Upon calling the staff seemed very welcoming and nice , even when the vet technician came to the car to have a look it seemed very assuring. When entering the first priority is the fee for consultation. As for the consultation itself it seemed very quick and rushed , as they lightly checked my dog. The male vet with glasses speaks very quickly with a mumble so you just get it over with and agree with what is said. Once questioning the prices , extra costs, and treatments they are very very quick to catch an attitude with you. As I stumbled to find my options , they assured me the dog would die if I had went home , catching even more of a attitude with MY decision. Leaving me feeling truly hopeless. For the cost I’d say although these are regular prices you are way better off going to a new vet. The lab test , X-rays , and consultation was around 758 excluding the aftercare , medicine , and hospitalization. Looking at another vet , I called and was welcomed with the same kind voiced staff and got so in person. I wasn’t rushed to pay upfront , gave me possibilities of what it could be, and as for the consultation the vet tech was taking their time and Thoroughly looking at my dog . The consultation fee, the multiple lab test , medicine , and hospitalization came out to be around the same price as it would here . I should’ve known better than coming here after hearing similar TERRIBLE Experiences from friends and family . I’d only use this vet in times of desperation , Would give 0 stars if possible .

We had a TERRIBLE experience with this vet hospital. The vet (I believe dr Stevenson) insisted our French Bulldog had an abdominal foreign body. We brought here there for obvious difficulty breathing. I told them she was having an allergic reaction or esophageal foreign body. The vet told us that frenchies just breathe weird (I know how my Frenchie normally breathes). I said that doesn’t make sense. They told us $7k to remove the said foreign body. Thankfully we know enough that we knew that didn’t make sense. Fast forward two more vets she went home with steroids and Benadryl for the allergic reaction I diagnosed and she was perfectly fine the next day. We will NEVER use this place again. Their practitioners are terrible.

Customer service is non existent here. I was pressured into signing an incorrect invoice/estimate (and ultimately signed it after going back and forth just to get the heck out of there) and will be following up on the charges. Check your bank statements people! Also, while I was waiting for my dog to be released, I saw a woman run outside to grab something from her car then return to the door. I tried to be courteous and re-open the door for her and the desk attendant yelled at me for doing so. Then, before taking my dog outside the attendant said "be careful there are other animals out there" ever so condescending. Smug is the word I would use. Unfortunately we have to return to get staples out, otherwise I wouldn't return to this place. The Veterinary services were good.

If you care about your pet. Don’t bring them here. Terrible service Employees are rude & they apply charges to your bill without being notified

Nothing they could care less about your pet. They don't know what they are doing I don't know how they can stay in business. They pay their bills by making people pay costly medical treatments for their pets. They will not let you stay with your pets while they treat them so how do you know if they really do the treatment that they are charging you for. Your pets are your family and they use that against you knowing you will pay anyway you can to make them better. Brought my dog in with a open wound and all they did was wrap it up and gave me some pills and charged me almost $900.00 said to bring back in 2 days to have it changed. Then charged me another $80.00 for a bandage. The discharge papers had zero amount due for that visit. I will never never go back to this awful so call hospital again. If you love your pet you wont go there.

Really appreciate all staff who helped my baby Mia on her last visit! It was a fast check in and fast paced staff members. She is doing a lot better now. Thank you Arlington Animal Hospital!

This is by far the worst animal hospital I’ve ever been to. I took my dog here after he suffered a stroke. First of all when I got there the nurse in the front saw that my son was crying holding our barely breathing dog and she asked with the worst attitude for 1,200 just so they can take him back. She did not have any sympathy for our pain whatsoever almost as if she hated her job. They told us to wait outside for a few hours when I finally got called back the Dr informed me that he was responding to the medicine but still not out of the woods so recommended for us to leave him for a few days. I told him I would only leave him for one night and we will go from there but before I leave we wanted to see him. He told me to wait in the room and a nurse will get us. We waited for over an hour and then the nurse came in saying sorry but we have an emergency back there so you can’t see your dog. I asked if they can please bring him out so my kids can see him in case he does not make it through the night. She refused and so we went home and got a call later that night that he passed. We were devastated that we didn’t get to see him. So 2 day ago which is about a month later I go to ask for his ashes which I payed for a private cremation and they said they could not find them. Yesterday I got a call and they said they put him on public cremation because they forgot to call the place to tell them he was private cremation so now we don’t even get his ashes. This was a horrible experience for the family.

