly. It’s always a quick in and out for drop off and they always answer all my questions. I know my dog is well taken care of while she’s there for the day!

Took my high energy medium dog to Dog Days for the first time and he loved it. Staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. I got a report of his day in an email which was so nice because it’s not like he can tell me himself. And he seemed happy and tired when I picked him up.

The staff treat you and your pets like family! Cider loves going to play and I never worry when she stays for boarding. The daily outings are. Great add-on to keep your pup stimulated. I am so glad I found them and Cider ???? is happy too!!! ????
