Dr. Bolous was great and did everything he could for my dog Jasper. He patiently talk to me and explained everything and found a late night emergency hospital so I could take my dog there in an attempt to help him. The staff there was very sympathetic to our dog’s illness. I highly recommend Day Creek Animal Hospital in Rancho to everyone.

Made an appointment to spay my cat and they initially made it at 10am. Called to confirm my appointment and said it was a mistake that they can only schedule spays at 8 am. I changed my appointment and showed up at 8. They didn’t open until 9 and nurse said I needed to wait because she wasn’t clocked in. I leave my cat , they call at around 2 and said they couldn’t proceed because she had a small cut and needed proof of vaccination. If not it was an additional $200. The spay service was already $500 and they wanted an additional $200. They are overpriced, even wanted $35 for bandages. I declined the services, picked up my cat and took her to the HUMANE SOCIETY OF SAN BERNARDINO. They did the services under $80 and were on time.

Very friendly staff that welcomed new patients on a Sunday night emergency call. Veterinarian is very thorough and compassionate. Office is very clean and plenty of parking.

I usually don't give reviews but this was the worst experience at a veterinarian that I've ever had. I brought my 2-year-old dog in for a second round of shots and was new to Rancho Cucamonga. I found Day Creek animal hospital online and made an appointment. The first appointment they called me back and told me that the veterinarian didn't show up and that they would have to reschedule. When I arrived at my rescheduled appointment the veterinarian assistant took a choker collar and a muzzle and took my dog to a back room and wouldn't let me talk to the vet. The dog spent a full 30 minutes in the back room even though I gave them the dogs vaccination record and they should have been able to tell me immediately what he needed being two years old. I wasn't allowed to ask any questions or inquire about any flea medications or anything else my dog might need. After being charged $89 for three vaccinations and an office visit, they brought my dog back and I asked them for a record from the bottle of the vaccinations like what i showed them in my dogs vaccination record book and they told me that they keep those. She told me the vet said that my dogs exam was fine and to go on my way. I have no way of knowing if they gave my dog a vaccination or an exam. It was the single worst experience I've ever had in a veterinarian. perhaps they just don't like new patients. They clearly do not understand the bond and connection that the person has with their animal and they were extremely rude to me and my dog.

These guys took in our dog in an emergency at 9:45 on a Sunday night. They are all awesome. Some reviews complain about price and they way they do things. Remember, this is NOT a run-of-the-mill vet, open 10-5 in your local strip mall. They are an animal hospital (see their name). They are open more, provide more services, and generally more flexible. My pet is worth it.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for first-time dog owners just because they aren’t as good with clarifying certain procedures that a first dog owner would like to know. They kind of expect you to know and aren’t very commutative with what’s going on even if you had just addressed you are a first time pet owner. Overall this place is pretty fast and has pretty good prices for shots and exams.

I took my 15 year old beloved dog here for her euthinasia appointment. I called inquiring if the $30 dollar examination fee was really necessary because my dog was very old and obviously in pain. They said it IS necessary as it is protocol and I accepted it but when I went to pay they waved that fee. That was a very kind gesture. I will be taking my animals to this vet from now on. The employees are very kind.

We had an appointment today on Sept 5, 2021 at 10:45am. We got a text confirmation on Friday and everything. We showed up and called to tell them we arrived and they said they had no record of our appointment. I told them we got a text confirmation that literally says Sunday September 5 at 10:45am. She told me that they only see emergency pets on Sundays. I told her it was their mistake and that we should still be seen because it's just shots and we are already here. It is a holiday weekend and we had decided not to go out of town just because of this appointment, so we are extra frustrated that they would do this to us. I asked to show her the text confirmation and she wouldn't allow it, and when I asked if she saw it on her end that they made a mistake, she insisted she only saw that our appointment was suppose to be Saturday Sept. 4th. Well I'm uploading it here for everyone to see and to say that this office is horrible for being this disorganized and then not acknowledging their own mistakes. We were already there! She said they had a "busy day" so they couldn't see us because they were expecting a lot of pets coming in. Well we Have an appointment! They were suppose to see US!! Unbelievable

We took my kitten here for an eye infection. The eye never healed and we had to have it removed. They gave him back with a broken tail. They also had our phone number COMPLETELY wrong. They also had us under a different name. Extremely unprofessional.