I can’t begin to show the gratitude for the Technicians who helped to keep my baby Xena alive. Our puppy was not responsive late Saturday night (8/28/21) and we were told she was positive for Parvo. We have had multiple pets including two adult dogs at home so we were shocked and in disbelief on how this could have occurred. This was our first experience with dealing with this diagnosis and the odds were standing against us. The first technician Meaghanne P. Was so helpful and explained further what we needed to expect. She guided us through financial options and treatments. Her calmness and professionalism was just what we needed during this heartbreak. After a long pros and cons list, we were released at 2am with an at home treatment option but we prepared ourselves for the worse. The following morning we took Xena back to get the remaining IVs and booster shot treatments she needed. That’s when we met Technician Andy G. He was amazing! He further explained what the next couple of days would look like. His positive energy and optimistic approach was exactly what we needed for the following day. He encouraged us to stay positive but still setting realistic expectations. His transparency but yet empathetic approach surpassed our expectations. We can’t thank the staff ENOUGH!!!! We just bought our home in Riverside and had yet to select a Vet but we will look no further! We found it!!!! If I can give 10 STARS, I would!!!!

Another update. I went to AAE in 2019 simply to buy some kitten milk explaining to the front desk person that I had 2 newborns that hadn't eaten in almost 24 hrs. She rudely forced me to provide all of my information, refused to sell me a syringe to feed them with, and made me spend over 10 minutes buying a can of milk. I pray I NEVER have to go in there again. Update. Not to long after I posted this we brought our dog in and a cat several times and were treated horribly on each occasion, even going so far as taking our credit card before treatment even though we've never had a money issue. The entire front office staff and assistants were rud on more than one occasion to both me and my husband. They also stressed our dog would be crippled within a few months without surgery but she was fine with alternative treatment for 3 years when she died of something unrelated. Above all I felt they were rude and unkind as well as too obviously looking for the money. Initial post: I was able to get an appointment quickly and they were very thorough. I think they're a bit pricier than the other emergency vet and it seems the price should be less if it's during normal business hours but it doesn't appear that way. Regardless, I felt my dog was in capable hands and that they were honest about treatment options. I'm also thrilled our town finally has a 24 hr emergency vet as the other one is quite a distance. With the office visit, 4 X-rays, blood work, sedation for the X-rays, and two prescriptions filled it was just under $600.00.

Dog puked worms on a Sunday morning , called around and was directed to this place. They took her in and gave us dewormer and some other meds. Took a little while but worth it. Followed up with my regular vet later .all good

Front office staff the worst! Don’t bother calling or giving them common courtesy because they won’t give it back. I absolutely will not go back. They only get busy being an emergency clinic. Do yourself a favor and please go somewhere else

Learned my lesson- Go to Arlington if you want folks who care. So...I guess my animal children have been lucky and we did not realize that when our "usual" vet told us that we would be picking our kitty up on Saturday after surgery on Saturday, with a catheter and IV connection that someone might actually would care what happened next. I had never heard of Arlington. I was told: Grand Terrace (past bad experience), Ontario (good experience in the past, but completely full) or Corona (new). So, I thought that when I rolled up to Corona, and thought I would just be "transferring" my kitty to stay until Monday, that they would have SOMETHING from my previous vet. WRONG. Not only was there nothing but a set of ridiculous new orders we did not need. I left. I called Ontario again and they suggested Arlington. All I can say is THANK YOU! I did have to wait. Dr. Saldana was amazing. My kitty was well-cared for. I was texted with pictures and updates from his staff. I was kept aware. I was asked if I could pick him up early as all was doing well. What can I say? Don't accept NO SERVICE- with no consideration for the pet or humans-- GO TO ARLINGTON! Yes, it was not inexpensive, but it was less than the 36 hours that CORONA was going to "take" to dump him again on Monday morning. No more will I go to a vet that is not a HOSPITAL. Pets do not have a plan for when they need help and having me drive my kitty all over "hell and back" was just unconscionable. Thank you, Dr. Saldana and Sima and Kayla and everyone. Example: Hi its Sima again from Arlington Animal Hospital, just letting you know Toby is still doing great, he's enjoying all of the cuddles, he's such an easygoing cat! He's gotten all of his medications and his bladder flushed, his urine is still looking nice and clear. The night doctor will be here in a couple of hours and he will determine whether or not he wants his urinary catheter pulled, and from there they will be able to let you know how they are going to proceed with his treatments. He still has not wanted to eat, but he seems very Arlington Animal Hospital, Inc. & 24 Hour Emergency Center

