Very caring for our dogs. We know our dogs are in the best hands possible, but kinda pricey and every visit they recommend several additional treatments,. Our dogs seem to need a lot more healthcare than us, whilst they are home the whole day with a 10k sqft yard, go for a walk around the block every evening and go on weekend breaks with us. They seem very healthy, so not sure why we are told these stories that they need more protection. We are European, and from living 5 years in the US we have noticed that the media and other businesses are more focused on installing fear and that you need this and that, as against just relax and enjoy life. Amazing to see how people waste money on things they don't need but are made to believe they need it.

I know its an emotional time after losing a pet, waiting for their ashes. To be told they had them for days I had no contact from them what so ever and they tried to lie to me not just once but over and over again. Don't get me started on the euthanize part. Awful just awful.

They REFUSE to return emails. The vet has a serious attitude. Her aides are AMAZING.

I will not be returning to Ramona Animal Hospital EVER again. We moved to Ramona late last year, and I chose this vet as primary care for our two-year-old Catahoula male. Support staff has always seemed a little "bungly" but we wanted to support locally, as well as have a good health solution close-by for our dog. Unfortunately, I realized yesterday, that there is apparently very little interest in the health of pets, or the mental well-being of their owners. I returned home from L.A. late afternoon, to find my dog on the sofa, somewhat lethargic, and swollen in the right cheek. Fire Department was just out yesterday, to kill a Northern Pacific Rattler for my wife, and they are all over the neighborhood right now because of the Spring, late rains, and boom in rodent population. So, I was immediately concerned I might have a bite on my hands. I called RAH at approximately 5:15p, so that they could help me determine that, only to be placed on hold and subsequently told that they were closing soon, and that I would have to go to Escondido or Poway. Are you kidding??? It's not like I'm calling at 5:29 and demanding that you clip my dog's dew claws! I have a friggin' RATTLE SNAKE BITE over here, and you just told me to drive at least 30 miles, and couldn't seem to care less about it! I couldn't believe it. Truly. I mean, hey, it's the end of the day. People want to get home to their families, eat some dinner, whatever. I get it. But, someone calls you and tells you that they have a life-threatening emergency on their hands, with you being in the role of supposedly handling that sort of thing, and you tell 'em, sorry for you?!?! In my opinion, a complete lack of empathy or ownership. RAH is a JOKE, and your pet deserves better. Luckily, I made it to Poway in time, and after great support from a REAL veterinary staff and docs, it looks like our dog is going to be OK, with no thanks to RAH.

I called because my dog was howling in pain and although they weren’t able to take me in, they referred me over to a hospital that could. This shows how much they care. Thank you guys.

Best vet in Ramona. Didn't pressure me or guilt me into unnecessary treatment.

Best vet that I have experienced. The clinic is caring, the people are pleasant and courteous. The vet is over the top. Prices are good, their care is above and beyond. I have had them for over 16 years on and off. I no longer live in Ramona. I go out of my way to drive there because of their care. Mary (vet) goes above and beyond!!!! I WON'T TAKE MY PETS ANYWHERE ELSE!

Doctor is fantastic! However, the staff is the worst ever. Whatever you do, do not get in any disagreement with the staff. They blacklist you and hold grudges personally towards you and your pets. They are undoubtedly the most unprofessional and uncaring people I have ever met. The staff could care less about your pets/animals. Extremely self-centered, rude and one you cannot trust the safety of your pets with. It's a downright shame too, because the doctor is fantastic. Just wish she would get a clue as to how her staff runs her business.

Very, very happy with the Vet. Keeping customer informed with progress before and after a procedure can improve.

After an unfortunate encounter between my 12 year old cat and a raccoon, I was forced to put her down. The staff was extremely kind and understanding during a horrible time for me. Very nice people work here.

Took my dog in for foxtails in the ear. Allowed the vet to try it without sedation first. Notified staff to call me if any troubles. Instead they fought my dog, made her ear bleed and the vet came outside to tell me how "bad" she was! She is now traumatized of the vet! Thanks alot! . Side note... My dog does not bite and is not aggressive. She literally shook in my truck on the way home and was extremely scared to be touched by people for a few days afterwards. Will not EVER recommend this place!!!

Today I had to put my fur faded friend of 15 1/2 years down. The staff was very compassionate and understanding. Without a doubt I will back and support them and the staff. Mary was amazing with the procedure. Thank you and all of your staff.

DR.Kayser is an EXCellent Surgeon! Also VERY meticulous and cautious when it comes to caring for our Pit bulls. We have come in with all sorts of injuries, weird bumps, and allergies. She's really on top of it. The staff is great. Affordable.

We are visiting Ramona when our senior best Labrador friend got hurt. It’s always scary to take a family member to a Dr. you are unfamiliar with. Reviews and the folks at our RV park took us to Ramona vet and we were glad we did. Dr. Kayser is very caring and knowledgeable. Everyone involved in Buddy’s care is excellent and Holly at the front is a multitasking queen. Thank you all.

I'm not fond of this vet hospital. The staff was great!!! But the vet I strongly disagree. I needed an exam done of my cat and because she had anxiety the doctor wouldnt get her out of her carrier. It was up to my cat to walk out. Or not even let me hold my cat to let her exam her. They even have a sign saying please let staff only touch the animal while giving exam.Gave me powder capsules for anxiety which is impossible to give a cat. Rescheduled me out another week. Went to another vet in Santee and although my cat showed anxiety I was able to hold/comfort her and when examining her they appropriately held her to do what they needed. Sadly I wont be going back

Just received this today....although it was amazing, it broke my heart. I can't believe they did this. Is it possible to go anywhere else. They love their patients. Also remember that when you see the bill, the Dr went through years of school and they need to support themselves including the staff and the roof over their head. Losing my dog was the hardest thing I'll ever have to cope with. She was my world and I loved her so much. I haven't been in my backyard because of her. Only enough time to take care of my chickens. I hope I feel better soon! Deepest love to you guys for being so sincere. I'll never forget this and neither will Daisy
