They didn’t take care of my dog in the right way…..they didn’t know what my dog had regardless that they did some blood work

Best veterinary service I have been to in a long time. I formerly owned several dogs and have now become a cat owner. The wait time was incredibly short and I was done with a wellness check in less than 30 minutes. Reception area has very nice workers and the doctor that treated my cat was very informative and helpful, and the receptionist on the phone - I believe her name was Diana, was very nice and thorough. Thorough instruction from vet assistants and head vet. I was only in the reception area for less than 10 minutes. Inexpensive compared to other clinics I’ve been to in the past. Happy to be a client here!

They are friendly and nice for the most part. There is one receptionist that is kind of mean especially on the phone. If you have an appointment be ready to wait for maybe 40 minutes to even get a call to go into the lobby. The visits are sometimes more then an hour long. It can be expensive, and they usually don't have a payment plans. However, they are easier to transfer information between VCAs. If you need a same day appointment your only option is the 8 am call list. Otherwise, they are usually booked months ahead.

Tried to make an appointment and the lady on the phone just started complaining about iy being busy today. Ok well so is everybody else. Glad i dont have to worry about my dog being neglected vecause there too busy.

A few years ago my baby got hit by a car and they were able to save her! I’m grateful for that however it did cost me and arm and a leg . I called recently to set to an appt to get her fixed and they gave me a rough estimate, which I was fine with cause I didn’t think it would be way over than what they estimated me at. I get to the appt and the dr said she was healthy and told me a nurse would give me an estimate. The price they gave me was $700 more than what they quoted me on they wanted to charge $1100 to fix my dog! That’s insane. You would expect those prices in high income areas so I’m not sure why they are charging this price. Overall if you can afford to come here it’s wonderful for the rest of you you’re out of luck.

They treats dogs like family. The vets are caring and gentle ????

Caring but communication skills sometimes are late in coming due to the restrictions. But excellant care for my dog

Friendly service. You can tell they really care about your animal. They do everything they can to help with all your needs, even doing their best to mitigate the high cost of pet care.

They do not allow you to go in with pet. This is very disturbing especially since they say "due to covid" but you see them go from one carrier to another without hand sanitizing.

The staff was very professional, pleasant and informative. I feel very comfortable bringing my pets here for their future needs. I recommend this hospital to anyone that loves their fur baby

Just want to say thanks to VCA for helping my pregnant cat a few weeks back. We didn't have a lot of money for the extra tests my cat needed so she went ahead and prescribed antibiotics that would be would help her and be safe for her kittens. She has been recovered after going through her prescription and acting like a happy pregnant cat again! We expect her to give birth very soon! Thanks for having that coffee machine available when I was super stressed about her being sick too :') very clean and modern looking pet hospital ????

A little pricey! However, the excellent care and treatment our dogs receive is exceptional.

I love this place, always friendly and they take great care of my pup.

They have literally saved our dogs lives. All the staff is extremely focused on the care of your pet - from front desk to vet techs to the vet doctors. We always recommend this practice to others based on our first hand experience with any/all of the doctors.

Just a shout out for keeping my baby in a safe place for healing. I would recommend the VCA to all in the area they are concerned for your loved ones wellfare.

This place is amazing. I drove 65 miles one way on a good recommendation from a friend about VCA Northside Animal Hospital. First of all everything is very clean, better than a hospital making me feel even more comfortable that everything is well taken care of. All staff members from the front desk to the doctor give a hundred and 100% and beyond. You feel like you're treated like family and so do your animals. I will definitely be recommending VCA to all of my friends and family as the care that you get for your animal is the most important.

Do you guys specialize in guinea pigs?

Northside came HIGHLY recommended from the emergency vet in Highland (who is also AWESOME).

I haven't been in since they moved but I have relied on this place to help me with all my pets.. Yes I have more than one.. Jellybean is the main baby and I failed to get her shots on time she got parvo they caught it and helped me save her life.. I'll forever be grateful. I just realized she's been breathing weird so I wanted to take her in for a check up just to make sure everything is ok. I was reading some of the reviews and I just want to say no one has ever been rude always very helpful which is important especially when your already upset because something is wrong with your baby. Anyways I'll be booking a health check up for Jellybean this week.. I thank you for your service.

I've been taking my dogs to VCA Northside for over 16 years, from the time it was located on 40th Street in San Bdno. In the past I really loved and trusted VCA with my dogs. Usually, the people who answers the phones at VCA are kind and helpful. Today, I called VCA Northside to get a refill on my dog's eye medication. Diane/Diana answered the phone, she was rude and unhelpful didn't care at all to assist me with getting the eye drops refilled. With people like her working at VCA Northside, it makes me nervous to just drop off my dog for medical issues. It's too bad after 16 years of good service that VCA has hired someone who has left a bad impression on their customer service.

This is the best place to go to take your pets . They genuinely care for your pets as if they were their own

I have taken my animals to VCA Northside Animal Hospital for over seven years. The Vet Assistants and Vet's are just wonderful. In fact everyone that works there are wonderful also. No complaints and my two animal's have never complained also. I highly recommend this hospital.

I have been with this Vet for years. Precautions are great during Covid.
