Can't say enough good things about banfield. 1. They're reasonably priced probably below most other vets. 2. Your pets records are in the banfield system, so if you move or need an appt at another location voila. 3. Great doctors. Recently had to put our dog down. Was not upsold on very pricey treatments. Vet told us our dog was not doing well, but 100% left it up to us. The vet took the time to talk to us. Private cremation was very inexpensive. They gave us a positive professional experience at a very sad time. I have no plans to take my dogs anywhere else. Why would I?

We needed to have our cat checked and put down. Because of severe Kidney disease. She was 20 years old. They told me it was a few hundred dollars to do this. So we went in with my crying 9 year old son to put her down. When we got there, they told me it was going to be 700 dollars now. For what, I dont know. We had to put our only pet down we have ever had of 20 years and they wanted to take advantage of us in our most emotional state. How dare they price switched us while we were there. We left. Horrified. We will never be back at petsmart when we get another pet. Taking advantage of people in sad times. Thank God we got an extra day with our cat and brought her to the only vet hospital we will ever take our next pet too in in Lake Forest. Shame on Banfield for price gouging and switching. Do not trust them. We went here because my mother has been taking her dog here. Only to find out she tells me what they are charging her. For the same exact treatments and the vet hospital in Lake forest, they are 3/4 less expensive than Banfield. Ridiculous to be taking advantage of pet families during this time.

I work at a competing pet store so it is difficult for me to walk into a PetSmart, however Dr. Mccarthy and the staff at this Banfield absolutely I ake it worth taking my dog there. Her expert knowledge coupled with the phenomenal staff is something not always seen at a vet clinic. I want the best for my dog, and at this particular Banfield I have found it.

Only complaint would be the wait if you don't have an appointment it can be a long wait. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. We keep coming back. We also have the insurance.

I've lived in this area for 30 plus years and have seen my share of veterinarians in that time, this hospital is one of the best from the staff to the veterinarians. They always greet me with a smile and know my name and my pet's name as soon as they see me, and the treatment of my pet is nothing but excellent everytime...I can't say enough about them!

The vet is very competent, but they are too busy to be able to schedule appointments in any reasonable time frame -- it's weeks, not days -- so if your pet is actually sick, u have to see another vet.

Would give 0 stars if I could! Worst CUSTOMER service. Absolutley appalled at the way both the manager and Cheif of Staff spoke to me. I took my dog in for an ear hematoma and he had to have surgery. Upon picking him up they did not charge me for bandaging him up, but they charged me for bandaging when I brought him in for a check up. I called request that I bring him in to replace the bandages he has now as it was/is very loose and I do not believe will survive until his next appointment. I do not feel it would be fair to charge me for replacement of bandages that are sub par compared to when I picked him up from surgery. The receptionist took my information regarding my concern and advised that the manager would be calling me back. This is where the lack of customer service shined through. Before I could even provide my concerns, the manager was already set on the outcome, spoke over me, was condescending, and completely rude. I asked if the phone calls were recorded because the receptionist stated that it was not customary to charge for the bandages. She stated they were and that she listened to the call prior to speaking to me and that was not said. I couldn't believe I was being treated this way and she was now calling me a liar. I requested to speak to her supervisor and she continued to cut me off saying I was welcome to take my pet elsewhere. I received a call from the Chief of Staff who treated me the exact same way. This is where things got worse. It did not seem that she was listening to my concern either, but ready to go on defense before I could even explain. She stated that they would not do any service for free, which is not what I was asking, and then the kicker is that she offered to open the bill that they didnt put the bandages charge on and include it and send me another bill. Mind you, I am on the petsmart plan and have already paid over $700 for everything up until this point. I didnt realize that requesting them to redo the bandages that were not done properly was going to turn into petsmart attacking me and telling me I am welcome to take my pet elsewhere. What a customer service nightmare. I would not reccomend this Banefield pet hospital. This is a very edited version of the way o was treated...

You can't beat Dr. Hall for a caring veterinarian for your pet.

Dr. Wu is amazing, caring, and talented! She saved our catAva Gardner's life. Our cat was half dead and other vets didn't know what to do. After one month she is eating again, drinking, gained weight and her bloodwork is nearly normal. Dr. Wu put her on antibiotics, steroids, anti naseau, appetite stimulant, force feeding and sub-cutaneous electrolytes. Dr. let me spread out treatment due to tight budget too. Thank you Banfield and Dr. Wu!
