Barks and Bubbles Pet Salon Salinas, California

I have been a long time customer of barks and bubbles, just called in to take a new puppy that ways more than 20 pounds and for whatever reason they are not taking new dogs over 20 pounds. Not good business when you reject a long time customer not good business I told the girl I would take my business somewhere else and she didn’t care so unprofessional I guess that’s what happens when you get too big..

I’ve taken my dogs multiple times and they do an ok job I found a new one that doesn’t make him itch tho my dog has sensitive skin and the shampoo or something leaves him itchy but that is not their fault so overall good place to go

Hope is my dogs Groomers. She is fantastic and very kind to my fur babies. I have a challenging poodle and she is so very patient with her!

Totally uncompassionate and didn’t feel like they genuinely cared about fostering a relationship with me as a new client. All the dogs looked terrified, it was very loud and my dog wanted nothing to do with them upon setting foot into their facility and he gets is perfectly fine going other places. The receptionist body language and demeanor left me feeling like all they cared about was making money and completing the transaction. So disappointed.

Worst place to take your loving dog. This is the second time that I have taken my dog here. I always have to provide them with my own shampoo they make me wait 3 hours to pick up my dog. But that’s not the worst part we have discovered in two Occasions that we have taken him he comes back with a red bumpBumps on him we took him about two days ago and when he got home we noticed that there was a really bad red spot on his ear I went ahead and checked it and it look like somebody had cut them inside the ear he was bleeding never take your dog is there it’s a waste of time worst place to ever go to if you really love your pet did not ever take him there

Wouldn't go anywhere else. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Hope is great with my dog Itsy Bitsy.

Armando was wonderful and very careful with my dog. She was 12 and had congestive heart failure. He took special care of her to keep her calm and happy. It wasn't like other groomers who want to do it fast. Unfortunately, Roxy passed away, so Armando gave her the last grooming. If I get another dog, Armando will be our go to groomer.

Ana is our go too ! She is always so caring and understandable to our dogs needs. All the staff goes the extra mile to remember our dog.

In hindsight this place isn't much to look at but let face it grooming dogs can be a dirty job. Driving by it, you could miss this place if you blink. Small parking lot right in front so parking here isn't an issue. Every few months I book an appointment for my shepherd to be groomed by Ana who is one if the best in my opinion. My furry family member comes back looking all fresh and smelling good... I have taken my shepherd to other groomers and places in the past and had my dog returned looking groomed but still had that smelly dog smell. Groomer Ana is Solid and knows her craft. We (the dog and I) will keep coming back here as long as she is the groomer. This isn't to knock the other employees here as I haven't used them and I can not speak for their work. Good place... good work and without the snob attitude.

My baby loves going to see her groomer. My puppy has separation anxiety. Her groomer clams her down and does her best to get her in and out as fast as possible. The prices are reasonable and service is always with a smile. Jen is the best.

My rat terrier mix has major anxiety when it comes to grooming his nails but they are all so kind and patient with my Max this is my go to place compared to any other groomers I've taken him to. They accept debit, credit and cash for appointments, walk-ins have to pay cash.

Love it here they always grrom my dog how i want it and she smells so good after. They take really good care of her for a great price too. Make sure to bring cash to make it easier

I used to take my puppy for his grooming to petsmart but the groomer told me he would bite a lot and she told me they wouldn't accept him anymore if he continued the "bad" behavior. So I decided to not take him to petsmart grooming anymore. I brought him here to Barks and Bubbles for the first time. I was very satisfied immediately with the customer service and with the attention he was given when we walked in, which is what petsmart lacks.The staff is very kind and friendly, and had no complaints with my puppy's behavior! They gave him a great haircut and have great pricing! In the short visit I had here, it is clear to me that for my future visits I will continue to be satisfied with their service. I highly reccomend Barks and Bubbles!

I told the groomer I wanted my Maltese to be light and fluffy, with just a wash and a trim for her coat to make it clean. They cut her very short instead. My Saint Bernard had his nails trimmed here and they cut one of the claws too short and he was bleeding from it. I will not be taking my dogs here again.

Hope does a great job with our Yorkie!