Dr. Saldanha and staff were amazing! My dog Lucie was diagnosed with cancer and needed her leg amputated. This Vet performed this procedure 1/2 the cost of any vet near me! Lucie had the best care and I was informed by text and phone calls. I live in Orange County and was so impressed with this place, I will be a returning client for all of our pets! Thank you so much!!

Very costly for services including surgery. Dog died less than a week after. Long wait times, bad communication, and service. Do not take your pet here. For them it's all about the money. I would give them zero stars if I could.

We experienced an unplanned emergency with our 6 month Old English bulldog. Later Saturday evening and he needed to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. All emergency vets in our local cities would not see our pup. I got refused service due to low staff and full capacity. We were running out of time. Our bulldogs gums started changing to a pale color and we started to panic. Calling location after location and being denied service. Watching our puppy suffering and you knowing he was going to die was so scary. I found Arlington Animal Hospital and I called them with minutes to spare. Arlington animal hospital was the only hospital that was willing to see my puppy now. No denying service for a pet in need. After traveling 34 miles with our puppy in critical condition we made it just in time. We rushed in and they serviced our puppy right away. We were took into a room and awaited until doctor came in to speak with us. We were in shock when the doctor stated to us that our puppy has experienced bloat. Which is a life threatening situation and needs to be treated right away. After carefully speaking with the doctor he informed us about all the negatives that associates with this situation. There were only 2 options, Surgery or euthanasian. The doctor gave him a 40% chance of living during surgery due to the fact we had already waited prior to bringing him in and the condition he was in by the time we got there. We made the best decision we could have made for our English bulldog Kronos. We gave him his 40% chance and he survived surgery and is making a great recovery. If it wasn't for the quick response From the staff with stabilizing him and getting him ready for surgery he would not be here today. Thanks to doctor David Burgermeister, DMV Forgiving all you can for saving our little guy. Thank you for informing us about everything. Thank you for your knowledge and your skills. Thank you for knowing what to do in an emergency like this. Thank you for having a great team and a team that knows what to do. After we met with the doctor and we decided to continue a surgery we left our little guy in their hands. This is always a scary situation. Not only did we think our guy wasn't going to make it we also thought about if he does make it will he be taking care of in the right way. After surgery I got the call…. Our little guy made it through surgery!! He was doing really well. Nurse Amie went over everything with me from what they had to do to stabilize and everything during surgery along with words the Dr. Had about what he found. After surgery I was greeted with a text message introducing his nurse Amie who was going to be taking care of him while he stayed there with a picture of him. The picture alone was so heart warming because the last time we saw him he was in critical condition. To see the picture I can't explain the feelings of happiness we felt. I got continuous text message of his updates after this from his continued nurses Nykole, Ashley, Teresa with all updates and anything that was going on with him. I also got more pictures sent to me as he was getting stronger and stronger. Honestly this here was something they didn't have to provide to me regarding my animal, But appreciated every moment and thank the full staff that took care of our little guy Kronos. He was making a great turnaround and we were able to pick him up ahead of time. Due to their quick reactions and the love and how serious they took this situation our little guy Was making positive improvements Very quick. After 3 nights and 2 days our little guy was able to come home. Going to pick him up was so exciting! When arrival once again we were greeted and dealt with professionally and kindness. Front office staff went over all medications and everything we will need for his recovery. Ask us if we had any questions or concerns. Thank you!! We even liked that the doctor wanted to speak to us directly before taking our little guy home. This will continue to another post. It's to long for one post.

