Great care, Dr. S. Is very thorough and caring of our pets, have gone their for many years.

We took out elderly sick dog here to be put down. The vet was rude and lacked compassion. He refused to give our dog pain killers before the euthanasia. Her last noise after nearly 20 years was a loud yelp before she passed. Absolutely disgusted with this vet and I would recommend taking your animals literally anywhere else.

I have been taking Hopper (dog) to Upper Valley Animal clinic for 15 yrs. and Dr. Stelvasky is the best! He is trustworthy, caring and seems to go the extra mile for his clients/pets. He truly loves animals. Staff is very caring and friendly as well.

The Vet. Dr. JOSEPH STALBASKY ( I hope I spelled correctly) is one hard working and busy doctor, he trests each pet as if it's his own! The rest of the crew are every bit as devoted to pet care. ????

After our first visit to Dr. Stelbasky's office and we have found our new vet home! The office was able to get us seen on fairly short notice, especially considering the restrictions that COVID has placed on all businesses. Everyone was wearing masks, they kept the waiting room clear of people, and everything was clean. In addition to this, and more importantly, everyone was friendly and I feel like we got the best care our pup has ever had. From the exam, to the x-rays, to the treatment options, everything was done and explained with care. It is clear that the doctor, vet techs, and everyone there truly cares about the animals that come through their doors. We are so glad that Upper Valley Animal Clinic was recommended to us and that our old girl is feeling better and on the road to recovery.

Ive been comming here for 5 years .Dr.Joseph is really a great vet.My Baby Bear needed a complicated sugery and he did it perfectly .He always is so loving to my doggy.The staff is always helpful too with good advice ,friendly smiles and speedy service .I'm a dog sitter and my dog sit dogs love comming to see Dr.Joseph too !

Great people. They care about your furry babies

I live in Calistoga, and these folks are in St Helena;; just a hop away. They are always open, for, for sure when I really needed them during outages and I needed special food my little guy Luigi. I can count on them & everyone is super nice so far so I decided to establish myself with them instead get a hold of of the Veterinarian in Calistoga. I would have like to stay in Calistoga but not if I can't get a hold of the Veterinarian in Luigi s most time & need. Hello Upper Valley. Luigi gets his nails clipped on Monday, and hopefully they will get his fancy pants under control so I can then keep up with them.

Will never go to a different Vet. Every one is terrific.

They are friendly and efficient.

Charged for 3 visits, several MED'S, and x-ray, and meds never received, and my dog cough has only gotten worse.from Sept - now JAN 24, being treated for COUGH that has progressed an he's getting weaker by the day. He's dying. Thanks doc. I wouldn't take my dog there if I were you.

Our cat, Boo, gets into fights. We have taken him to the Clinic twice in the past two years with head wounds. Dr. Stelbasky and his staff cared for Boo and stitched him up very competently. We hope there isn't a third time but if there is I have complete confidence in the staff at the Clinic.
