If I could give this place 0 stars I would! My mom dropped our dog off on 11/1 and told them that she had reservations about leaving him for a week and a half since he's a timid rescue who often refuses to eat when we are gone. They assured her that everything would be fine and offered to send updates every other day. She received pics and an update on 11/2 and not another word until 11/12. This would have been fine if they would have answered their phones or texts at ANY other time throughout his stay. On 11/12, they finally sent another text saying that he was doing great and was given wet food. This morning, when she went to pick him up, he was soaked. She asked why he was wet and was told that it could be anything, maybe other dogs pee? ????♀️ Absolutely unacceptable! Awful customer service and an unsafe environment.We will definitely not be bringing him back.

Walked in and lobby area was littered with trash all over the floor and tables. First impressions of the facilities and staff were horrible. It's not that difficult to keep a lobby area clean or at least make an effort to put trash in the trash can.. and if the lobby looks that bad I don't have high expectations of the rest of the place that you are forbidden to see because of "covid". If the concerns for covid were that great they would have been wearing masks and had sanitizer around so this is just a week excuse that you don't want owners actually seeing where you keep the dogs. I expected to leave the dogs for a week and after seeing what I could of the facilities reconsidered do to an obvious disregard for cleanliness. Ower and her unprofessional kids could care less about a clients concerns or the dogs and obviously care only about the money that you must prepay with no refunds if they leave early. The owner threatened to call the police if I did not leave the premises because I needed a moment to figure out how many days I needed to leave them.. I wouldn't leave my dog here even if my life depended on it because I actually love them and I care about their well being.

This place is the best! My dog loves it and goes all the time. It's great to board where he already goes to daycare and likes a lot

This place is a joke! First time I ever wanted to use this place, the owner had me fill out all of the papers upfront and stated to come back the next day. I called back the next day while arriving to the location with my dogs, to verify the drop off time, and she or her daughter never answered any of the calls. This was extremely frustrating, especially when it came to bringing my dogs as we had discussed and signed up. They were at the location and placed a block on our calls. You don't take information on forms and then shut the person applying for their dogs stay, to never here back and be locked outside. It was a complete joke. If you read everyone's post with a negative response, you can see that this owner is truly a rude and unprofessional person. They block your calls immediately as if their number is out of service, so that they don't have to talk to you for any reason. I would never recommend this place to anyone and you should stay clear from this boarding location. You will regret it!

A friend of mine was in a situation where she needed to be hospitalized. She had no idea where to board her dog, so I recommended Bentley's. The ladies there were so accommodating and took her pup in straight away so he would be cared for. We received regular updates and they worked with us assuring that the pup would have a place to call home for as long as he needed. Thanks for helping us make a stressful situation a lot less stressful!

We just had a pretty awful experience at Bentley's Ruff House. Our dog stayed there twice, but I can no longer recommend this place. The second day into our trip I received an upsetting phone call from the owner and video clip that was sent showing our dog in a corner with an employee and our dog acting aggressive toward her which we have never witnessed from him since he was a puppy until now 5 1/2 years later. I was pretty upset the rest of our short trip and wanted to pick up my dog a day early once we arrived back in town, but because it was outside of their pickup window of 7-9 am that day she absolutely refused. I asked her to reconsider and let her know I was willing to come at any convenient time for her that afternoon or evening, but she made me wait until the next day which was extremely difficult and emotional for me. The owner repeated to me several times over the phone during our two conversations that "this is not a home environment this is a boarding facility and is very stressful for dogs". The owner showed zero sympathy on our phone call and continued to use my first name while talking over me, and even had her employee listening in on the other line. I know this because she also started speaking over me during the conversation. I received the worst customer service ever from Bentley's. Thankfully, we were allowed to pick up our dog the next day first thing in the morning and he seems to be back to his old, sweet self. I am not one to write negative reviews, but I think others need to be aware of our experience.

They may seem nice at first, and they're cheap-- But the owner is extremely rude. I went to pickup a dog for a friend whom the owner had already been rude to, and she scowled at me, offering no greeting other than "I'll take payment from you.". The location sucks, so I would rather pay a little more for a nicer place like wag hotel.

