Exceptional team of doctors and support staff! My dog had cataracts eye surgery several years ago with great outcomes. The team has always been super consistent, attentive, and responsive. My dog also happens to love going there.

My dog is a patient of Dr. Edward's at this office. The office staff are so accommodating and rushed to get my dog in for an urgent appointment. They have remained so professional and friendly each time she is seen since we started with them in July. Dr. Edward's is absolutely amazing, she treated my dog's eye that was barely able to saved very quickly because she does very thorough exams and testing. She takes her time with us at appointments and is very responsive when I had to call before to ask a question. There is a longer wait to get established but I can see why! I will never go anywhere else for an eye specialist. I am so thankful for the time and care they have given my dog. Thank you!

My husband's dog had an eye abnormality found on a recent vet visit and we were referred to Animal Eye Center. Lana Linton, DVM, DACVO, and staff, were amazing! Being essential for her function yet with social distancing precautions in place, we made the appointment and they told us when we arrived to stay in our car that they would come to us. All the information was gathered, the dog was taken to be examined ; everyone was so friendly and professional. Dr. Linton came out to tell us that the exam went well and ruled out any big issues. We can't give them more than 5 stars!

We have a fairly timid herding breed who had developed a persistent eye ulcer. Animal eye center was recommended to us and we have not been disappointed. Dr. Gronkiewicz and Jenny were friendly, sweet and very compassionate. They took great care to provide for our pup’s comfort during examination and treatment and explained everything concisely. Yes, ophthalmology can be pricy but Animal Eye Center had the best rates in the region along with excellent care. Thank you so much for helping our fur baby feel better!

Dog had an infected/scratched eye that was caused by trauma. The receptionist said appointments are 2 months out. I stressed it was an emergency, and was told to go to Davis. I think they should make time for emergency situations.

Dr. Linton and the staff at Animal Eye Center are amazing and compassionate providers for any eye condition your pet may be suffering from. For my dog, George, Dr. Linton and Animal Eye Center has been a godsend. Dr. Linton is a brilliant veterinarian ophthalmologist and she saved George’s eyesight with her incredible skill and dedication. George loves Dr. Linton and so does our family - her optimistic spirit and kindness helped us get through tough times with our furry best friend.

We wanted to reach out and thank you all for your care and concern related to the recent addition to our feline family, Thomas. After rescuing Thomas five months ago, we quickly learned of his eye disease during his initial checkup with Dr. Angela Priest at Cats Only Veterinary Hospital. She saw the severity of his problem and quickly called to get us an appointment with the Center. During those months, we experienced all the people that made a difference as we went through this journey. From the pleasant, positive ladies in the front office, to the caring and compassionate vet techs, we always had a great experience. Ultimately, however, we owe Dr. Gronkiewicz the most gratitude and cannot say enough about her! She is compassionate, kind, patient and a highly skilled doctor who saved Thomas’ eyesight. Just OUTSTANDING ! Throughout the five months that she worked with Thomas (and us!), we had many occasions to interact with her. She always took the time to answer all our questions completely, provide options, return phone calls and generally just make us feel that Thomas was in the best possible care. It was a long ordeal, but we are truly grateful that Dr. Gronkiewicz saved Thomas’ eyesight! Again, thanks to you and all your staff who made this experience with Thomas a successful one with a happy ending!

Our pit Hogan had an eye procedure done yesterday that went so well. A big Thank You to all of you there at Animal Eye Center. Our Hogan is a 60lb muscel of fear when it comes to people touching his face. The calm environment there at the office helped, but Dr. and vet tech were amazing. Thank you All so much for helping us help Hogan ????????

Our experience at Animal Eye Center in Rocklin has been wonderful. Dr. Horikawa saved my Himalayan cat’s sight in both eyes. The treatment involved using eye drops, oral medication, and surgery to remove growths on both eyes. Everyone at Animal Eye Center is so helpful and supportive. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Overall, this is a great practice. But I feel the need to let others know about some of the negative things I experienced. First, the positive: The place is clean, modern, friendly. The front desk staff were friendly, competent, organized (very important to me) and compassionate. The techs were also very knowledgeable, the best I've ever had. I saw Dr. Linton. The positive is that she was thorough, compassionate, took her time, didn't rush. She really seemed to have genuine sympathy for my pet and did many tests, put a lot of effort into diagnosing my pet. The negative was that she was not the best listener. She asked me over and over again if my pet was eating, each time I answered, "No," and then she'd say something like, "Well, as long as she's eating, she's doing alright." She's NOT eating! Then, she said we'd do some blood work, with the panel costing $75. She went on about what we're testing for and did do a good job explaining the eye to me. But when I went to pay, the bill was $813!! What she failed to explain was that not only was she ordering the $75 blood panel, but she was doing several OTHER blood tests not included in it. The bill included a few meds and the cost of the exam, which I was fine paying for, but all the tests were at least $550 when I was expecting $75. She came out and was kind enough to help me get the cost cut down a little, but I was in the middle of asking her something and she just kind of fluttered off. BUT, the tech came out and she helped me more, by helping me select which tests were really the most important. She and the front desk staff were great and understanding at helping me get the cost down. Aside from her poor communication, the other thing that bothered me about Dr. Linton was that she was not wearing gloves when she felt my pet's anal glands and then she went right back to typing on the computer without washing them. That concerns me in a medical establishment where there can be communicable diseases. Despite all that, I would still recommend this place if your pet is having an eye issue. They are experts and will help your pet. I would just recommend being prepared to advocate for your bank account and to demand clarification if you get Dr. Linton, but I do think she is a knowledgeable and compassionate vet.

Sometimes we would drive our dog 100 miles in a day just to visit Animal Eye Center Inc. to keep her eyes going. They're the best at what they do and are all phenomenal people.

Dr. Linton has been nothing short of amazing for my Bichon Frise, Lexi. At nine years old, Lexi suddenly developed cataracts and went blind within a couple of months. She was lethargic, depressed, and confused about her sudden inability to see. After Dr. Linton performed cataract removal and restored Lexi's vision, she was like a puppy again. Lexi now loves to go to her check ups at the Animal Eye Center and adores Dr. Linton. On some level, I think she knows Dr. Linton gave her back her vision.

Our experience with Rocklin Eye Center was amazing. We were so worried before our appointment that our Cocker Spaniel would have to have her eye removed. Dr. Linton took such gentle care of our baby. We left knowing everything was going to be okay and that she didn't need surgery. Our cocker was prescribed the proper eye drops, and we were given simple instructions to take care of her. We returned to have her checked occasionally with all being okay. Our Chloe girl recently passed away from cancer, and we had received the most heartfelt, loving, sincere card expressing their condolences. That meant so much to our family. I will never forget that. I would absolutely recommend The Rocklin Eye Center to anyone that needs their services.
