Super efficient and affordable cat neutering. Ours was back to hunting the same evening.

Bait and switch. Be aware. First time working with them for TNR. Trapped a cat that didn’t need to get works done. When they called me they said the cat doesn’t need works and will be there with the rest of the trapped ferals to be picked up in the afternoon. Without getting consent from the TNR volunteer, they administered vaccines and wouldn’t release the cat if the pick up volunteer doesn’t pay. When I argued that none of the procedures done got any consent beforehand, they claimed that it’s a “common sense” if a cat doesn’t need to get neutered, the vaccines will be administered anyways and the TNR volunteer is responsible for all the bills. Frustrated about how poorly they handled this situation. And it’s situations like this makes people less willing to participate in TNR.

I went to Nine Lives for my cats vaccination as I live close by, the team is extremely helpful and nice, It can have a long line depending on the time and day, no appointment needed and low cost, make sure to check the website for vaccination schedule as it changes every week.

Not the fanciest shelter but definitely worth 5 star.

I adopted a 2+ year old torbie just over a month ago. I could tell they wanted her out if there, yet nobody would adopt her, she was not socialized. Very true, but a few weeks of peace at my place without the institution, and she Is finally relaxing. What a beautiful little cat she is! My 13 year old boy cat likes her company, they sleep snug together. It will take more time for her to get trusting, but she is doing great. They led me to believe she was unadoptable.

I had to surrender a cat that I adopted from Nine Lives five years ago. They, especially Luz, were compassionate and kind to me. I know my girl will get the care and rehab she needs from them. In the end, she will find a perfect home.

Thank you Dr R and the nine lives team. You guys are kitty angels. Thank you for all you do for the ferals. If it wasn't for you the feral with the broken tail would have had to suffer. Thank you so much for all you do.

Rescued two kittens at this place. The lady's who work there are super nice, the post adoption support for those who have issues is also great. This place is no-kill and they have tons of cats to adopt. Definitely give this place a shot.

My son and I went in December to adopt 2 brothers and ended up getting 2 boys and their kennel sister Jazzy! I can’t express enough how much love these 3 angels have brought to our family! God bless the employees at Nine Lives for everything they are doing!

WANT TO ADOPT A SICK KITTEN? A vet that refuses to do her job? You've come to the right place. We adopted a kitten that had an UPPER RESPIRATORY DISEASE - the kitten ended up giving it to my cat who has now suffered from it for 2 weeks. The doctor here is super irresponsible and all the kittens are kept in one small room, very easy for diseases to spread. Since our kitten was kept in that room, I'm sure a bunch of other kittens have already gotten it. THANKS DOCTOR FOR DOING YOUR JOB.

I love this place! They do so much for cats of all ages! They provide so much support and help. I adopted from here and I love not only the service, but the services they provide the kittens and cats. Very dedicated foundation and the best out there. I love how they’re not interested in making a Quick buck for themselves, but interested in the health of the kittens and cats and knowing that they are well taken care of. Don’t go anywhere else, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! The staff is lovely and very helpful in any situation. I did so much research about many places! And was in a rush to adopt having just lost my pet and time and time again I found myself waiting for my appointment here, but the others did not compare. Nine lives is an amazing place! When my cat koda was sick after getting in fights with cats, they saved him. Amazing!

I adopted my cat here a month ago and had a wonderful experience! They allow potential adopters to meet the cats based on appointment. The staff was very friendly and informative. After my appointment, I was able to take home my cat after a just few days.

I get my 19 yr. old cats flea prevention at the facility there. I am confident with the staff's knowledge and being able to visit with up to 50 kitty's THAT ARE UP FOR ADOPTION in contained structures, is extremely fun.

Please, please, PLEASE do NOT adopt a cat from this foundation. I know that they try their hardest to keep these cats fed and healthy-- but it's not enough. Too many diseased kittens are kept together with healthy kittens-- and illnesses for kittens can equal a quick death sentence. I was unaware how serious even colds were for kittens, and adopted one of their MANY sick cats. She was a sweatheart and only 2 months old. However, she was very very sick. 9 Lives did not test her well enough nor inform me of all the illnesses she had, including severe pneumonia, an eye infection, and coccidia. After spending over $5,000 dollars of my own money trying to get her better, she had to be put down. I am devastated. In the short time I had her I loved her a lot. Due to this shelter's insufficient quarantine, terrible conditions, and overcrowdedness, they gave this kitten a death sentence no amount of help could prevent. I know that they try their best, but I sincerely think a lot of the cats they take in would be better off on the street.

They rescue cats and unlike spca they don't put cats down. 'If you love cats please support them!

I can not express my feelings about this place. Dr. R and the staff are heaven sent. Dr. R is an angel sent to protect and help felines.

Recently adopted a cat from here. He was neutered the day before but the staff said nothing about it and we only found out once we got home and looked at his medical records. We called and asked if there was anything we should do (like get him an e-cone), but they just said to let him do what he wanted to do. Four days later and we had to take him to the vet where he was diagnosed with URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) and an infected wound at his neutered area. This shelter just wants the cats out and doesn't really care about them. Do not go there unless you want to risk getting a sick cat.
