There's never an easy way to go about sending your pet off when that times comes but Dr Flinn was such a godsend. This was our first experience with in- home euthanasia and I don't think we will be going back to the vet office if we ever have to do this again. She made an incredibly difficult experience just a little bit easier. My Abbey was comfortable and surrounded by all her family. She got to have her normal day as well with no scary car ride to the vet. Thank you Dr Flinn for everything.

Dr. Flinn is a very professional, kind-hearted and skilled veterinarian. Our little dog was treated with care and love and she felt no pain whatsoever (and didn't even turn her head when Dr. Flinn gave her a shot). It was a very peaceful way to say goodbye and we are very thankful for Dr. Flinn.

For anyone who knows their pet's time has come and can afforda little extra, I really recommend looking into at-home euthanasia services. By being home with Leo he was able to have a normal morning with snuggles in bed, a walk, all his normal surroundings and no distractions. Nothing was rushed. This also made things easier for me. I was really able to soak him in and not have to worry about a car ride, distancing, and being emotional outside of my safe space. In the Sacramento area there are a couple businesses that offer these services. I was really lucky to be able to work with Peaceful Pets: In-home euthanasia service Dr. Flinn was so wonderful and compassionate. She even went the extra mile to fit us in when I didn't think things line up for in-home. Prices are clearly listed on the website abs that was very helpful and made things easier. As someone who works with hospice staff and clinicians, I so appreciate those who sign up to do this work day in and day out. It isn't easy and they show up for all of us when the time comes to say goodbye to a loved one. Feeling really grateful to have been home, Leo's favorite place.

So loving and compassionate! At such a difficult time, to be at home, our Hope on her own bed instead of a dr office, our whole family with a loving hand on her, loving and praising her as she peacefully fell asleep, priceless! Dr Karina is so sweet, tender, patient, full of love and compassion, she is simply an absolute heavenly gift! Dr Karina, thank you with all my heart for being exactly who you are and for being here for our Hope at such a difficult time.

Dr. Sarah was amazing ???? As hard as it is saying goodbye to your little fur baby she makes the experience less hurtful. I wouldn't have wanted to say goodbye to my little girl any other way. Thank you Dr. Sarah ????

Thank you so much for helping with our fur baby, Ayame and making sure that she was comfortable and cared for with love through this process. The fact that another larger company canceled on us via email was horrible enough, but you really stepped in and saved the day to help our family. The care you provide is unprecedented to anyone else. Every step of the way you showed empathy, kindness and you were a great energy for us all to have in that moment. I can't recommend you enough to friends and family that I know have to make the hard decision to say goodbye to the pets that are family, and that they love so much. If it has to be done, you are the best no doubt to call on for that moment.

We could not have asked for a better send off for our Gizmo. Dr. Flinn was timely, kind, professional, understanding and most importantly made the process as peaceful and low key as one could ask. Thank you for making things just a little easier for our family.

We are truly grateful to have found Dr. Flinn. Dr. Flinn is fabulous. She truly understands what families go through during this difficult time. She is very compassionate and her love for pets shows in her work. Dr. Flinn explained the entire process thoroughly and gave plenty of time for family members to say good-bye. It was a wise choice to put our cat down in the comfort of our home and familiar territory. I know you are facing a difficult decision, but Dr. Flinn brings comfort to your family.

If you're reading this review, I'm sorry for your difficult time. Karina came to my home last night, and found my family distraught over our decision to let our 13 year old boxer go. She left us with peace. I had been in contact with Karina for 2 weeks prior, during the roller coaster ride of good days and bad days. She counseled me through that time. When we knew it was time, she came quickly because she knows once you've made the decision the waiting is torture. Karina gracefully honored Lucy and compassionately walked us through it. She respected our personal feelings and gave us choices. So many tears leading up to that moment, and so few after. Peace is what we feel today and what I wish for you and your family.

This has been one of the most difficult days of our lives and yet Dr. Flinn was very comforting..informative and explained each step before and also along the way. Rusty has run across the Rainbow Bridge and is now running with Shea. Thank You Dr. Flinn. FYI- This has been our second At Home Hospice visit and I highly recommend Dr. Flinn above and beyond all others...

It’s taken far too long for me to post this and is long overdue. Karina was awesome and compassionate. She explained everything she was going to do. She even took time to observe my little Cinnamon before moving forward. This was the best way for my little 16 year old babylove to go to her resting place. She literally went to sleep, peacefully. I’ve put other family pets to sleep and it was a very different experience. When I tell you this is how I imagined it would be. It really was. Thank you Karina for your compassionate care❤️

This was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. My Best Friend and Therapy Dog of over 16 years was suffering symptoms of very old age. We had been together throughout 20 of my surgeries and he helped me deal with my ptsd. On Saturday Dec 10th I was able to Return all his love in a most unselfish act to spare him suffering and allow him a dignified death as he had lived his life. It was so hard to make this decision and tears are falling still, but my last memory of him was peaceful. His head on my lap I told him how much I loved him and thanked him for bringing so much friendship and happiness to my life. I kissed him goodbye and held him for a little bit, hugging him close one last time. This was the Right Choice for him not me. It hurts to do what is right but he is in no more pain and I hope to someday be reunited with him on the other side. If you are thinking about this service than you most likely know it is what is right. It was as peaceful as one could ever hope to go. At home animal hospice is the right choice if you love your family member as much as I did. Thank you for helping me through this tough time and may God Bless you, Rob Fretwell Sacramento California 12-12-2016

Best decision I ever made. Karina was so calming and explained everything. She put me at ease. I couldn't have asked for a more loving way for my sweet Lucy to pass.

Simply the fact that I'm writing a review about this is a huge testament to how I feel about Dr. Flinn's work. Just last week, she helped us peacefully say goodbye to my beloved dog of almost 15 years. It could have easily been an experience that left it's mark in a bad way, but her visit to our house to help us put my dog to rest will be something I remember fondly - if with deep sadness for our loss. She was calm and comforting to us - even though I was in tears almost the entire time. This was my first experience doing this with a pet, so it was scary to anticipate, but Dr. Flinn walked us through the whole experience delicately, but with great confidence and purpose. Somehow, she was entirely sympathetic and had a way of validating my feelings at the time. As if to say "I totally get it and I know how you feel." I would highly recommend Dr. Flinn to anyone seeking help at the end of their pet's life. She made me feel like I did right by my doggy Vesper all the way to the end - and that brings me a lot of peace as I grieve.

Choosing a home euthanasia for my dog, Bella, was the best decision. No scary car rides, no cold vet clinic, no hard exam table. Dr. Flinn was available to come to my house the same day that I called her. She came over and was so calm and relaxed that it instantly put Bella and me at ease. After a sedation shot, Bella fell asleep in her favorite purple dog bed while I pet her and told her that I loved her. Dr. Flinn then gave her the euthanasia shot and she just drifted away. I was shocked how peaceful I felt as I let her go. I would recommend At Home Animal Hospice and Dr. Flinn to anyone making the difficult decision of saying goodbye to a pet.