Do not take your pet here! They are very very unprofessional! I have been taking my pet here for two years because they were the only place open.. they claim to be an emergency animal hospital but they have turned me down numerous times! Even though my pet was a long time client. My pet was on the verge of dying and the receptionist kept telling me that she would ask The doctor to call me back and he never did! They have a different veterinarian every day so nothing is consistent with this place. I've been told that I could get a refill on a prescription only to come there and they told me that the doctor that prescribed it is not there and they don't have the medication anymore... I could go on and on with a list of unprofessionalism that this place displays ..... I would not trust them with my pet ever again!

1st visit here and it is obvious they care about their patients. Cost is in line with our prior vet (we moved which is why we changed).

I was visiting family and SoCal and needed a vet and Day Creek was very welcoming and super helpful in getting our puppies started on their shots. The girls at the front were very nice and the doctor very patient when explaining everything that was going on with our kids ????????.

This is wrost place ever!!! I took my cat there to fix and then after almost die because they gave my cat wrong medicine I have to change different hospital to fix agian cost me almost $2000... don’t take your pet to here there are not the animals hospital they are a animals killer place... ☠️☠️☠️☠️

Over charge, if you think something is wrong with your pet and kind of have a general area and tell the Doc, his "examination" is only that one part of the body you mentioned, no where else. If you don't say anything and notice something on another body part they will require another full pay exam again instead of doing it on the first time

Very unprofessional. This place is nothing more than a money grab, they will overcharge and try to run every test that can. I know of multiple pets that have died as a result of the poor care here. Will be reporting this veteranarian to the appropriate medical organizations

2 years ago, my cats front paws were declawed from this hospital. After 2 weeks from the surgery I was told to bring in my cat to have the bandages changed. Which they did. Two weeks after that I was told to bring in the cat to have the bandages changed again. This time I noticed that the bandages look the same, like they had not been changed. So I changed them myself. This time, I put a little mark on the bandage where it overlapped onto another bandage. I called the hospital and asked if they could check my cats claws to see if they were doing okay. I took the cat in, the cat stayed there for over several hours and then I was called back to pick up the cat. I looked at the cat's bandages and the wrappings that I had marked we're still in the same place. They did not check my cat's paws. I was furious, but I kept my patience. I didn't say a word to them and I figured when my cat's paws healed I would never go back to them again. WELL, 2 years later come to find out my cat still has a claw! So I called the hospital and they confirmed that when a cat has its claws removed they do not grow back. Guess somebody has some explaining to do.

I took my young cat, Simba, to this vet. He wasn’t eating and had an eye infection. The staff has shown that the pets in their care are nothing more than a cash grab, with poor quality of care in return. They ran blood tests, ran I.V.s thru him and tried to get more tests out of me. Over $1000 dollars spent only for them to give my cat antibiotics and say he’ll get better. Less than a week later, Simba passed away. This vet is extremely unprofessional and treat the pets with a poor quality of care with unapologetic staff who could care less for your animals. Please take your animals somewhere they will get a better quality of care.

I was told my cat needed a biopsy for a polyp in his ear I paid the money $381 But I never got any results I call several times and I was giving the same lame excuse "we are too busy we will call you back " they never called I called to ask for a refund and the manager is never there. I had to take my cat to an other hospital Do not recommend this place it is not Latino Friendly they would just take your money and run and then hide not to give you a refund for no services provided BEWARE LATINOS

I gave it 2 stars because once My dog got the treatment he needed, he got better. However, if you are willing to wait 4 hours to have your pet seen then by all means go to this animal hospital. They never return calls! Chewy could never get them to just click the submit button so my dog could get his prescription, so Chewy canceled my dog's needed prescription...what a waste of my time and unfortunate for my dog that needed his prescription. I tried before that to get it directly from them without success, as well. Overall, I am no longer willing to have my dog wait 4 hours in a cage until the vet FINALLY decides to see him!! Good luck!
