Such pleasant staff. They truly care about their patients. Dr. Shearer did a great job on helping my Frenchie recover from a scratched eyeball. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

We took our Billy there due to some urinate issues. He was so miserable and he is a terrible cat with strangers. This hospital was so helpful and kind with our little monster. They fixed him up and put him on a diet. We are very satisfied with the service we received.

This place messed up my dog SO bad. I brought her in a week ago for a corneal abrasion (scratch on her eyeball.) I don't know if she was dropped (she's a very small dog,) or handled too roughly, but now she can't walk & she's stopped eating on her own. We had to take her to the emergency clinic in Visalia. Now she's on all kinds of pain medication & we're having to force feed her.

Great Vet & staff. High quality care. More reasonably priced than most other Vets, especially boarding. Also only Vet I know in Porterville that accepts spay/neuter vouchers from County Animal Shelters.

I am bringing my pets here for the past seven years and have always handled scheduling the appointments and drop off/pick ups. I didn't want to believe my wife when she would tell me that she was treated differently when she would be the one to call. This week, I finally witnessed it myself. I'm not sure if it's related to race or the young ladies at this office just have a problem with other females. But their behavior is disgusting. Im caucasian and my wife is Hispanic with an accent so again, not sure if its because shes a woman or because shes not white like the doctor and his staff. My daughter has also had bad experience with them being rude. Looking for another vet office asap!!

They have unprofessional, rude, disrespectful staff working at this place. Your pets care will be the LAST thing on their mind. The Dr. is rude, his brunette receptionist is even worst. Save yourself a headache and DO NOT COME HERE.

I always have a great experience here with my dogs. The front staff is super friendly and I feel comfortable leaving my dogs with them.

I will be taking my pets elsewhere. I find the staff to be very insensitive to my pets' needs. I used to work for a veterinarian and he or the staff never turned anyone down, no matter the reason!

I called last week around 4:00 pm which was near closing time but was still during office hours and I would have called earlier but that's when we noticed my boyfriend's dog getting worse so I called and explained my boyfriend's dog was panting heavily and was occasionally making choking like noises and the receptionist asked how long has this been happening and I said it started a couple days prior but we noticed it had got a lot worse and that we were worried and I was told there was about a two week wait that I would be better off calling the vet clinics in Visalia to possibly get her in quicker and the receptionist did not mention that if we feel it's an emergency they will take walk ins because we were ready to take her right than and since the work day was ending we knew we.wouldn't have made it to Visalia before closing time so decided we'd take her first thing in the morning. Around mid night we noticed my boyfriend's beloved fur baby's health decreasing even more.so I was looking up 24 hour emergency vet hospitals which I did not see any for Porterville and I found two on google in Visalia and called.the phone numbers from the website.and.one of the phone numbers directed me to a furniture stores voice mail and the other phone number was making fax line noise and Stella (my boyfriend's beloved fur baby) passed away while we were trying to get her to an emergency vet hospital when we would have taken her right away if I was told that Henderson vet hospital took walk ins if we felt it was an emergency rather than tell me I'd be better off calling Visalia to get her in quicker after me explaining her symptoms. I don't know whether or not Stella could have been treated because we still don't know why this was happening to her but it's possible she could still be here with us today if I knew that Henderson vet hospital would take walk ins for emergencies as stated on the website which I did not get the number from the website so I did not know, nor, was I told when I called.

Very friendly staff they ordered my fur buddy Cocos records from his last vet and was able to carry on with his medicine just like they did for the last go-around when he had his allergies

It’s not completely bad, but i would definitely not recommend. my pup got spayed and when I dropped her off I was going to let her know i’ll be back (like i always do when i leave her anywhere) and the staff just pulled her away. Once I went to pick her up, when the vet was talking to us she seemed very fearful and wary of him. I asked the lady at the front desk if I could get pain medication for her, she said no, that she wouldn’t need it. She got one of her organs taken out and you’re telling me she’s not going to need pain medication?! (also the receptionists didn’t have masks, not even the vet!)