Bentley's staff are wonderful. I would highly recommend Bentley's they will care for your dog like it's their own.

First time using this facility. Good quality and so far our dogs love it. We booked our pups for a week boarding. Registering and check-in/out process is smooth and simple. It’s a family ran business in a decent location. Plus they support first responders and military members. We will definitely use them again.

Set up an appointment for my dog to stay overnight, maybe two. A week before i was to drop her off i had some questions. So I called. Well the phone number was no longer in service. Don't know what happened. They never contacted me and I'm glad I called so I made new arrangements. Very strange, very rude. Glad I didn't give them money or credit info. Always check.

Our dogs LOVE it here. We recently moved here and travel regularly so it has been a relief to find a great place to board our pups when we're gone. It is a family-run business and we know and genuinely like them all! They have also gotten us on schedule at a moment's notice not once but a few times. Highly recommend.

This place is much cheaper than its competitor on the other side of town. They are further from our house but it's worth it. They are a great family and take care of our dogs when we are gone for a few days. They always cater to their usual customers and let them know when they are getting really busy so that they can set dates. Their facility is very clean and they will even give the dogs a bath if they are there for longer than 2 days. Highly recommend.

They love our dogs and treat them like their own. Great for a one day or week long drop off with reasonable prices and fun accommodations. Great staff and owners who really care about all of the dogs.

It is very difficult for me to trust anyone with my pets. I was so happy when I found Bentley’s!!! Bentley's Ruff House is amazing and always takes the best care of our Penny girl. Beth and Victoria are so sweet and caring for our pup. We ALWAYS know Penny is in good hands with them. They are so flexible with our schedules and are super accommodating. I also LOVE their social media updates of my pup. It is so nice being able to see updates while I am gone. And if they don't post photos of Penny specifically, they will text me with updates. Plus, the dogs are out all day with nonstop play and you cannot beat the price. Thank you so much Beth and Victoria!!! We really appreciate all that you do for our family.

Dropped by and talked to a younger lady at the desk. Asked about boarding my dogs over night. I got the paper work and everything. I asked if we needed to make an appointment to drop them off. She said no just bring them by. On our way out of town we dropped by. Paperwork and vaccination paperwork in hand. Only to find it locked up. Called and rang the door bell. Someone did call us right back only to inform us that we needed to make an appointment. Seriously!?! Why would you give me the paperwork and not tell me to make an appointment right then? Thank you for delaying our vacation. We will be finding new place to go.

I am disappointed that I have to write this review, especially after I saw all of the other rave reviews. I left my mini schnauzer there for 4 nights during Thanksgiving week. I did call to check up on him after the first night and they said he was fine. My husband picked him up after his stay and said he smelled overwhelming of urine. My little guy hates the smell of his own waste so it saddens me that he must have been left unable to relieve himself. He has stayed at many boarding places and for longer periods of time and has never come back smelling of urine. In fact, we had just bathed him the day before we dropped him off. When I got back and saw him for myself, his hair was matted on his legs and belly. The only way he gets matted after 4 days like this is if he somehow gets wet. The bedding we left for him included a pillow and small blanket; the pillow smelled of urine, and the blanket had clearly not been put in his bed at all since it was still folded in the bag as we’d left it and did not smell used (while the pillow definitely did). Also, when picking him up, my husband noticed that there was one dog being kept that was barking and crying non-stop. He was informed while paying that that dog had been barking and crying like this “the whole time”, and that they were planning to move it toward the back (so as to not be as noticeable to staff/customers). This is very concerning on many levels. I’m glad that he did eat, and that he was not physically injured. However, he was behaving much more traumatized when returned to us than he ever has after boarding before. I’m sad that the care the other pets received seems to have been much better than my little guy received. One of the employees mentioned to my husband that they were going to bath him before we picked him up, but didn’t get a chance to. Unfortunately we would rather have had better care over a bath. With good conscience would could not bring our furbaby back to Bentley’s Ruff House.