Pay for x-rays and they said they will email us but never did. Then they claim they did so we ask them to resend them and they refuse. They will over charge you for everything, knowing you will pay or they use your pet against you.

Horrible customer service they told me I was second in line I came at nine. They didn’t start calling until 11 when they said they were start calling at 9:30. I wasn’t the only one they told that too. They had told that to a few other people. I asked the lady in the front after a few hours when will I be seen she told me it’s going to be a few hours I asked them why didn’t they tell me that from the beginning and I would’ve been OK she argued some more tell me to go outside and with the worst attitude do you want to be seen or not she said!! I had a kitten that was two weeks old. The baby needed to be with its mother to be feed the eat everything 2 hrs. They had me waiting five hours. They were so rude I will never ever go to this place they charge me $111 just to see my kitten and give me Eye ointment. 54$ for a small little tube. When I found it online for $17. The worst place ever never go here ever !!!

THEY CUT MY CAT’S PAW PAD ON THE X-RAY MACHINE AND WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION Our cat Sunny recently had vomiting, constipation and a hard-stool problem. We visited Arlington Animal Hospital Inc. and 24 Hour Emergency Center on Aug 31, 2021. While the consultation, the doctor suggested an x-ray examination. With my permission, he took my cat to have an X-Ray examination. I’ve been waiting for about half an hour and the doctor texted me back to the clinic to review X-films and explain my cat's condition. However I did not see my cat being carried back to the consultation room. The doctor walked me through the X-films. The nurse took the medicine to the consulting room and gave me the medication instructions. At the time I still hadn't seen my cat. After waiting for another three to five minutes in the consulting room, the nurse came in again. She asked me to wait outside and I need to pay the bill then they will bring my cat out to the lobby. I paid money and waited for a pretty long time to see Sunny. We were so worried and asked the front desk. Finally, the front desk nurse came out and said that they were trying to get my cat out of the X machine. Then another 20 minutes, THEY TOLD ME THAT SUNNY’S FOOT PAD GOT CUT WHILE THE VET TOOK HIM OUT OF THE X-RAY MACHINE. THEY STITCH HIM WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW FIRST. Sunny was so scared and PEED AND POOPED ON HIMSELF. He has never done that before. I didn’t even know if the vet gave my cat anesthetic or not. I can’t even imagine how scared my cat was. I came to this vet to check Sunny’s constipation problem. They haven't even cured Sunny’s symptom but added another wound??????? I’m really concerned about the vet and how unprofessional they are. They didn’t even feel sorry or any compensation. They are still charging me for the X-ray even though all these happened to my cat. THEIR ATTITUDE WAS SO BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS PLACE!!

I would NEVER come here again. This past week my 9 yr old bully got abruptly sick in the evening she had thrown up and dedicate at the same time then laid down and didnt want to get up.. I let her rest thinking a stomach bug and she would be ok. At 1:30 am I woke up to find her in the same spot but now the inside of her mouth was very pale and she would open her mouth. I just moved here with my dogs a month ago so I looked up the closets 24hr animal hospital ... Arligton. My bully Vienna was able to get in my car but by the time I got to the vet she couldn't move. I asked the girl who was at the desk to help me with her and she said she couldn't. I thought that was weird and rude. By then Vienna couldn't walk and it was very hard for me to carry or lift her. Then Vienna collapsed at the door way on her belly legs and arms out she couldn't move. I asked the girl at the front AGAIN to help me and she said " you didn't tell me she couldn't walk". I COULDN'T BELIEVE she said that too me. She and I feel that entire Arlington Hospital was EXTREMELY RUDE, AND LACKED EMPATHY especially for the business they are in. The doctor who saw her had a very cut and dru attitude as he told me that my baby girl had a tumor on her intestines that had burst ..the reason she couldn't stand up was her belly was full of blood..she was lacking oxygen and her body had gone into shock from everything and she was in critical care in an incubator and that they were not sure she would make it through surgery and that even if the cancer probably spread... I had to put my baby girl down that night. DEVASTATING to say the least. After talking to my vet in Hawaii * where we are from) I understand there was nothing I could've done and these things can happen and happen often in older dogs. HOWEVER the horrible treatment I an my baby received at Arlington was RIDICULOUS. THEY SHOULD CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN THEY ARE HEARTLESS!!!

