Excellent Courteous Professional Customer Service. Performed a Full Check Up and Updated All Necessary Shots on My Alaskan Malamute, All Covered under His Adult Wellness Plan. Puppy and Adult Wellness Plans are Very Comprehensive and Reasonably Priced.

I made an appointment for my 10 year old dog to get the free exam they had a coupon for online back in October, they were booked till December 11, which was when I made the appointment for, when I called to confirm my appointment the day of, (because I got no messages, texts, or emails from them) I couldn't remember if it was for 5 or 530, they told me there was no record of my appointment, they searched my name, phone number and my dogs name and no appointment!! I waited months to get my dog in, to find out they didn't even record the appointment!!

bad experience. dropped my cat off for an appointment this afternoon, get a call 3 hours later and they say that she was acting feisty and couldn't complete the check up, and wanted me to purchase a sedative for future vet appointments. my cat has NEVER had any issues at the vet before. always hear how sweet and gentle and friendly she is. she loves new people. so this is very concerning. will definitely not be returning to this banfield. they did not make her feel safe or comfortable. not professional and a terrible experience, I can only just hope this experience here didnt traumatize her with going to the vet

I took my dog in to get a flu shot. My appointment was at 2:45. The road next to my house was closed so I had to take a longer way and I walked up to the counter at 2:47. I then stood in line for over 10 minutes. Then they took several minutes to start checking me in at which point I explained the road closure. The tech refused to have my dog seen because I was "15 min late." Even though she saw me come in and watched me stand in line that whole time. Curtis was very sweet though. The tech was not. I did not get her name, but she was brunette, young, and probably about 5'7"or 8". Dark blue scrubs. I'm only describing her in case management reads this and wants to know which of their employees was rude. And she wasn't overtly rude, but she had that sweet condescending voice that is using nice words, but is actually telling you to go eff yourself, which is honestly worse. I understand being on a time schedule, but not when I was only 2 min late (they have a 10 minute grace period btw) and then she stood around while one guy dealt with everyone in line.

Reno location is very poorly run by rude and inept people. Sparks location is only Banfield I'll even consider. Doctors Morford and Spurling are wonderful and most of the staff is pleasant on the ball! Update: I get the standard response... not replying. Have already been waiting weeks for the practice manager to get back to me.

All they want to do is sign people up for a subscription based pet care plan which costs way more than a yearly checkup. I felt like I was on a used car lot with high pressure salespeople when they were trying to get me on a monthly plan for my perfectly healthy three year old chocolate lab. It felt super sleezy the way they tried exploiting my pet for money.

The Doctors are great , but the front end is a Mess , They are often rude and seem to be in a hurry, Un informed about basic things , they screw up appointments regularly, this is very frustrating and always have a excuse ,,, we have a glitch is a favorite. I have been with them for years . I have a very old dog and when she has passed , I will be looking for a New place. They also are very far away , they need another location in South Reno.

Couldnt get any appointments for 2 months for an emergency. I called askimg if they can help my cat because she has long hair and she got sick and got poo all matted in her hair to the point she couldnt use the restroom. They told me to call their groomers and they just told me she needs to see a vet. Then i called them back and told them the situation and the person hung up on me. It would be nice to know that someone there actually cares about animals.

Positives: Pleasant staff and doctors, Wellness plan is worth it Negatives: The last two times my dog was sick enough to need a vet but not sick enough for the emergency vet, and I really felt like she needed to be seen soon, it was at least a week out to get an appointment. So even though I have the plan, I still had to go to a different vet to have her seen and make sure she was OK. They may be overselling, their plan so they have too many clients but regular clients should be able to get in with a sick dog earlier than a week.

I went to Banfield on Mae Anne Ave and it has been the worst decision ive made in life. I lost my fur baby because of it because of Dr. Reitingers negligence and incompetence which killed her. She died 2 days after the spay surgery because she was bleeding internally and even though i took her there that day and told them what i think, they did nothing and discharged her after 12 hours and charging me $500. She died that night and i took her to sierra vet and they said had she been checked out more thoroughly she would have lived. She shouldn't have been discharged and they needed to do imaging studies on her. Im heart broken and so alone without my baby and i dont want anyone else to experience this so please do yourself a favor and save yourself this pain and go somewhere else.

Staff is always sweet to my fur babies. ❤ makes my baby boy feel at ease when he has his visit. They treat my babies like families. Ask about their pet care plans. Saved me hundreds of dollars on vet visits.

The only reason I can't give this hospital a five-star review is because they are pretty expensive and they sometimes dont return your calls. Aside from that they took very good care of my pets and went above and beyond the call of duty helping us get our paperwork to get our animals into Hawaii without having to quarantine them. The doctor did more than we asked and even printed out all the paperwork we needed for us. 10/10 would return. 8/10 price. 9/10 customer service.

