Downwind is an awful experience. Only because of the neighbor

The park was clean and had water spigots for the dogs. There were areas for small and large dogs. Everyone was friendly and respectful.

Did not enjoy this park at all. Regulars were super unfriendly and did nothing to stop their dogs poor behavior. Go to the park in foster city, much better community and way cleaner!

Just a dirt patch to run around on.

The big dog side for dogs that are 35lbs and up is really spacious. There’s plenty of room for your baby to run around. The only con is that there’s absolutely no shade or grass. It’s all dirt and very dusty. The small dog side is great though. There’s a nice big tree and lots of grass.

I looooove this dog park and I come all the time! It's barely 5 minutes from where I live so the location is ideal for me. The dogs and owners I've met there are extremely kind and everyone just wants the dogs to have fun. There's a little obstacle course as well. The big dog side has soooooo much room to run! I knocked off one star because I really wish someone would give the big dog side some love. Apparently, years ago, it looked a lot more like the small dog side with grass and a big tree for shade. Now there's only one tree off in a corner with no seating nearby. My dog's paw pads got torn up when he first started coming because of the rough dirt. There are two tables but be prepared to be in the sun!

Unless you live in one of the Myrid apartment complexes in this area, this park takes forever to get to. I arrived at 10 AM and there were no dogs at all in the park.

Terrific dog park! It’s actually two dog parks - one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. Small dogs (under 35 pounds) are not permitted in the area for larger dogs. The small dog area has some grass and a big tree that offers a lot of shade. While not terribly big, there is enough space for your pup to run around and play fetch. There is also a bench around the trunk of the tree in case you want to have a seat while your pup plays.

I love the parking situation here with street parking and meters.

Despite being next to a waste water treatment plant, it's a beautiful spot on the bay. Really love the separate area for small dogs

I have been to several dog parks in San Mateo County. If you are desperate, yes, use this one. But here is what you will experience: It is very small, shaped roughly like a mishapened triangle. Of course, like all of the dog parks in our area except Foster City, the surface is dirt. On the upside, I was surprised to see tables and chairs, instead of benches, for people to sit on. On the downside, they were eons older, dirty, plastic. My recommendation would be that you forget the dog park and take your dog on a walk around the wetlands on their gravel trail. There are lots of wild flowers out in the spring and always a refreshing breeze.

Great place to run big dogs that like to chase things. Fully enclosed and small dogs and big dogs have separate areas. We take our Greyhounds here to chase after a little RC car and they have a blast.

Usually an awesomely quiet spot safe for the dogs to hang out but the sewerplant is being worked on and the smell is sometimes horrible

Shady on a hot day and wide open spaces for dogs to have a blast.

Spacious area with benches and picnic tables. Trail along the bay next to the dog park.

Love the other dogs and owners here, and that the small dog area is actually really nice!

It's okay. The entrance is weirdly hidden. There is no grass in the big dog side. Construction next door is really loud and dusty.

Plenty of room for the big dogs to run, and a separate yard for the smaller dogs.

Best dog park I've ever been too. Tons of great dogs and responsible parents. Park has seating, is clean, plenty of parking and a walking path connected.

Fine place to bring your furry friends. Note that on occasion, it can get windy here.

This is a nice big fenced off dog park. Unlike seal point park, this park is very clean (i.e. no dog ????). There is this crazy big ball there that drove my dog crazy cause she couldn't grab it. Unfortunately it made her mouth bleed. This is the only park I've seen with obstacles. My dog had no interest in them though.