Tried blackmailing me for better meds for my kitty if I spent more on tests, when the first test was negative, leaving it being only one other thing it could be, but wouldn't give proper meds unless I paid for that test. Meanwhile, wouldn't start with proper test in the first place. They have a no cussing or violence sign on their door. I now understand why. We ended up going to another vet, and yes, got proper care

Very friendly place. Animal lovers so you know is not just about the money. They have special prices on Saturday mornings. Got the 3 year rabbies shot for the dog for only $15 bucks, I was so happy I got one for myself too. They are open 24/7 so if your babies have any problems, come on down!

THROUGHLY DISGSTED WITH REALIZING THIS VET HUSTLED US!! I came in on a Sunday realizing there would be a wait and I would pay more since it was a Sunday! I came in at 900 am... I didn't get to see a Dr till 315 pm! The girls in the back were very rude, I felt nickel and dimed! Since the expense was sudden I was having help with paying from my family on their credit card. I was told they wouldn't use it or run it till my family got there...then they had the audacity to tell my child when my.family member got there they couldn't leave because if I needed to use their card again he would have to stay. I had the card for payment I had shown multiple ways to identify the card was ok to use but my.fanily member would be here soon to authorize it, if tbey could.just at least start xrays and blood work since I had been here for so long. They refused and got snippy and asked how much longer till they got there. Fine ok whatever. Over all I absolutely loved the Dr who came.in and examined my dog. She was kind and thorough. With that being said they came in told me treatment and I didn't even think.to ask was it all medically necessary. I didn't think a vet would hustle you with things you do not need. I was ok at spending 9 hours there waiting. I was ok with spending 700 bucks on blood work an xray, I was some what tolerable of the girls in the back attitude, where you lose me is when you hustle medications and price gouge! $46.50 for.20 pills that I could have bought pepcid over the counter for $5.00. There was 2 boxes of nausea medicine to keep my.puppy from throwing up...2 boxes $152. I found on Pet Meds for 17 bucks each! Since when is this ok? I came in thinking my pet was dying and they fully took advantage of the situation and price gouged me! I find that to be atrocious! I come to you because I love my animal, I am vulnerable and need help, and you hustle me and price gouge me from what I see so far between $400 and $500 when I am vulnerable. Who does that?!?! Your vet should be someone you trust, after all our animals are our family too!NEVER AGAIN! BUYER BE WARE COMiNG HERE

If I could give this place a zero I would!!!! If you want your pet to die bring them here. I'm not one to Ever write a review but man o man does this place needs to shut down ASAP!!!! Ill keep it simple, I called they said they were at a max capacity, showed up parking lot EMPTY, took my dog in (SAD Emergency) was charged $900 just for basic blood and x-rays NOT include initial visit ($65) ok. Waited for 7 hours, got there at 5pm left until midnight even though there was no one there. Doctor was heartless and is money hungry!!!. Did NOT cure my dog and stated everything was fine go home. Took him to another animal hospital because he was basically dying and they took good care of him. He was dehydrated, and poisoned!!! Yet this doctor said he's was fine go home. The whole staff is heartless and unmotivated to save life's. This place should be shut down!!! There's more to tell from this place but I'll let you find out for yourself. Rating a big fat 0.

Arrived at 330 pm. I checked in their sign in sheet and filled out the questionnaire. I did anticipate a long wait. HOWEVER, when I checked inside after two hours, I was told that they stopped taking patients and that we had to WAIT an additional two hours for the night doctor. I asked why wasn't I told? And the receptionist told me "I tried calling you." I told her that I received no call whatsoever and she tried to argue that she did. Really? I have my cell in my hand. I get that things were busy, but I don't know what would have happened if I didn't check back. The point is, there was no communication, no regard to worried pet parents, and the audacity of saying that I received a phone call when I didn't. What is the point of the sign in sheet anyway if they're not going to check??????
