Paws Pet Resort San Clemente, California

My family has been using Paws Pet Resort San Clemente for over three years for our boarding and grooming needs. During this time, our dogs have had the opportunity to develop fantastic relationships with all of the staff; this has been instrumental in maintaining their well-being and comfort, especially during longer boarding stays. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to board our dogs long term while we were overseas and Paws was nothing short of amazing during what was a very stressful situation. My dogs received personalized love and attention daily, playgroup time, treats on their birthdays, maintained their same diet, and had veterinary care when needed. They even enjoyed private guitar concerts by a talented staff member, which one of my dogs especially liked. Jessie was my lifeline and communicated with me multiple times per week with pictures and video updates of my pups, which was absolutely amazing…I am so grateful for you, Jessie, thank you! All of the staff went above and beyond and became extended family to us, and I never had to worry about the health and well-being of my pets because I knew they were receiving the best care at Paws. Paws Pet Resort is a one-of-a-kind place with the BEST staff, there is no place better to entrust the care of your pets; if I could give them ten stars, I would! I cannot recommend Paws enough! We have been so blessed by every staff member, thank you for everything over the years!

Our fur baby was well cared for and got lots of attention!! The staff and trainers are very caring. The facility is clean and each pup has their own room with a little bed! We will definitely use them again!

This is a long overdue review! I’ve been taking my dog Bentley there since he was 10 weeks old. He is now a year old and has grown up with Paws. I trust them more than myself with my dog and I couldn’t recommend it more. They pay attention to your dogs, give lots of cuddles, are accommodating, and care a lot. All the employees are so sweet! Thanks for everything and all the help!

I worked as an employee at paws pet resort for about 4 to 5 months, before having to move back to my home state in michigan over family matters. I wish I could have worked their much longer! Honestly probably the most enjoyable work experiences I've ever had! All the staff there is very friendly, reasonable, fair, respectful, professional, and engaging in thire work ethic. Everyone their addores the dogs, and takes great joy in taking care of them, with love for their work. All the animals are very well taken care of. Treated to specific conditions, often outlined by the owners exact wishes. Providing a pool, activity area, regular grooming, walks, well kept rooms if the dog stays over night, and a place to play with other dogs during the day. All areas of the facility are cleaned regularly through out the day and kept in immaculate condition. If your considering finding a place to leave your pet for the day while at work, or even a couple of weeks while on vacation I 100% recommend Paws Pet Resort! If you are looking for a place to work, where your treated well I'd recommend it even more, so long as you don't mind working with dogs obviously. Jessy the head maneger is very kind, friendly, warm hearted, and fair to all her employees! Even the owner who I had the the pleasure of meeting several times, is also very welcoming, friendly, and fun to talk to. Seth the head dog trainer dose a great job interacting and training the dogs thire. All the managers are very fair and easy to deal with and talk to. And the staff as a whole takes great care of the dogs, and are fun to work with. Weather a customer or someone looking for work. Paws Pet Resort is a great choice, as a business to turn to. Run exceptionally well, reliable, and great to work for! Still miss working with everyone there!

Just moved to town with an Old English Sheepdog in dire need of a groom. She had the same groomer for 8 years and this was her first time. She looked GREAT and was as relaxed as ever when we picked her up. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Thanks for taking such good care of her, Paws!

Love this place when my dog needs a play date

Our dog Charlie loves to come here. He plays/trains twice a week. The staff know him by name and are always happy to see him. He’s responding really well to the training. Happy pup! Happy mom!

Our boy Scout gets so excited as we arrive. He currently goes 2-3 times a week. We have taken advantage of the training offered during the day with Seth and Scout is much improved. The front desk staff is friendly, well organized and has a great memory as they always know my boy.

Outstanding customer service. We felt safe leaving our pet overnight at this establishment. Highly recommended.

My dog absolutely loves this place. She practically runs to greet the office staff and hardly wants to say goodbye to me when I drop her off. It's a great place for boarding, baths or just day care.

Best place ever for day care or boarding I never seen my dog more happier or well taken care anywhere else. I reccomend this place to any one if you want your dog safe , to have a good time and want amazing customer service. I appreciate the staff a lot for being so kind and friendly. I will always bring my dog here. I couldn't see my dog sometimes so they sent me the best pictures I ever gotten( he had a big smile on one) above and beyond best staff they also flushed my dogs ears without me having to ask!(: If I could rate 10 stars I would ! ( San Clemente location haven't gone to the other one yet)

Paws San Clemente has changed my life. They are the only facility I trust with my dogs. The staff is professional, passionate, kind, and knowledgeable. They work with your dogs needs and love what they do. The fact that I’m able to see my dog on cam if I please makes all the difference. Their prices are the same as dog walkers that offer a mere hour or two. Paws is amazing!

Protect your Pet! Stay away from here!! Based on reviews and a pre-board visit we brought our 2 dogs here for a weekend stay. When we picked up our furry babies one of them had been bitten! He had a large puncture wound under his chin and the matching in his ear. He had another set of not as serious bite wounds in his ear. We had voiced our concern to them about knowing how to keep our midsize passive puppy safe. We hoped they were professionals and knew how to make sure that he was safe. When we picked them up and saw a problem they dismissed us and rushed us off. The only time they were cooperative was when the vet called them having to treat my dog of a bite that happened at their facility. My dog is ok and healing now but I wanted to let people know so that they can read this and keep looking elsewhere! Shame on Paws Pet Resorts! I hope you get shut down or better training!!!

The staff were unable to handle simple behavior modification with our dogs. Their solution to minor negative behaviors was to cage the dogs instead of simply correcting the dogs. Unprofessional....

I cannot imagine taking my Cali anywhere else. Ever.

Our girls LOVE PAWS and so do we!! We've been taking them there for 2 years and the staff couldn't be better. We've had last minute reservations, changes in reservations when flights were delayed and every time the staff is helpful and accommodating. Our girls look forward to going and don't even look back when we drop them off. That makes us feel so much better knowing they are happy and well taken care of when we are away. When we pick them up, they are always happy and tired from all the play time. Can't say enough good things about PAWS. Thanks for taking care of our girls.

Our doggies love Paws! Every time we bring them they know where they're going and get super excited! When we bring them home, they're definitely tired out from playing all day! Haven't had a bad experience yet! I definitely recommend bringing your dogs to Paws!