I took my dog for X rays on Thursday October 22 and I paid a total of $ 750 so I could have the results in 24 hours. I have been calling every day about the results and the response is that the dr is not there or she is busy with another pet. I wish they were as prompt to respond as they are to bill. I will need to find another vet.

They scheduled my pets for a "drop off" appointment but neglected to tell me that that meant it would be several hours before my pets were even seen. As a result I waited for FOUR HOURS, having checked in twice about whether they had seen my pets. Finally, the receptionist, (who was very nice) told me this details of what the definition of "drop off" meant which should have been communicated from beginning. (Had I known I had to wait that long I would never have made the appointment. I expressed my frustration, and waited for a reply and got silence. I explained to the vet as such and got silence... there were no apologies from anyone despite my making them aware of how I felt about my experience, and she simply said that I could "leave." Bad customer service, terrible communication, a four hour wait.... with nothing to show for it but fours hours of wasted time not to mention travel time to even get there. AND to mention my pets were STRESSED by the time I got them back. I would advise against this place 100% until they create a better system for cycling through and caring better for, both people and their pets. Really really disappointed.

Just shocked!!! I'm spending the time to write this because I genuinely believe these people are incompetent and not qualified to deal with animals’ health. They put your dog’s health at risk without taking any responsibility! We signed up for Early Care Plus plan, when our puppy was 2 months old. They claimed that’s the best (and most expensive) plan they have, and we don’t need to worry about anything anymore! The best point was that we’d never need to look up a disease in the internet (as they brochure says as well!) if our puppy was sick cause we will get unlimited visits to the clinic! Everyone had happy faces and looked caring! So we got enrolled for one year! It’s been 4 months and we've had 4 visits to the place. Every time they've been rude, unorganized, and clearly not caring about us or our dog. In 2 of visits, we didn't even see the doctor! They took the dog inside due to the pandemic, which was totally understandable. But we didn't see the doctor at all, and the nurse had no idea about what’s been done on my dog. She printed the visit summary for me without any explanation about his health condition or any medical advice, and said we'll call you for scheduling next vaccination, that should be done in 3 weeks. When we didn't receive a call, we called them a lot and left voicemails and there was no response. Our puppy got sick, I called them to ask for an appointment with the unlimited visits option I’m paying for and after 10 times calling was able to reach them! They said they can schedule him for next month with his vaccination, even though it was already late for the vaccine, and if I want anything earlier, I should take him outside or to the emergency care!! I stopped by their office and asked them to cancel my plan and let me pay for the services I have received so far. They said they have no idea how the plan works and it is not in their responsibility! Same people who got us enrolled in the plan! They gave me a number to call, which I called hundred times and there is never a response! I even scheduled a plan consultation on our account on their website and they even sent me the confirmation email, but no call or email after! Today, we went there for the vaccination finally, which is more than a month late! The appointment was at 7:10 and they told us it takes few minutes when scheduling it! I left him at 7 and they said his doctor isn't in yet and it might take half an hour, so I’d better leave and come back. I had to work at 10, so I went back at 9:30 after not receiving any calls! after keeping me waiting for half an hour, the nurse said they haven’t started our puppy's visit yet because they've had couple of sick puppies coming in suddenly! I asked if you accept sick puppies without notice, how come I had to wait for a month when my puppy was sick?!And all I got was cold look, no answer, and finally hearing that all we can do for you is to give you your dog now and reschedule the appointment! I requested to cancel the plan and they gave me the same number again. I feel so stuck with this company and I don’t know what to do! They lure you to enroll into a plan that is worth nothing and they do not let you cancel it before they make you owe more than what is left in the plan! I left my puppy happy and healthy there and they didn't do anything, but when they gave him to me after 3 hours of keeping him in god knows where, he was all wet! Smelling like garbage! Scared as hell and shivering! and having diarrhea! I don't trust them at all, and this place is such a mess that I don't get shocked if they've given him some medication by mistake or any other reason! I can't express the extent of my anger and disappointment!This plan has been the worst decision we've ever made and I am going to inform all my students and colleagues to prevent them from endangering their loved ones! P.S. It's been a month after I posted the review and have contacted them hundred times and there is till no response whatsoever from Banfield! Can somebody help me and tell me what to do please?

I really like the people & Vets here, especially Dr. Banoub & I love how they have monthly payment plans for our pets. I put only 4 stars out of 5 cuz no place is perfect

The front desk ladies are sweet but thats about all this place has to offer. I dropped my cat off at 730 AM and he wasn't seen by anyone till 4 PM. This place is a joke as a vet service.

I liked one of the nurse but i didn’t like the fact how high the price were and can’t take care of my cat right or holding on to my cat almost all day. They didn’t really exam my cat they gave me medicine and made things worse and they still use my first time exam free and won’t do next one for free even if they didn’t do the exam the first time. Kinda disappointed, all they want was MONEY. I don’t recommend this place. I switched to VCA Feline Vet and it was quick and much better... my cat even started to feel better even at a reasonable price much lower than banfield! Too scare to hold a damn cat! ???? what a joke
